On Night Two of the Mixed Tag Team Invitational the House of Pain Tag Team Championship Tournament will kick off. All Eight Teams signed to the House of Pain will compete in the Tournament to fill the vacant Championship. I know that Pepper Parks is signed to compete in the Mixed Tag Team Invitational Tournament and he is one half of the tag team TV Ready. Mr. Parks has informed me that he is more then up to the task of competing in both tournaments and I wish him and all other competitors in this years tournament all the best. LIVE FROM THE STAN SHERIFF CENTER in HONOLULU HAWAII FRIDAY JANUARY 4th, 2019 BELL TIME: 7:05PM HST Evie & Travis Banks v Cherry Bomb & Pepper ParksThe "Kiwi Buzzsaw" Travis Banks and Cherry Bomb started his one off for their team and Banks opened this looking to stun Cherry Bomb but she laughed him off and laid out Banks with a Cherry Popper. Cherry then tossed Banks into the corner and caught Banks with a turnbuckle smash before landing a pair of corner knee strikes. Cherry then pulled Banks out of the corner and tossed him off the ropes. Banks rebounded and ducked under a superkick attempt rebounding off the far ropes and catching Cherry Bomb with a running knee strike. Banks then hit the Kiwi Crusher for a near fall on Cherry Bomb before tagging Evie into the ring. The leader of Team Kick climbed to the top rope and caught Cherry Bomb with a top rope double stomp for another quick near fall. After Cherry Bomb kicked out Evie kept up the pressure connecting with numerous kick variations and even hitting a TTYL for a near fall. After Cherry Bomb kicked out Evie hit a pair of cartwheel colthteslines before landing an O'Connor Roll that gave Evie the opening she needed to his a second TTYL. This time Pepper Parks hit the ring and pulled Evie off of Cherry Bomb to break the three count. Evie then blasted Parks with a brutal kick before going for another O'Connor Roll on Cherry Bomb but Cherry rolled through and caught Evie with a chin breaker before tagging Parks into the match. Pepper hit the ring and tossed Evie around the ring with three straight gutwrench powerbombs before hitting a suplex into the corner before going for a cover on Evie. Evie quickly kicked out and Parks caught her with a Pepper Shaker Neck Breaker earning the three count as Cherry Bomb prevented the "Kiwi Buzzsaw" from making the save. After first stunning Gargano with a en eye gouge Steen tossed "Johnny Wrestling" off the ropes and then caught Gargano with a brutal shoulder block before locking Gargano in a sharpshooter. Gargano tried to escape but as he got close to the ropes Steen pulled him back into the center of the ring and reapplied the hold. Steen then released the hold and landed a fisherman buster onto his knee before climbing to the top rope and landing a 450 splash. Steen then landed a sleeperhold suplex before he started to bite Gargano in the face. "Johnny Wrestling" fought him off and Steen tossed him into the corner. As Steen charged in Gargano sidestepped and Steen hit the corner hard. Gargano then went for a running double knee strike only for Steen to lay him out with a superkick. Steen then tagged Courtney Rush into this one and the "Demon Assassin" landed a butterfly suplex before going for a clothesline Gargano ducked under and quickly caught Rush with a Lawn Dart Spear before tossing Rush off the ropes. Rush rebounded and laid out Gargano with a running kick. Rush then connected with a T-bone suplex before hitting the Red Wedding for a near fall. After Gargano kicked out Rush blasted Gargano with the red mist twice before going for a second butterfly suplex. Gargano quickly sprung to his feet and hit a second Lawn Dart Spear and then locked Rush in the Garga-No Escape but Rush quickly fought her way out and Gargano made the tag to Candice LeRae. "Candice Wrestling" hit the ring like a house of fire catching the "Demon Assassin" with a pair of missile dropkicks before landing a moonsault. With the "Demon Assassin" stunned LeRae started to lay into Rush with several chops and forarms but Rush brutally fought back and shocked LeRae with a T-bone suplex before landing the Red Wedding for a near fall. Rush then tagged "Wrestling's Worst Nightmare" who hit the ring and started tossing Candice LeRae around like she was a rag doll. Hitting several sleeperhold suplexes and a pair of F-Cinq's for near falls. After Candice kicked out of the second one Steen blasted LeRae with a pair of powerbomb's on the ring apron before tossing her back into the ring and landing a Package Piledriver going for the pinfall as the "Demon Assassin" prevented "Johnny Wrestling" from making the save giving Rush and Steen the pinfall victory. But Yim and Styles did rally midway thru this one with the "Phenomenal" AJ Styles managing to land the Styles Clash on both Baszler and Riddle for near