Probably afraid of losing a spot in the Super Bowl rotation in the future.

What a historic day for Las Vegas!
I don't want the NFL to move here and fail, so I hope the Raiders do very well here (except for when they play the Seahawks.)
Speaking of my Seahawks, the Seahawks play the Raiders in their final preseason game every year (it is a condition the NFL agreed to when the Seahawks agreed to move back to the NFC West as the Seahawks wanted to continue playing the Raiders on a regular basis since they were enemies when both teams were in the ACF West.) So soon every other year I will get to see my Seahawks play at least a preseason game here in Las Vegas!

Good move. Should be very exciting. I bet the Chargers feel like shit right now. Nobody cares about them moving to LA. Vegas is a big move for the Raiders.

Good move. Should be very exciting. I bet the Chargers feel like shit right now. Nobody cares about them moving to LA. Vegas is a big move for the Raiders. Completely agree. Vegas stadium should be packed for multiple reasons: - LA is still a huge fanbase for the Raiders, and its only 5 hours away, very doable. - The Raiders are one of the most popular teams in the country, and even if the fanbase in Vegas itself isn't huge its a very easy destination for Raiders fans to get flights and hotels at. - The NFL more than any other sport is a destination fan experience. Fans like to travel to games to see their teams play in different stadiums. Who the hell wouldn't want to see their team play in Vegas? I have been a man without a team for a while now, since Dan Marino retired I have dropped the Dolphins. I have always been a fan of Vegas team, including sporting an Outlaws hat during and after the XFL. I think I may also be throwing my support behind the team. I can't wait to see a game out there in a few years. Then come back for the inevitable Super Bowl and Wrestlemania weekends.

that's funny i know a guy who is a dolphins fan from florida and he lives in vegas now. he's happy the Raiders are coming too. i agree about the l.a. Raiders fans. It's only 8 home games a year so plenty of people will do Vegas for the weekend. I think it makes sense. Plenty of NFL fans travel with their teams already.

This is good news, When Seahawks play Raiders in Vegas, gives me a good reason to go to Vegas (not like you really need one though!) and hopefully catch some wrestling there as well.
Plus, I have hated the Raiders my whole life going back to 1976, pretty much like Vegas described for all Seahawks fans and the rivalry back in those years.
