The WWE Title has the history, so that makes it the more prestigious in my eyes... I chuckled when KO stated that he was the "Longest reigning" Universal champion in history... Not saying very much there...  That being said, RAW is really the premier show, and they are probably featuring the Universal Title there to build its perceived value. |

Although the Universal Championship is the one currently on RAW which is the bigger show, since my profession deals with History, I feel the same way as luke929 about the WWE Championship being more prestigious. It is the title that was once held by guys like Sammartino, Backlund, Hogan, Flair, The Rock, Austin, etc. so it has a more established reputation. |

WWE title has Rogers, Sammartino, Hogan, Savage, Warrior, Flair, Bret, Shawn, Undertaker, Austin, Rock, Triple H, Lesnar,, Cena, Batista and the list goes on. The Universal title has Finn Balor and Kevin Owens. There's no sane argument for the red belt being the more prestigious. |

Definitely the World title. If they ever rename the belts "Raw Championship" and "Smackdown Championship", it might be different. But until then it'll always be the World title.