falls. Late in this one Styles connected with a second Styles Clash on Shayna Baszler only for the "King of Bros" to come off the top rope with a double stomp to break the pinfall. Mia Yim hit the ring and all four competitors started brawling and Matt Riddle managed to blast Styles with a Pele Kick allowing Baszler to make the make the cover as the referee restored order. Styles kicked out a Bazler made the tag to Riddle who caught Styles with the Broton then the Brostroyer going for the cover as Shayna Bazler prevented Mia Yim from making the save giving Riddle and Baszler the pinfall victory in this one. After Athena kicked out once again Martinez landed back to back 3 Amigas going for another cover that saw "Mr. Athletic" Jeff Cobb pull Martinez off of Athena. Martinez then drove Cobb out of the ring with numerous repeated forearms before catching Athena with a Saito suplex. Martinez then landed another brainbuster on Athena before hitting another Fisherman Buster going for the cover as Falcon Jr hit the ring to prevent Jeff Cobb from making the save. Klein quickly kicked out only for Stratus to land the Stratusphere before going for another quick cover. Once again Klein kicked out and "Canada's Greatest Export" tagged in "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin. Elgin hit the ring and tossed Klein around the ring landing a pair of Buckle Bombs before locking Klein in the crossface and holding the "Pretty Badass" in the hold for several minutes before releasing it and blasting Klein with back to back spinning backfists before landing an Elgin Bomb. Roderick Strong made the save and Elgin tagged Trish Stratus back into this one. "Canada's Greatest Export" kept the pressure up on Klein catching the "Pretty Badsass" with a pair of Chick Kicks and spinebusters before landing the Air Canada. With Klein reeling Stratus connected with Stratusfaction earning the pinfall victory as Michael Elgin prevented Roderick Strong from making the save. El Generico then tagged in the "Hot Mess" and Chelsea Green immediately connected with a curb stomp before going for a huracanrana but Kraven blocked it and landed a choke bomb on Green before hitting the Sitout Powerbomb for a near fall. After Green kicked out Kraven made the tag to King Kong Bundy who reluctantly entered the ring and stomped Green in the head several times before locking the "Hot Mess" in a bear hug and holding her in the hold for a couple of minutes before landing a backbreaker and tagging Kraven back into the match. Kraven then tried to choke Green using the ropes but Green fought her off and caught Kraven with a drop toe hold. Chelsea Green then tied to lock the "Mountain" in an armbar but Kraven powered out and nearly took Green's head off with standing clothesline. Kraven then tossed Green out of the ring and as she followed the "Hot Mess" out of the ring Green recovered and tossed Kraven into the steel barricade to earn a warning from the referee. Green then climbed back into the ring and tagged in El Generico and the masked man caught Kraven with a suicide dive before landing the Spike Brainbuster for another near fall on the "Mountain." After Kraven kicked out El Generico climbed to the top rope and hit a 450 Splash to earn the pinfall victory as King Kong Bundy instead of making the save climbed off the ring apron and left the ringside area giving El Generico and Chelsea Green the victory in this match. WINNERS: "Hot Mess" Chelsea Green & "Generic Luchardor" El Generico via pinfall at the 14:31 markChelsea Green & El Generico advance to the Second Round of the Mixed Tag Team InvitationalMadison Eagles & Brett Johnson v Madison Rayne & Kenny Omega"Crimson Dragon" Brett Johnson and "Queen Bee" Madison Rayne started this one off for their teams and Madison Rayne took the fight right to the "Crimson Dragon" catching him with a dropkick to open the match and then catching Johnson with a facebreaker knee smash. Rayne then caught Johnson with a Northern Lights suplex and then landed the Rayne Check for a near fall. After Johnson kicked out Rayne landed a diving spear before trying to choke Johnson out with her boot but the "Crimson Dragon" fought her off and caught Rayne with a wicked right hand. Johnson then went for a deep armdrag but Rayne rolled thru and stunned Johnson with a swinging neckbreaker. Rayne then caught Johnson with a boot to the side of the head for another near fall. After Johnson once again kicked out the "Queen Bee" made the tag to the "Cleaner" who hit the ring and immediately earned another near fall on the "Crimson Dragon" with the V-Trigger. After Johnson once again kicked out Kenny Omega hit the One Winged Angel and Johnson just barely got his shoulder up. The "Cleaner" then hit a second V-Trigger and Johnson once again kicked out. Omega in frustration kicked Johnson out of the ring. That