the Baseball HOF has been a joke ever since Tinker Evers and Chance (average guys for the most part) were all inducted into the HOF.

It was great watching (via DVDR) Edgar Martinez getting inducted into the Hall of Fame today! As a Mariners fan, not much to cheer for this year- other than their promising minor league talent- and they will probably not be competitive again until at least 2121. But it was at least great seeing Edgar-a lifelong Mariner- get inducted into the Hall of Fame today! whlineup, what are your thoughts on Edgar Martinez getting inducted into the Hall of Fame? |

Edgar! Total class and probably the most excited I have been about Seattle Baseball the last three years. Very disappointed the prior two years when he wasn't voted in, but I had a great feeling he would get in on this last ballot which he did. I even changed my Fantasy Baseball's Team name to "GAR HOF19" for this season LOL. Vegas |

Lotta good names coming up for 2020, I am sure Jeter will be unanimous but I am pulling for Raul Ibanez & Cliff Lee.

Lotta good names coming up for 2020, I am sure Jeter will be unanimous but I am pulling for Raul Ibanez & Cliff Lee. I suspect Jeter will be the only member of the 1st timers going in. Only question is will he be 2nd unanimous selection. Still a lot of very good carryover names out there, and you never know what those wacky committees will come up with. |

I am hoping the Veteran's Committee will select Lou Piniella as a manager for the Hall of Fame (14th all time in wins as a manager and 3 time Manager of the Year.) |
