I will start by carrying on from Bri's Legends fed thread... My favorite 5 songs by the Rolling Stones: - Sympathy For The Devil - Paint It Black - Gimme Shelter - Honky Tonk Woman - Wild Horses

Hey Pariah! Great idea - and love those picks amigo. Mid sixties to early seventies Stones was the bomb. Them in their absolute prime. Someone asked Mick Jagger in the late seventies - are you and your band threatened by the new punk bands and the punk movement in general? He simply replied - You can't out-punk Keith...its pointless π

Here is my Motley Crue Top Five (and I won't lie it was very tough to narrow it down):
1. Wild Side 2. Saints of Los Angeles 3. Looks That Kill 4. Ten Seconds To Love 5. Kickstart My Heart (This song has to make my list. Not only is it a kick ass song but Nikki Sixx legit died according to the paramedics and came back to write this song about the experience!)
On the flip side I want to list my Top Five favorite ballads by the Crue:
1. Glitter 2. Home Sweet Home 3. You're All I Need 4. Without You 5. Time For Change

Here is my Top Five by The Doors (again it was really difficult for me to narrow it down to five) 1. Roadhouse Blues 2. L.A. Woman 3. The Soft Parade 4. The Changeling 5. Five To One Honorary picks: Back Door Man, Break On Through, The End, Wild Child, Soul Kitchen, etc. Hell I'll just stop before I list the whole catalog

I've always been a huge Motley Crue fan especially since I was a teenager in the mid to late 80s. Like cruefan68 , it will be hard for me to pick a Top 5 but here goes. 1. Kick Start My Heart---This is my go to Crue song 2. Live Wire 3. Home Sweet Home 4. Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away) 5. Girls, Girls, Girls (The first time I saw them live was during this tour) Other songs that are interchangeable with 2 - 5 (depending on my mood): Looks That Kill, Saints of Los Angeles, 10 Seconds To Love, Without You, Dr Feelgood

Rolling Stones
1. Dead Flowers 2. Angie 3. Mother's Little Helper 4. Brown Sugar 5. 19th Nervous Breakdown

I agree with Bri, great stuff everybody. It is fun to see this picking up steam and thanks Pariah for starting the thread. Here are my Elvis and Led Zeppelin picks and as with the others it is extremely difficult to narrow it down to five but that is part of the fun. Elvis 1. Suspicious Minds 2. My Way (I know it's probably blasphemy but Elvis owns this song, even though it is a Frank Sinatra classic) 3. In The Ghetto 4. Can't Help Falling In Love 5. Hard Headed Woman (same placement for me as joebreakdown) Led Zeppelin 1. Immigrant Song (Bruiser Brody represent!) 2. Going to California 3. Stairway to Heaven 4. Whole Lotta Love 5. Rock and Roll I could also do this all day...