gave Johnson the opening he needed to mount a comeback as he pulled Omega out of the ring and caught the "Cleaner" with a powerbomb on the arena floor. Johnson then rolled Omega back into the ring and made the tag to the "Punisher" Madison Eagles who entered the ring for the first time. Eagles caught the "Cleaner" with a roundhouse kick before landing the Hell Bound for a near fall. After Omega kicked out Eagles caught him with a brainbuster before going for back kick. Omega blocked it and caught Eagles with the Tokyo Chainsaw Massacre before catching the "Punisher" with the One Winged Angel. Eagles somehow got her shoulder up and Omega tagged Madison Rayne back into this one and Rayne climbed to the top rope and caught Eagles with a cross body block for a near fall. Rayne then landed the Rayne Check on Eagles and as she went for the cover Omega prevented Johnson making the save giving Rayne and Omega the pinfall victory in this one. WINNERS: "Queen Bee" Madison Rayne & "Cleaner" Kenny Omega via pinfall at the 18:46 markMadison Rayne & Kenny Omega advance to the Second Round of the Mixed Tag Team InvitationalTessa & Tully Blanchard v Rhia O'Reilly & Pete DunneThis one started with Tully Blanchard and Rhia O'Reilly locking up and after a few moments Blanchard backed off and offered a handshake which O'Reilly reluctantly accepted. Blanchard then pulled O'Reilly to the mat by her hair before catching O'Reilly with a dropkick. Tully kept up the pressure locking on an armbar and landing a body slam before picking up the first near fall of the match with a piledriver. After O'Reilly kicked out Blanchard tossed her out of the ring and as O'Reilly tried to recover Tully went to his corner behind the referee's back where Tessa handed her father a pair of brass knuckles. As O'Reilly got back into the ring Tully caught her twice with the brass knuckles going for another cover but O'Reilly somehow kicked out. Tully then caught O'Reilly with the Slingshot Suplex and shockingly once again O'Reilly kicked out. Tully then tagged in his daughter Tessa who hit the ring and caught O'Reilly with a trapped leg Codebreaker before planting O'Reilly in the center of the ring with a short-arm clothesline. Tessa Blanchard then connected with her Double Knee Facebuster going for the pinfall as Tully prevented the "Bruiserweight" from making the save as the father and daughter team picked up the pinfall victory. Upset....Green and Generico. Favorite match was the main event. I have to agree that Generico/Green beating Kraven/Bundy was the biggest upset of the tournament so far. I was really expecting Bundy/Kraven to go far in the tournament. I think I also played Bundy perfectly in that match as a reluctant participant in the tournament. I am hoping to get night two started tonight at work and will hopefully get it posted within the next few nights.

I have two matches left to play on Night Two of the Mixed Tag Team Invitational. The show was split into two parts, the first part was the opening round of the tournament to crown the NEW House of Pain Tag Team Champions. The second half of the show was the second round of the Mixed Tag Team Invitational Tournament. The way I played it out in my head was in between the two shows would be be the intermission. I really hope you all enjoy how the show was laid out and enjoy the two tournaments as they ramp up into their Semi-Final Rounds. I should have the show posted at some point late Tuesday Night or Early Wednesday Morning

LIVE FROM THE STAN SHERIFF CENTER in HONOLULU HAWAII SATURDAY JANUARY 5th, 2019 BELL TIME: 7:05PM HST TV Ready (BLK Jeez & Pepper Parks) v Mustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate)Pepper Parks and Tyler Bate started this one off for their teams and within the opening couple of minutes Tyler Bate nearly picked up the victory when he caught Parks with the Tiger Driver '97. After Parks kicked out Bate tagged in Trent Seven for the first time and Mustache Mountain connected with the Summit for another near fall. Parks once again kicked out and Tyler Bate then went for a deadlift powerbomb, but Parks fought Bate off and landed a gutwrench powerbomb to turn things around. Parks then landed the Pepper Shaker Neck Breaker for a near fall before tagging BLK Jeez into the match for the first time. Shortly after BLK Jeez hit the ring this one started going back and forth for the next several minutes as both teams made multiple tags to try and keep the momentum on there teams side. In the end BLK Jeez first caught Tyler Bate with the BLK Jeez Walks for a near fall, after Bate once again kicked out BLK Jeez went for a somersault plancha only for Bate to get his knees up. Bate then tagged Seven back into the match and Mustache Mountain connected with the Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow before Seven tagged