------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ A League of Extraordinary Gentlemen... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Reboot Post No 0000009
"I'm interested in that thing that happens...where there's a breaking point for some people...and not for others...you go through such hardship...things are almost impossibly difficult...and there's no sign that it's going to get any better...and that's the point when people quit...but some don't”...
- Robert Redford...
LXG Commissioner - Charlie Cox... LXG TV Announcer - Johnny Fairplay... LXG Ring Announcer - Gary Michael Capetta... LXG Referee - Bryce Remsburg...
Current Champions: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
LXG Super Heavyweight Champion - TBD:
LXG Heavyweight Champion - Adam Pearce (With Larry Sweeney) - 3 victories in total.
LXG Light Heavyweight Champion - Antonino Rocca - 4 victories and counting.
LXG Tag Team Champions - Kyle O'Reilly & Bobby Fish / Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff - Both have 2 victories and counting.
LXG Ladies Champion - Amanda The Relentless - 3 victories and counting.
Tonight's Results - Inside The Ring: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪ Antonino Rocca (0 Fatigue) defeated The Unpredictable Johnny Rodz (0 Fatigue) via Submission - Rodz submitted to Rocca's increasingly dangerous Crushing Body Scissors maneuver at the 1:00 minute mark...Rodz couldn't land one offensive move - Rocca dispatched him quickly and has become the first wrestler to hit 5 wins...
▪ Overtime (3 Fatigues) defeated The French Angel Maurice Tillet (5 Fatigues) via Pinfall - Overtime pinned Tillet after a crowd electrifying execution of his OVERTIME RULES finisher (A Springboard Moonsault With Both Knees To The Opponents Chest) at the 24:00 minute mark...The Angel put up a determined effort - but Overtimes finisher just took too much out of him...
▪ The Natives - Krud (1 Fatigues) & Ygorr (0 Fatigue) defeated The Foreign Legion - The Iron Sheik (0 Fatigue, 1 Botched Pin Save) & Nikolai Volkoff (1 Fatigue) via Pinfall - Krud pinned Volkoff after his deceptively effective Turnbuckle Smash maneuver...as Ygorr tripped up Sheik face first straight into the canvas...driving the crowd to absolutely erupt...at the 6:00 minute mark...Moog & Sentinel arrived in support of The Natives to make sure that Sheik & Volkoff left the ringside area - they did...
▪ Amanda The Relentless (aka Assassin A) (0 Fatigue, Raked Moretti's Face Across Cage, 1 Deathjump From The Top of Cage) defeated Tina Moretti (7 Fatigues, Prevented Amanda Once From Climbing Out of Cage By Hurling Her Back Down Onto The Canvas From The Inside Cage Wall) via Escaping The Cage - Amanda escaped the cage after executing a punnishing version of her ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT secondary finisher (A Springboard Back Brain Kick) at the 21:00 minute mark...Moretti had intentionally started this feud once she saw how much of a problem Amanda was going to be - but was hoping for any kind of special match other...than a steel cage bout...
▪ The Original Sheik (5 Fatigues, Escaped 1 Opponents Finisher Attempt) With Abdullah Farouk (2 Submission Distractions) defeated Skull (5 Fatigues) via Submission - Skull submitted to Sheiks particularly maniacal execution of his CAMEL CLUTCH secondary finisher at the 30:00 minute mark...The Skull's psychologically damaging aspect of his COMPRESSION finisher impacted The Sheik by making him more desperate to win - both Farouk and The Sheik knew that if they didn't get him with this Camel Clutch...then they were going to lose this one...
▪ The Road Warriors - Hawk (8 Fatigues, Won 1 Ringside Brawl, Won 1 Mid Ring Collision) & Animal (0 Fatigue, 1 Pin Save) With Paul Ellering (1 Submission Distraction) defeated Valentine Massacre - Johnny Valentine (8 Fatigues) & Greg Valentine (0 Fatigue, Powerslammed Hawk Through Announcers Table, 1 Pin Save, 1 Botched Pin Save) via Pinfall - Hawk pinned Johnny after a demonstrative and ring shaking Gorilla Press Slam maneuver...and Animal Speared Greg Off of His Feet And Horizontally Into The Turnbuckle at the 48:00 minute mark...a colossal match that ultimately boiled down to the fact that Hawk just wouldn't let Greg's FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK decide this one - and it didn't...
