I've played the games for years, but I recently got email, so now I'm finally on the boards. I'm an "old school" wrestling fan. I grew up watching Wrestling At The Chase from St. Louis--before Vince bought the timeslot for his show. I also grew up with the syndicated World Class Championship Wrestling show out of "Big D" Dallas, Texas. When I was old enough to stay up late, I could watch the Crockett syndicated show NWA Worldwide. I miss those good old days. That's why I love the Legends of Wrestling game. I won't be online constantly because I use the computer at the library. I hope everyone enjoys reading my posts.

Welcome to the boards!! What are some of your favourite cards in the game? "The Greatest Wrestler on God's Green Earth" Harley Race, Bruiser Brody Lou Thesz, Buddy Rogers, Randy Savage, and the Road Warriors from the color set. Some of my black and white favorites are Midnight Express, Fabulous Kangaroos, Fantastics, Sheepherders, Ox Baker, Nick Bockwinkel, Missing Link, Mid-South era Ted DiBiase, Steve Williams, Exotic Adrian Street, Magnum T.A., Eddie Gilbert, Kevin Sullivan, Blackjack Mulligan, Tommy Rich, Roddy Piper, and Tony Atlas. I'm sure I'm forgetting somebody. These are some of the guys I enjoyed watching and reading about. My earliest memory of wrestling is sitting with my Dad on Sunday mornings watching guys like Race, Brody, Baker, and DiBiase on St. Louis TV. Brody was also on World Class with Link, Midnights, and Fantastics. I later saw Gilbert and Williams on UWF. I wish I could have seen Thesz, Rogers, and the Kangaroos, but they were a bit before my time. We didn't have cable, so I couldn't watch AWA with Bockwinkel or Georgia with Piper and Rich. I'd read magazine articles about Street and Sullivan, and I really wished I could see their matches--especially Sullivan's Army of Darkness vs Dusty Rhodes in Florida.
