Once in a while, I'll have the wrestlers use what's on the choice charts (especially GWF ones, but guys who often use more than 15 moves in Legends/Indys as well) use the move on the chart or something I know they use.
Also I don't worry about substituting. When Harley Race beat Andre for me, I didn't use the Piledriver that was rolled buy said Race did a top rope headbutt instead.

Another PIN question. When it comes to fatigue tokens, do you guys add a finisher's rating as PIN tokens on top of the kick-out token? Example: If Lou Thesz hits Harley Race with a Thesz Press and Harley kicks out, does that then equal 3 tokens(the +2 from the finisher and the fatigue token from Harley kicking out) or do you only count the fatigue token for kicking out?

I only count a single fatigue token, but it would be interesting to add finisher rating. But then that adds the question if you add 1 for normal pins along with (0) finishers then do +1 finishers become +2 fatigue? And on and on?

(0) finishers I don't add any, but the kick out token is counted. But I feel like it would become a totally different game for me once I started only adding the kick out token.

I've been having a constant debate with myself over which pin rating I like using more, the basic or advanced version. I'd love to hear other people's preference to get some second opinions. Advanced. This way, you can figure in Finisher ratings, just like it says in the rulebook. The higher PIN rating makes for very short matches, especially (in combination with) if you do the normal DQ roll instead of the "house rule" of needing to roll the DQ TWICE in a roll to have an actual DQ. And no, that's not in the rulebook. You ONLY add one to your PIN once you've kick out.

I just like advanced because it leads to longer matches but when I started playing way back in the day I used basic.

I usually flip a coin or roll before each match on which to use. big matches I use the advance like Iron Man, or ppv title matches or special grudge matches. weekly shows I flip. it all depends on the type of drama you want to add.

I've never used the basic pin rating but I think it could be worth using if I am planning a story building squash. Sometimes I do find it odd if, say Jake Milliman kicks out of Harley Race's finisher. I suppose on the basic higher rating, he'd have far less of a chance.
Often when a jobber kicks out of a pin against someone he should be losing to, I imagine his opponent has pulled him up off the canvas, in order to deliver further punishment.

I only add the token if they survive the pin. I look at it this way. You roll the finisher and the guy escapes, that doesn't mean you hit your finisher and they kicked out. That could mean that you went for your finisher and they got out of the hold or got in the ropes when you went for the cover. There was some price to pay for the opponent but that doesn't mean they kicked out of the move.

Good discussion but use basic in tag teams along with tournaments to quicken things. All title matches and big matches use advanced.
As for the Choice moves, I mostly use the move on the wrestlers card to make it seem like the wrestler's style.
At one point early in my playing days, I did not roll just used the move.