▪ Wolf (0 Fatigue) defeated King of Hardcore (3 Fatigues) via Pinfall - Wolf pinned Hardcore after an intense Predator Piledriver maneuver at the 9:00 minute mark...post match...Wolf perched himself upon the top rope...and led the entire crowd - as they all howled in unison into the neon night...AAOOOOWWWWW...
▪ One Man Gang (0 Fatigue, 1 Near Brawling Disqualification) defeated Blackjack Mulligan (1 Fatigue, Won 1 Ringside Brawl, 1 Near Brawling Disqualification) via Pinfall - Gang pinned Mulligan after his Big Right Hand maneuver...had knocked Mulligan unconscious at the 6:00 minute mark...Mulligan needed to be revived after the count and told that he had lost - "At least a minute ago"...by referee Remsburg...he made sure to revive Mulligan from at least arms length away from him...
Tonight's Results - Outside The Ring: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪ Hector The Holy Brown Bear, with some influential people in tow, spoke with Hizzoner The Mayor of The City of New York - arranged for Black Death Endgame to be released from jail and into Hector's custody...
▪ Afghanistan Bananastan had to pay for the repairs to their buildings lobby and their apartment, but vowed to make it up to their landlord in spades.
▪ Multiple lawsuits have been filed against The LXG for personal damages and PTSD from "The Taking of Pelham 124". The most egregious suit was a class action suit filed by none other than former World Wide Empire Owner Wince McCan't, (who wasn't even in the state when it happened).
▪ In addition to a creation of Light Heavyweight & Super Heavyweight Divisions, there is now a vast influx of competitors streaming towards The LXG, from too many different promotions to count.
▪ Back at Apartment 4D, Afghanistan Bananastan circled the wagons, ate massive amounts of Chinese food and had a very solid impromptu group therapy session.
▪ Sundance said it best for the team when he helped lift the mood and rile up the group by saying that:
Sundance - When life kicks us...then we kick it back...
▪ Due to widespread public demand and political pressures, Black Death Endgame has been signed to the LXG...
▪ When LXG Booker Ms. Lady Luck was approached by Endgame to arrange a specific match, she said:
Ms. Lady Luck - I say...if and when...you get lucky...Wolf's turn...is in the main event tomorrow night...
Screwed: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪ LXG TV Announcer Johnny Fairplay ran a small interview segment introducing the host of The LXG's new interview / talk show "Screwed", none other than the former Aethran Prisoner And Gladiator Screw.
▪ Screw assured Johnny and the viewers that he will be getting the whole truth out of his guests, even if he has to, "Tune them all up to do so"...
New Tournament Series: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
▪ The LXG finds itself under pressure to determine a way for the wrestlers who have competed in The LXG, but whose careers have come to an abrupt end - due to them not obtaining at least 1 clean victory - to make a comeback.
▪ LXG Commissioner Charlie Cox (aka Triple C) will be instituting a new periodic tournament pay per view series wherein 4 ladies, 4 tag teams and 8 men will compete in three single elimination tournaments over the course of the same night.
▪ All three tournament winners will be given a final chance to rewrite their own LXG career histories.
▪ But the others are permanently out of The LXG. Two strikes & yer out.
▪ The participants in the first of these, "Win To Get Back In", tournaments, will be the guests on various upcoming segments of "Screwed" - starting with Reboot Post 0000010.

