Oh, snap... Looks like I've got some catching up to do... Favorite 5 songs by The Doors: - Five To One - Soul Kitchen - Break On Through - L.A. Woman - The End Favorite 5 Led Zeppelin Songs: - Immigrant Song - When The Levee Breaks - Kashmir - Rock And Roll - Over The Hills And Far Away In all fairness, Roadhouse Blues and Stairway To Heaven should both receive honorable mentions in their respective lists... However, playing in cover bands for over a decade makes it difficult for me to appreciate either of these songs... The same can be said about Hotel California and Sweet Home Alabama.Favorite 5 Elvis songs: - Suspicious Minds - Can't Help Falling In Love (greatest ballad of all-time) - Jailhouse Rock - All Shook Up - Love Me Tender Keep 'em coming, my friends... I certainly will!

More awesome picks Pariah and markoda. Pariah, your number two and five Zeppelin picks came so close to making my list. I will join Markoda in adding my Beatles picks plus I will throw Jimi Hendrix into the mix. The Beatles 1. Revolution 2. The Long and Winding Road 3. Yesterday 4. Here Comes the Sun 5. In My Life Jimi Hendrix 1. Voodoo Child 2. Foxy Lady 3. Dolly Dagger 4. Purple Haze 5. Hey Joe So many songs, so few spaces! On a side note it is very cool to hear about the musical backgrounds of our own joebreakdown and Pariah. I think Joe once mentioned performing on the same festival as Michael Monroe, now that is cool in my book. I will keep Monroe on my list for a top five soon. Keep the great lists coming!

As the great Bobby Heenan, Jesse Ventura and Ken Patera, among other heels, have said : Win if you can, lose if you must but always cheat!" Nothing wrong with adding in a few more if you want, I added in a ballad section with my Motley Crue picks. I probably could have done extended lists for all of mine so far. I will chime in on Aerosmith and Bon Jovi later, two more of my favorites. This topic is addicting

When I was a teenager, Aerosmith were my favourite band- until I discovered the Ramones! I hardly listen to them anymore, but I could still do a top 50! Here's my top 5 though..
Aerosmith:
1. Chiquita 2. Chip Away The Stone 3. Critical Mass 4. You See Me Crying 5. No Surprise
I could do a Led Zeppelin one. Was lucky enough to see Jimmy Page & Robert Plant many years ago, and Page was actually at a Cheap Trick concert we were at two weeks go!
Led Zeppelin:
1. Tangerine 2. Hey, Hey what Can I do 3. Custard Pie 4. Going To California 5. Immigrant Song
Not a huge Beatles fan, even though I've played the resurrected Cavern Club maybe 15 times, so I couldn't possibly do a top 5. Same with The Doors really (I prefer Love!)
At present, I am working on a solo project that's heavily influenced by Gram Parsons, so it's all about Gram at the mo for me!
