About to walk over to the Legion Hall in about 30 minutes.
An aside thought about the wildfire going on here.
When I fly in for BOLA, the last few years I stayed in Burbank (which I prefer for access to the less busier airport compared to LAX.) But based on the weather conditions I think I am glad I stayed this time in Reseda. The reason is that Reseda is located in the San Fernando Valley where there is a major wildfire going on at the moment (in fact the mayor of Los Angeles said today it is the biggest wildfire in the history of the city of Los Angeles.) While you can't really see too many signs of it in Reseda, you definitely can in Burbank (in fact, I could see the flames from the fire itself on the hills surrounding Burbank today when me and Cman went there to go to lunch.) There have been some evacuations from those hills and the freeways are just a total mess- in fact the freeways were so bad me and Cman were not able to make it to lunch in time to meet Toasterboy (instead we are now meeting for lunch tomorrow- but in Reseda.)
I am getting ready to go to tonight's show and intend to have alot of fun, but I nevertheless feel bad for those people who had to evacuate and I hope they don't have their homes destroyed by the wildfire.

I just got my Kenny Omega card autographed!
But it took awhile as the line to meet Omega was actually almost as long as the beer line (Omega actually had two different lines going at once tonight.)

I just got back from Night 2, it was even better than Night 1!
As I mentioned on my previous post here, I got my Kenny Omega card autographed and I got also my Joey Janela card autographed too.
Unfortunately they did not have any more BOLA 2017 shirts for sale tonight (and they said they won't be selling anymore tomorrow either,) but I bought a couple of shirts tonight including a Kenny Omega shirt I think I might wear when I go to Death Before Dishonor in 3 weekends from now in Las Vegas.
After the show tonight, I was able to make a couple of signings to the game who I am really happy about. So I was able to make a total of 5 signings so far this weekend.
My favorite matches tonight were Sammy Guevara vs Joey Janela, Keith Lee vs WALTER, and of course the main event of REY Fenix, PENTA EL OM, and Flamita vs The Elite (Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks.)
Results listed below:
Donovan Dijak defeated Trevor Lee in a First Round match
Dijak has been awesome in both of his matches this weekend. I wish he had made his PWG debut earlier.
Sammy Guevara defeated Joey Janela in a First Round match
This was my favorite tournament match of the night.
Travis Banks defeated Mark Haskins in a First Round match
A great match but for some reason there was confusion between the referee and the bell ringer regarding the ending.
LDRS (Zack Sabre Jr. and Marty Scurll) defeated Ricochet and Matt Sydal
Watching this match made wish PWG would bring back DDT4 once again.
Jeff Cobb defeated Sami Callihan in a First Round match
It will be interesting to see if Cobb can indeed win 3 more matches tomorrow to win BOLA 2017.
Matthew Riddle defeated Michael Elgin in a First Round match
Most people think Cobb is winning BOLA, possibly, but I think Riddle is a candidate too.
Keith Lee defeated WALTER in a First Round match
Great to see WALTER wrestle live for the first time, Keith Lee is another possible BOLA winner tomorrow IMO.
Looking forward to seeing Night 3 tomorrow with Cman. The brackets are blind so it will be interesting to see what the matchups will be in the next 3 rounds tomorrow. Unlike last year when I was correctly absolutely sure Marty Scurll would win BOLA, I think there are at least 3 wrestlers still in the tournament who could win tomorrow's trophy.

This just sounds like an awesome match, just looking at the names involved.
I've been painting my house all weekend so the crappiest wrestling show sounds better than what I've been doing. BOLA sounds like paradise.
And great job on the additional signings! We Filsinger Games fans are lucky to have you out there getting all these signings for us year after year.
