Backstage in the locker room of Destruction Incorporated. Magnus Colby has ordered the finest champagne and caviar and his team is living it up.
Except for Thantos.
The Evil Gamemaster sat stone faced in the locker room.
CHAOS: Don't pout, Thantos. You are a part of the team, too. Even though you don't have a title.
THANTOS: Aren't we the comedian. For your information, I am focusing. We have a match tonight.
CHAOS: Big deal. The Titan Express? I'll squash those puny worms by myself!
THANTOS: Look, you arrogant twit! We still have over 20 months of Sudden Death left! Stop the celebration! All of you! We have more work to do if we are going to banish one of Oldmega's sons. And then, when we do. We'll see who doesn't have a title anymore.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Monday Night War Games! Our opening match is set for one fall. These teams feuded for three years! This match was all Freedom Fighters as US Patriot pinned Ghengis Khan following the US Blast!

JIM: First thing I want to say is how great was it to see the Eastern Dynasty lose again. Krakan's cronies have left some bruises on us with sneak attacks but when it comes to wrestling, they just don't measure up!
PULSAR: As for Chaos, you should listen to Thantos. Or better yet, ask your Keepers of the Stone if we are just puny worms too be squashed.
DRAGONMASTER: And after we take care of the Society of Death at Battlezone 94, we are coming to reclaim the Interplanetary Tag Team Titles!
Back in the SOD locker room, Krakan is livid!
KRAKAN: You two are an embarrassment! Letting two boys beat you like that! And you lost to the Titan Express Saturday! Krakan does not lose Sudden Death! Is that understood? Splatter, you better not let me down! Hey! You! Get that camera out of here!
Krakan swings and the screen goes static.
"This match is set for one fall. Introducing first, from parts unknown, weighing in at 276 pounds, being accompanied to the ring by Mutant. Splatter! And his opponent, being led to the ring by Commander Sam, from Ceres, weighing in at 372 pounds. Massif!"
MASSIF w/COMMANDER SAM VS SPLATTER w/MUTANT
Massif dominated this match and brutalized Splatter (4 tokens) and pinned him following the VOLCANIC DROP.

"The big man is focused and ready to face Bounty Hunter at Battlezone 94!"
Backstage in Commissioner Carter's office.
OVERLORD: It's bias! It's unfair! Bishop Hell should have never been forced to take on Destruction 3000. Robotic parts are illegal! And he's not even robotic parts but full 100% robot!
Commissioner Carter and VX laugh at that.
VX: Despite the fact that Bishop Hell himself has illegal synthetic fire, you do have a point. Commissioner Carter. You should have conferred with me first before making that match. As for future matches involving Destruction 3000, I will have a ruling on that next Saturday.
OVERLORD: Ruling? What ruling? You can't allow him to wrestle!
VX: I can do what I want! This is my promotion! I am one law not even Bishop Hell is above. And I alone will decide if he can wrestle or not.
At that moment the Gladiators of Aethra barged into the meeting.
BRUTE: Your ruling better include me getting to rip that bucket of bolts apart next Saturday night! Destruction 3000 doesn't intimidate a Gladiator! And, VX, we are above your law! The only law we are under is Aethran law! And that law is we smash heads. Including those of a robot!

The most impressive match yet by the rookie tag team. Matter got pummeled (6 tokens) and Dreggs pinned him following a deathjump.

Highly competitive bout. Quasar (3 tokens) gave Bounty Hunter fits with his quickness and surprised him with the HIGH ROLLER to get the three count.

Back in the Society of Death locker room, Krakan gravs a chair and throws it against the wall. He turns over a locker and then begins to berate his team as they sit quietly.
KRAKAN: And you guys can't even beat a couple of punks like US Patriot and Vlad Hammer! I hate losing and I especially hate losing to the pathetic Titans and that is exactly what is happening in Sudden Death!
Krakan spins and slaps Mutant and sends Mutant flying across the room.
KRAKAN: Krakan does not lose to Titans! You all better get that through your heads!

This match had fans on the edge of their seats as it went back and forth. Iron Mane and Soldier of Fortune worked as well as a team as the IP Tag Champions did. Eventually, Amazonia's squad wore down both Cannibal (3 tokens) and Chopper Mattock (4 tokens) and SOF finished Chopper off with THE REVENGER.
WINNERS OF THE MATCH: SOLDIER OF FORTUNE AND IRON MANE

Another solid bout that could have gone either way. Actagon (4 tokens) was in the most trouble but it was Lance At-Las who fell to the MEGADESTROYER.

man Pulsar hung on for a bit but the Titans just couldn't get anything built up on The Gamesmaster or the Indestructible one. Thantos is right to be cautious.
next show looks like a lot of the "B" players with Titan Express vs. Above the Law as the big match of the night followed by Galactic Punisher vs. Brute. most the others seem to be heading for easy street

CARTER: We have come to a decision regarding Destruction 3000. It is agreed that Destruction 3000 will not be allowed to wrestle in any matches sanctioned by the GWF!
OVERLORD: Good!
CARTER: However! He can still wrestle in nonsanctioned matches on GWF programming!
OVERLORD: That's not fair!

The Creeper submitted to the MUSCLE RIPPER.

Unhappy with his manager being brutalized, Bounty Hunter hit the ring and clobbered Dreggs and then carried Guile away.

The trap was laid and after a few minutes, Mayhem, Massacre and Spike hit the ring and went after Destruction 3000. The men from W.A.R. were watching, however, and didn't take long to get involved and the show went off the air with an uncontrollable brawl between the Gladiators and W.A.R.

man Pulsar hung on for a bit but the Titans just couldn't get anything built up on The Gamesmaster or the Indestructible one. Thantos is right to be cautious. next show looks like a lot of the "B" players with Titan Express vs. Above the Law as the big match of the night followed by Galactic Punisher vs. Brute. most the others seem to be heading for easy street Sometimes the game table dice just crap all over a show. At least it was a throwaway show before Battlezone 94. And the Brute DQ gave me something to write about. |