What a monster upset by the Natives... Can they repeat that performance against Marcus Colby & Davey Boy Smith? Unlikely... But, I'll enjoy finding out.
Johnny Fairplay is a truly awesome host for a talk segment... Wonder what the chances are of him being released online someday... Fun times in the LXG, my friend... As always!

I have to agree with Pariah that is a huge upset for the Natives against The Foreign Legion! No big surprises that the Road Warriors beat Valentine Massacre. I think the Killer Bees will run into the same fate as Valentine Massacre.

I loved the victory by The Sheik over Skull. Who is King of Hardcore? A GWF character? Also, I recently brought Jonny Fairplay back into my fed so very cool to see him show up in yours. It should be fun to see what trouble he stirs up.
Strange days have found us Strange days have tracked us down They're going to destroy Our casual joys We shall go on playing Or find a new town
An excerpt from Strange Days by The Doors, a fitting track for LXG.

Of all the feds being posted, I truly believe the LXG is most deserving of a unique soundtrack... Here is my contribution... there's a secret i've learned so many lives hold their lessons in turn just like a fire consumes what it burns my desire for her is strong
she comes like a wave when she dances beneath me she says if i would only just taste her tonight then my fight with the night would be over
and the light seems to bend when this darkness descends on my soul is it strange i can see through the veil when i lose all control
show me when this darkness descends please show me when this darkness descends luxuriaSaid it before, but it bears repeating... For anyone who enjoys The Doors and/or Led Zeppelin, you must check out The Tea Party... What are you waiting for? GO! NOW! LISTEN!

I really appreciate what you said here brother - you're enthusiasm is like pure adrenaline for The LXG, for real. After the result of The Natives vs The Foreign Legion...I literally sat there and stared at the cards, the dice and the charts for about 60 seconds and then said out loud to nobody...yeah that just happened! Top ten best result so far in this games history for me. Wolf & Sheik continue on their winning ways, but The Sheik just barely won...Skull got within a hair of the rope to force a break. I'm slowly tweaking the fed as I go and the Screwjob chart that you so graciously created for me, will now be in effect with Post 0000010 (coming up to the boards soon) until further notice. I can honestly say that this upcoming show breaks different ground. I truly hope it's an entertaining read. And many many thanks for being a part of The LXG!

Snap To The Z formation for The Natives! I know what you mean - we will be finding out soon on if they can continue on their winning ways, Moog insisted on being in their corner for their bout vs New Money. I'm looking forward to having Johnny Fairplay slowly take more of a role in the precedings - he has convinced The LXG to let Screw take over the talk show segment...for the record...Fairplay has claimed that rumors of Screw intimidating him to make it happen...are strictly rumor... I truly hope Fairplay is released online - I wouldn't put anything past the powers that be with this game to make that happen! One day I hope we can all say that "We need to talk about Bruno". Thank you once again mi gumba for being in the seats and a part of The LXG!

I have to agree with Pariah that is a huge upset for the Natives against The Foreign Legion! No big surprises that the Road Warriors beat Valentine Massacre. I think the Killer Bees will run into the same fate as Valentine Massacre. Mornin brother Crossbones ! Amen to that - I've always wanted to book a match with The Natives (I'm not sure if I've ever had a match with them before), but I was at first in shock and then totally psyched that they won. I am hoping they can keep the 1 in a row streak going! I figured The Road Warriors were going to be victorious vs The Valentines. With this format (of Ms. Lady Luck booking the individual match ups), the wrestlers really need to beat the competition - that they should beat, to stay in. (I'm still bummed that Adam Pearce came back from behind to beat Bob Backlund on our first Reboot Era card) I'm definitely pulling for The Roadies to build a rock solid career here, one clean loss and they're done. So fingers crossed! Starting with Post 0000011, there will be a few dark matches added to the card to kick off the experience for the live crowd. I'm jazzed with this card because one of those dark matches will feature the debut of Kurt Angle. A thousand thank you's brother!