Bate back in right away for the Stiff Upper Lip. After hitting a pair of Bob 'n' Bangs Bate tagged Seven back into the ring and Seven landed the Seven Stars Lariat for a near fall. After BLK Jeez kicked out Seven caught him with a suicide dive before connecting with the Seven Bells going for the pinfall as Tyler Bate prevented Pepper Parks from making the save giving Mustache Mountain the pinfall victory. WINNERS: Mustache Mountain via pinfall at the 25:52 markMustache Mountain advance to the Semi-Final Round of the House of Pain Tag Team Championship TournamentMilk Chocolate (Brandon Watts & Randy Summers) v N R G (Hype Rockwell & Race Jaxon)The "Generator" Race Jaxon and Randy Summers started this one off with for their teams and after some great back and forth action where neither man could land a move Race Jaxon ducked under a superkick and landed a wicked dropkick. Jaxon then connected with the Energizer before tagging in Hype Rockwell for the double hiptoss into elbow drop combination. Hype Rockwell then went for a spinebuster but Randy Summers blocked it and went for a snap mare. Rockwell rolled thru and as Summers got close Rockwell shocked him with a tilt-a-whirl power slam. Summers rolled out of the ring and Hype Rockwell went for a rolling senton off the apron, but Summers rolled out of the way. Randy Summers then landed a dropkick to Rockwell' sternum before finally tagging Brandon Watts into this one. Watts kept up the pressure landing a standing moonsault before stunning Rockwell with a leaping enzuigiri. Watts then connected a flying elbow before hitting a big dropkick and then landing a DDT. Watts then climbed to the top rope but Rockwell recovered and tossed Watts back into the ring with a leaping arm drag. Rockwell then tagged Jaxon back into this one and N R G caught Watts with a double flapjack. As N R G took a moment to celebrate Watts made the tag to Summers who stunned Jaxon with several repeated forearms before landing a discus lariat. Summers then landed a Death Valley Driver that saw Jaxon roll to the arena floor trying to gain some sort of separation, but Summers kept up the pressure landing a second Death Valley Driver on the arena floor. The "Generator" struggled to get back into the ring before the referee's ten count only for Summer to tag in Watts for the Chocolate Kiss. Watts then went for a flying elbow only for Jaxon to roll out of the way. The "Generator" then landed a flying headscissors before tagging in Rockwell for the NRG Launch Board. Rockwell then tagged Jaxon back into the ring for the Complete Shot before N R G hit the Superkick into Hyperwheel combination to earn the pinfall victory in this one. Using rapid tags Detective's Dan Barry and Bill Carr connected with assisted flipping senton, a pair of 10-80's and the snap suplex into leg drop combination before landing the Book 'Em Danno for a near fall. After Silver kicked out Dan Barry hit a Shooting Star Press before tagging in Bill Carr for a third 10-80. Team Tremendous then hit a second Book 'Em Danno and Alex Reynolds tried to make the save only to be stopped by Bill Carr. John Silver kicked out and "Detective" Dan Barry went for an implant DDT but Silver blocked it and quickly tagged in Reynolds for Dat Crazy Combo leading to a quick near fall in favor of the Beaver Boys. After Barry kicked out Reynolds tagged Silver back into this one and the Beaver Boys connected with the Double Penetration to earn the shocking pinfall victory in this one. CW sprung back to his feet and Taylor tossed CW Anderson into the corner. As Taylor charged in CW sidestepped out of the way and Taylor caught hit the ring post going for a shoulder block. Taylor then slumped out of the ring as CW went to follow Taylor out "Too Hot" grabbed the Anderson and tossed drove CW head first into the ring post earning a warning from the referee. Taylor then rolled CW Anderson back into the ring and landed the Worm for a near fall. After CW Anderson kicked out Taylor made the tag to "Grand Master Sexay" Brian Christopher who climbed to the top rope and caught CW with the Hip Hop Drop for another quick near fall. After Anderson kicked out of the Hip Hop Drop Brian Christopher climbed to the top rope and hit a second one. This time as "Grand Master Sexay" made the cover "Too Hot" Scott Taylor prevented Arn Anderson from making the save giving Too Cool the shockingly quick victory in this one. El Generico then tossed Stratus into the corner and Stratus rebounded out and both she and Generico collided hard in the center of the ring. El Generico just barely got to his feet and went for a 450 splash but Stratus rolled out of the way. "Canada's Grestest Export" then landed a handstand spinning head scissors before tossing El Generico off the ropes and laying out the "Generic Luchador" with a brutal kick to the head. Stratus