hypothetical question, in your opinion, for the WWE what would be the better tape library to acquire?

I don't have proof for this but it seems like ROH's fanbase is more rabid and ready to devour their tape library than is TNA's. I could see a boatload of ROH fans signing up for the Network to watch old shows. I don't see that with TNA's fans.

Ha! Only guys I'd want to see from TNA's library would be the ones already in ROH's!

WWE has so many former ROH wrestlers, and it looks like they'll continue to get more. It would be nice for WWE fans that may not be familiar with names like Tyler Black, Kevin Steen, and El Generico to see the matches that brought them to the attention of WWE in the first place.

The thing is a lot of the diehard ROH fans who would want to see the Joe/Danielson era stuff are likely fans who already own those matches on DVD either through the original shows or through comp DVDs. I don't think them adding ROH to the Network would lead to that particular group signing up. It might interest people who only know of those guys from WWE to take a look but the diehards are, probably like a lot of ECW fans, completely fine with their original releases with the original music.

I agree with that but those older DVDs are getting increasingly hard to find. It's very possible that newer ROH fans could have hundreds of shows that they've never seen because they'd have to track down a whole bunch of old DVDs that are out of print.

I agree that the newer ROH fans would be more likely to sub to the Network if they weren't subbed already. The Gabe era shows are in an interesting spot on the secondary market because a lot of the really big shows from that era are found easier than some of the early SBG stuff.
