Essential metal... Favorite 5 Metallica - Broken, Beat & Scarred - Now That We're Dead - Of Wolf And Man - Sad But True - Where The Wild Things Are No disrespect to lucifer... I absolutely LOVE older Metallica stuff as well... Just that I'm a sucker for polished production... In fact, I believe everything pre-Black album deserves its own list... Favorite 5 Metallica (part deux) - Ride The Lightning - The Four Horsemen - Disposable Heroes - Eye Of The Beholder - Leper Messiah And my absolute top band of the new millennium... The pioneers of nu metal... Favorite 5 KoЯn - Coming Undone - Freak On A Leash - Make Me Bad - Hater - Rotting In Vain * Honorable mentions to everything these two bands have ever done. Can honestly say I don't think I dislike a single song by either.

Favorite 5 songs from the Monkees 1. Last Train From Clarksville 2. Papa Gene's Blues 3. The Girl I Knew Somewhere 4. Pleasant Valley Sunday 5. Daydream Believer Absolutely ridiculous that the Monkees are not enshrined in the so-called Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Don't wanna hear that they "didn't play all of their instruments" or "write all of their own songs", either. Last time I checked, there was no French horn player in the Beatles or pianist in The Rolling Stones, both of whom were outsold by the Monkees in 1966 or 1967. And by both, I mean COMBINED. Don't recall Elton John writing all of his material, either. Plus, there's a solid argument to be made that their musical performances on their weekly show were pretty much a precursor to the music video. Lastly, their show is one of the earliest I remember watching on TV as a child and is forever embedded in my memories. That being said, my 5 favorite Monkees songs: 1.Look Out, Here Comes Tomorrow 2.Daydream Believer 3.Valleri 4.She Hangs Out 5.I'm Not Your Stepping Stone

all great choices there Lucifer. Of the four I've done they were the hardest because I love so many of their songs. (I love the others too but my top 5s for them were easier because I liked those songs so much more than the others)
