Golden Knights 5, Blackhawks 3!VGK becomes the first-ever defending Stanley Cup Champion to start the next season 6-0! Zeke are the Golden Knights selling out most nights? I'm looking at ticket prices and they are pretty high. |

I'm looking at ticket prices and they are pretty high. Yeah, they seem to be, I have seen lots of 100%s for attendance in the ESPN online box scores for VGK games. But if you wait right before the game starts, there is an app where you can usually get good seats at a low price as some tickets holders who can’t make the game sell them at big discounts. |

Tonight the Golden Knights ended the 16 game winning streak of the Edmonton Oilers with a 3-1 victory here in Las Vegas. I was glad to see that. I think both your Knights and my Canucks are hoping to avoid them in the playoffs. They've really regained their mojo since making that coaching change. Plus, when McDavid and Draisaitl are at the top of their game they're nearly impossible to stop. |

Yoiu wll have to tell me wjat you thought of T-Mobile Arena when I meet you and Tournament Master for dinner tonight in about an hour. Pizza at Chicago's downtown, the Toy Shack, and the Nerd Bar, it should be a fun night tonight. |

The Toy Shack? As seen on Pawn Stars? Very cool. yeah, I think so, thay have some cool stuff in there, would you believe they are selling an unopened Hillbilly Jim LBJ action figure for $625? I remember my parents bought me that same action figure for I think $10 in 1986 or 1987 at Toys R Us in Tacoma. It was good seeing Tournament Master (who I will also see at Mania Weekend) and Sinestro again last night. We ate pizza (we all shared both a small deep dish pizza and a small thin crust pizza and the garlic knotts appetizer that is very popular at Chicago's) at the Chicago's location inside the Four Queens for dinner, walked over to the Toy Shack, and then walked up the escalator to the Nerd Bar for a couple of drinks. Tournament Master was in town due to a convention for his work, Sinestro is in town because he works for NFL Films and we have the Super Bowl here on Sunday, and I was in town because I live here. I had a good time last night. |
