Just a note Bri, though the Beach Boys probably covered Little Old Lady From Pasadena, it was a Jan and Dean song (though Brian wrote it) 5 Favorite Songs that may or may not be one hit wonders 1. Bad to the Bone George Thorogood and The Destroyers 2. Safety Dance Men Without Hats 3. Eye of the Tiger Survivor 4. Rock Me Amadeus Falcone 5. Putting on The Ritz Taco version Hey TTX, Very cool - I didn't know that Jan & Dean did the song first. Interesting. Also like the one hit wonder picks!

How about another singer who might be able to pull off good vocals on Doors songs - I'm thinking Sully from Godsmack just because of the raw power in his voice.
Man it took me a while to catch up!!
So many great picks.
I have Steppenwolfs - The Pusher in my head as well as The Clash's Rock The Casbah and Somebody Save Me from Cinderella alternating turns!
Have to list ACDC:
Whole Lotta Rosie Let There Be Rock Sin City The Jack Problem Child
No disrespect to Brian Johnson ACDC, but Bon Scott was the man.
Even Brian Johnson said Bon Scott was brilliant, and I quote:
"E wus a fookin poet!"
Not sure if I listed Van Halen:
Unchained Panama Romeo Delight Light Up The Sky The Full Bug
Honorable mention is the entire "Different Kind Of Truth" album that they released in 2012 with Diamond Dave back in the fold.
Best comeback album by far I have ever heard and my second favorite Van Halen album after 1984.
Keep em coming all!

Top 5 Favorite Epic Rap Battles of History 1. Sir Isaac Newton vs Bill Nye 2. Mozart vs Skrillex (the battle that turned me into a fan) 3. Romeo and Juliet vs Bonnie and Clyde 4. Mr. T vs Mr. Rogers 5. J.R.R. Tokleen vs George R.R. Martin
Season 3 for me was the peak with 1 and 5 having major ups and downs while 2 and 4 were solid but not quite as good as season 3. Perhaps it will continue but I think it's done at least for now.

This was a real tough one for me as I went through the catalog of one of my all-time favorite bands: The Cult 1. Love Removal Machine 2. Lil' Devil 3. Heart of Soul 4. Wild Hearted Son 5. GOAT (Greatest of All Time) Honestly I could list so many more: Edie, Sweet Soul Sister, Fire Woman, Dirty Little Rockstar, White, She Sells Sanctuary and well you get the picture. GOAT is off of their most recent album, Hidden City, and is an awesome song. Like I noted in another post I would have liked to do a Favorite 25 for this band. So many great songs, I have everything of theirs either on cd or digital...

I always laugh when I bring up The Cult to people and they think I am talking about Blue Oyster Cult. Hey, nothing wrong with BOC but The Cult deserve better than being mistaken for another group. On another funny note I went to the gym today and hit shuffle on my ipod and what comes up first - Love Removal Machine, it's like the ipod knew about my list

Some killer lists, Bri, I especially like the AC/DC one you posted. It looks like we come from the same neck of the woods. I grew up in the Corona section of Queens so yeah The Ramones were pretty big in those parts and it was a great time for music for sure.