then landed a spinebuster before tagging in "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin. Elgin hit the ring and caught Generico with the Elgin Bomb to pick up the pinfall victory in this one. Tessa then landed a back suplex and then proceeded to try and take the masked man's head off with several straight short-arm clotheslines leading to the first near fall of the match. After Falcon Jr kicked out Tessa Blanchard caught him with her trapped leg Codebreaker before hitting a pair of senton bombs for another near fall. After Falcon Jr kicked out a second time Tessa made the tag to her father Tully. For the next several minutes Tully absolutely destroyed Falcon Jr hitting the masked man with a foreign object he kept pulling from his tights after a few shots you could see blood pouring from under the young mans mask. Tully then hit his trademark Slingshot Suplex only for Mercedes Martinez to make the save, but she was unable to help her partner get enough separation to make the defensive tag. Tully then climbed to the top rope and caught Falcon Jr with a diving axe handle before tagging Tessa back into this one. The younger Blanchard kept up the pressure on Falcon Jr with another senton bomb before hitting the Double Knee Facebreaker only for Martinez to once again make the save. Tessa then hit the trapped leg Codebreaker before landing a brutal hammerlock DDT to give her and her father the pinfall victory in this one. Following the match the "Latina Sensation" helped her partner back to his feet before nailing him with the 3 Amigas then a pair of Fisherman Busters before rolling out of the ring dusting her shoulder off. WINNERS: Tully & Tessa Blanchard via pinfall at the 23:49 markTully & Tessa Blanchard advance to the Semi-Final Round of the Mixed Tag Team InvitationalPepper Parks & Cherry Bomb v Matt Riddle & Shayna BaszlerCherry Bomb and Matt Riddle started this one off for their teams and Cherry caught Riddle with a Thesz Press to open this one. Cherry Bomb then tossed the "King of Bros" into the corner and as she charged in after Riddle she was caught with a boot to the face. Riddle then caught the stunned Cherry Bomb with the Broton before hitting a Pele kick. Riddle then landed the rolling gut wrench suplexes leading to the first near fall of the match. After Cherry kicked out Riddle climbed to the top rope, but Cherry recovered and brought Riddle back to the mat with a brutal top rope belly to belly suplex. Cherry then landed the Heads Up that sent Riddle stumbling into the corner. Cherry Bomb charged in looking to hit a corner knee strike but Riddle rolled out of the way and made the defensive tag to Shayna Baszler. Baszler hit the ring and flat out slapped Cherry Bomb hard across the face before catching the stunned Cherry Bomb with a gut wrench suplex. With Cherry on the mat Baszler locked on an ankle lock and Cherry Bomb quickly fought to the ropes to force the break. As soon as the "Queen of Spades" released the hold Cherry rolled out of the ring and as Baszler followed her out Cherry caught the "Queen of Spades" with wicked superkick. Cherry then climbed back into the ring and tagged in Pepper Parks. Parks hit the ring and went for a scoop powerslam but Baszler fought him off. Baszler then took Parks over with a gut wrench suplex before tagging Matt Riddle back into the ring. Riddle kept Parks on the defensive for the next several minutes earning near falls with both the Bro 2 Sleep and Brostone. Following the Brostone Cherry Bomb made the save and Matt Riddle tagged Baszler back into the match. The "Queen of Spades" kept Parks on the mat and transitioned between the Knee Bar and Arm Bar until Parks finally tapped out to the Knee Bar to give Baszler and Riddle the submission victory in this one. "Wrestling's Worst Nightmare" then grabbed Rayne and landed the F-Cinq for a near fall. After Rayne tagged out Steen tagged in the "Demon Assassin" who immediately caught Rayne with the Red Wedding for another near fall. Rush then blasted Rayne in the face with her mist before hitting a second Red Wedding. Once again Madison Rayne got her shoulder off the mat only for the "Demon Assassin" to once again spit mist in her face. Rush then hit a pair of T-bone suplexes and a fallaway slam before she tagged Steen back into the ring. "Wrestling's Worst Nightmare" then tried to toss Rayne into the corner but Rayne reversed it. As she charged in after after Steen she found herself on the receiving end of wick back elbow before Steen powered her over with a fisherman buster onto his knee. Steen then dragged Rayne out of the ring to deliver a brutal powerbomb on the ring apron before tossing Rayne back into the ring. Steen then hit a second F-Cinq and made the cover as the "Demon Assassin" prevented the "Cleaner" from making the save by blasting him in the face even more mist.
