A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hello everybody, hope all is good!
This league is comprised of 48 Legends wrestlers - who have also been paired into 24 tag teams.
They will be competing for three titles in this - World Champion, World Tag Team Champions and Intercontinental Champion.
The roster and the teams they are on are as follows:
The Sheik & Bruiser Brody Giant Baba & Jimmy Snuka. Rob Van Dam & Sabu. Lou Thesz & Strangler Lewis. Mil Mascaras & The Destroyer. Rikidozan & Antonio Inoki.
The Road Warriors - Hawk & Animal. The Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff. Mr. Fuji & The Masked Superstar. Buddy Rogers & Gorgeous George. Frank Gotch & George Hackenschmidt. Harley Race & Nick Bockwinkel. Johnny Rodz & Andre The Giant. Roddy Piper & Cowboy Bob Orton. The Sandman & Dan Severn. Kevin Sullivan & One Man Gang. Ted Dibiase & King Kong Bundy. The Valiants - Jimmy & Johnny. Tommy Rich & Blackjack Mulligan. The Killer Bees - Brunzell & Blair. The Valentines - Johnny & Greg. S.D. Jones & Yukon Eric. William Muldoon & Jim Londos. Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons.
I'm calling this a league instead of a fed because I'm going to have all of the wrestlers compete an equal amount of times as well as use ratings points to track their standings to determine the title contenders. The wrestlers earn their own title shots.
A match that ends in a disqualification becomes the first match in a best of three match feud, the object being to win two out of the three matches, thereby settling the feud. The second match is worth double ratings points and the third and tie breaking match (if necessary) is worth triple ratings points. (The second and third matches are also no disqualification matches).
Each game month will consist of 12 short cards comprising of (2) singles matches and (1) tag team match. Starting with the second game month, the first card of each month will consist only of title matches - all three titles defended against the highest currently rated wrestlers as of the end of the prior month. Over the course of the month every wrestler and team will wrestle exactly once.
At the end of each game month, I will list all the standings in both the singles and tag team divisions, denoting the contenders who earned the title shots as well as the status of any feudes in progress.
The ratings points awarded to the winners of a a match (and subsequently - the same number of ratings points subtracted from the losers) equals 25 points, minus every non Add 1 move token accumulated between all the wrestlers or teams involved during the course of the match. This ratings point number is doubled if it's a clean win.
(The bookings are randomly determined).
I really hope we all enjoy!
Take care everybody!
Bri
P. S. - Just a note on Andre the Giant - Since Andre was usually more of an attraction than a title contender, the only title he is going to pursue in the league are the tag belts with his partner Johnny Rodz. (Even if as a singles wrestler, he is leading the pack in ratings points). He is going to be a challenge wrestler for the singles division. Anyone who beats him one on one gets double ratings points.

Looks like an awesome roster to kick things off, my friend... Can't wait to see RVD & Sabu in action... And I think using Andre as a special attraction is a fine choice... But, things might change as his legacy within your fed continues to grow... Just ask cruefan68 - Just how long can you avoid giving an undefeated superstar a shot at the top prize? The Sheik & Bruiser Brody teaming up on the first card... Holy snap!

I know what you mean about Andre - that was the toughest decision so far with the idea of this league. Although he will be pursuing the tag belts, that's true, if his numbers start to pull away from the pack I may have to let that happen. More to follow. Once again - cannot thank you enough brother!

