I will love and enjoy this game until the day I die. I've been playing since 1986 and plan to for a long time to come.

I got a phone call from a number I didn't recognize and usually I don't answer when that happens but for some reason I did this time. The voice on the other end was one I did recognize all too well, it was the voice of TOM Filsinger.

I thought I was in for it and suddenly felt ten years old again, but what I got was the usual friendly, caring guy I met at Galacticon 3 in 1992. He knows me well after my 11 Galacticon appearance and helping him at Gencon one year, and wasn't made at me at all....... He was worried about me being upset. Can you believe that? He was worried about me being upset with the game and just wanted to talk.

Suddenly I remembered everything that was right with this game and why I love it so much!

Now, he didn't tell me to but I want to apologize to the board for my rants. I truly am sorry for any and all negativity I might have brought about, I would never do anything to hurt this game. I'm just so passionate when it comes to COTG I act before I think and for that I am sorry.

I can honestly tell you the man cares and is working hard to rectify the problems of online and ensure we have the best game possible going forward, both dice and digital.

This is the best game in the world, with the BEST fans in the world. 31 years and counting................

Even though I'm not nearly the wrestling fan I was, I will be loyal for years to become because the fans are the greatest in the galaxy and Tom and Todd and the rest really do care what happens.

I echo Kevin: Tom is a great guy that cares about his fans and customers. Talking to him on the phone back in 2008 or 2009 was a highlight for me as a player. He has always reached out to me when I had an issue. No matter what interest or hobby pulls me away from FG, I always come back. I'll always support this company, even if I don't watch much wrestling these days.

I just tried it and was able to log into the online.

Hey gang! I promised regular updates and here's the latest...

There are two people currently working on the issues with online. One is a tech support person and the other a programmer. They are studying the mechanics of online including the underlying code. On several fronts there are people interested in getting involved with proposals for future upgrades.

Forgive me if I don't communicate these ideas very well. I'm not an expert but learning more every day.

There are two goals. One is short-term fixes of problems like the gallery. We may be able to fix with backup files.

Second goal is an overhaul of online, creating a new system and code that is updated and will allow for more features. That is the long-term goal. By long-term I am aiming for later this year if this is what makes the most sense to do.

My support team has been working this weekend and will be giving me a report in the next few days.

I'm sure this is pretty boring and frustrating to many of you but at least the game can still be played. I'm in the trenches now and my goal is for better things to come of this.
