What they SHOULD do is break the faction into 2, make their war the focus of every show for the next few months and then have them reunite in a finger poke of doom type of incident.

I liked the Bullet Club in New Japan. But in New Japan they had counterparts in Tanahashi, Okada and Nakamura. My problem with it in RoH is they pretty much just wrote the Bucks a blank check to be as obnoxious as humanly possible. Plus Cole and Page stick out like sore thumbs in that group. I liked the original incarnation of the BC when it was just Devitt, Fale, Karl and Tonga. Devitt going nuts and cutting crazy promos was great. Even the 2014 incarnation wasn't so bad compared to now I guess. What they SHOULD do is break the faction into 2, make their war the focus of every show for the next few months and then have them reunite in a finger poke of doom type of incident. So stoked for the Cody/Cole finger poke of doom

It's kind of funny that the only traction they've really gained in the Sinclair era is with Jay Briscoe on top and they seem dead set against having them above the mid-card now.

In fairness they started to get really hot in 2014 when AJ and Hero came back and the New Japan thing first started. Cole was world champion at that point.

Yeah, that is true. I think Jay's reign was kind of a mistake of good luck. They didn't realize he hadn't taken a pinfall for a long time and finally figured out they should probably play that up by the end. Hero's run sucked minus the 1 match though.

The AJ match was incredible live (and on tape too actually) but tbh I'm not shocked the Cole matches turned out how they did. IIRC he had a match with Steen as well. It was more that ROH had an influx of big names alongside all the guys they had built plus the long time guys like the Briscoes plus creative in 2014 was pretty much the best it's been in the SBG era.

The funny thing is, they had guys in the wings when the big names had generated some interest. I think they could have continued the success had they used Lethal's reign to transition the promotion to having Moose, Castle, War Machine and ACH as their main acts. It feels like the fans wanted those guys and Delirious made sure to cool them off in the process.

I think him no-showing ASE vs. Lethal in 2014 screwed him over in the long run which is a shame because their 30:00 draw from TV is one of the best matches of the SBG era and they absolutely could have topped that in a PPV main event setting I think.

I agree. I think it was obvious in 2015 that ACH had really matured as a performer and person. Funny side story, I have his Mii on my 3DS because we Streetpassed at the Austin airport. Never saw him but Streetpassed him.