Month 1 Card 1 - Match Results:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jimmy Valiant vs Andre the Giant:
Andre the Giant pins Jimmy Valiant via his BIG SPLASH finisher...
After back and forth match at first, Andre quickly ended the contest with a ring and rope shaking Body Slam that set up his paralyzing finisher for the three count.
Andre the Giant - Rating = ( + 50 ) Jimmy Valiant - Rating = ( - 50 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Giant Baba & Jimmy Snuka vs The Sheik & Bruiser Brody:
Giant Baba pins The Sheik via his NECKBREAKER DROP finisher...
Showing good tag efficiency as well as some very unexpected restraint, these two teams got the tag division off to a good start. After Bruiser Brody almost pinned Jimmy Snuka via a savage One Hand Body Slam and cover, Snuka made a hot tag out to Giant Baba that turned the tide. Baba ultimately pinned The Sheik as Snuka Shoulder Blocked an advancing Brody just long enough to keep him out of the picture.
Baba & Snuka - Rating = ( + 46 ) Brody & The Sheik - Rating = ( - 46 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mr. Fuji vs The Destroyer:
Mr. Fuji submits to The Destroyer and his FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK finisher...
The Destroyer never stopped applying the pressure figuratively and literally in this match as he was relentless on offense. To Mr. Fuji's credit, he didn't tap out until the fourth time The Destroyer applied his finisher.
The Destroyer - Rating = ( + 44 ) Mr. Fuji - Rating = ( - 44 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Month 1 Card 2 - Match Announcements:
Johnny Rodz vs The Iron Sheik
William Muldoon & Jim Londos vs Rob Van Dam & Sabu
Ted Dibiase vs Greg Valentine

What a great concept for a fed and I like how you are using Andre the Giant, especially with him being paired with Johnny Rodz. I will definitely be following along and I enjoyed that opening card, especially the tag match with Giant Baba & Jimmy Snuka beating The Sheik & Bruiser Brody. Those are some great teams you have put together, I especially like Gotch and Hackenschmidt pairing. I think they will be very tough to beat.

Month 1 Card 2 - Match Results:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Johnny Rodz vs The Iron Sheik:
The Iron Sheik defeats Johnny Rodz via a Piledriver outside the ring that leads to Rodz being counted out...
Johnny Rodz, for a while, controlled a good portion of the offense, culminating in a combo of him blasting the Iron Sheiks head into the ring steps, setting up his Unpredictable Slam. In order to upset the upset, The Iron Sheik countered by launching Rodz in a rage out of the ring and Piledrived him onto the concrete arena floor. Rodz was in too much pain to make it to his feet after repeated attempts.
The Iron Sheik - Rating = ( + 48 ) Johnny Rodz - Rating = ( - 48 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
William Muldoon & Jim Londos vs Rob Van Dam & Sabu:
William Muldoon & Jim Londos defeat Rob Van Dam & Sabu via disqualification, Van Dam executed his Van Daminator on Muldoon...
A match largely controlled offensively by Van Dam and Sabu, they concentrated their efforts on keeping Jim Londos inside the ring and William Muldoon out of it. Once Londos was able to tag out, Van Dam dominated Muldoon for sometime. After many kick outs by Muldoon, Van Dam snapped and despite warnings from the ref, blatantly exectuted his Van Daminator.
Muldoon & Londos - Rating = ( + 21 ) Van Dam & Sabu - Rating = ( - 21 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ted Dibiase vs Greg Valentine:
Ted Dibiase defeats Greg Valentine via disqualification, Valentine Powerslammed Dibiase through a ringside table...
These two tore into each other from the second the bell sounded and was fought just as much outside the ring as it was inside. After Valentine busted open Dibiase's forehead on the top of the ring post and had him down for a 2 & 1/2 count after his Valentine Chops, he couldn't help himself and just went too far.
Ted Dibiase - Rating = ( + 24 ) Greg Valentine - Rating = ( - 24 )
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Month 1 Card 3 - Match Announcements:
King Kong Bundy vs Tommy Rich
Jimmy Valiant & Johnny Valiant vs B. Brian Blair & Jim Brunzell
Nikolai Volkoff vs Antonio Inoki

I really needed to get back to the way I used to always play, even before I joined this awesome community. Very glad you are digging this so far. I thought about the elephant in the room for a while and figured If I am going to use Andre, maybe this would be an intetesting solution. I see Rodz and Andre as David and Goliath but on the same team. I agree about Gotch and Hackenschmidt - they sound in theory pretty solid. I am a huge fan of both of them and I hope they rock the division. Many thanks again my friend!

Calling foul on that second tag team but right now... What's the matter, ref? If a little chairshot like that is too much for your sensibilities, perhaps you need to find a new line of work... Brilliant start to the fun, my friend... Keep on rollin'!
