I did watch season 3 of Lucha Underground on El Rey through Sling TV, which I have also used while traveling for other stuff. Contemplating dropping cable TV after football season and just going with Sling and Netflix. Wont help me for Wrestlekingdom, but may just get a month of New Japan World. Sling TV has AXS TV, so you could watch the Tokyo Dome special on Sling! I thought it did, then when I went on the AXS website and it wasn't listed there...I may have just missed it. I cancelled my Sling subscription, but may bring it back on 1/6. Unfortunately thats head to head with the first round of the playoffs.

Well with no access to AXS I finally bit the bullet and subscribed to New Japan World. I usually don't like watching long events on my computer but I realized I can pause and leave it for a bit so I think I can get through it ok. I'm sure it will be worth it. I plan on watching Wrestle Kingdom after work, as it will already be over, so I will have to avoid spoilers that day.
I have to say I love the service already as last night I checked out Hulk Hogan vs. Abdullah the Butcher from 1982, Antonio Inoki & Seiji Sakaguchi vs. Hollywood Blonds from 1975 and a random eight-man tag from a recent show in December. I love that you can go back in time or even watch recent events in full and even live when they air. That is awesome. They have done a nice job with the English translation as I found it very easy to navigate the site. Highly recommended for those on the fence and the price point is around the same as WWE Network. I was charged $8.83 U.S. which is a really good deal for all that you get.
Now my only wish is for them to get an APP on the video game systems so I can easily watch on my TV.

I think it's important that you know that subbing today means you're going to be charged again on New Year's. NJ World bills every month on the 1st regardless of what day you signed up the previous month.

I guess I will get three days worth of viewing in to make it worth it. I definitely want to watch the recent Tag League final so I will start there and watch some more stuff over the next few days. It's ok, though, as after seeing what is available I will keep on subscribing.

Honestly if you're only gonna have it for a couple of days, don't bother with the Tag League stuff because it's pretty much always awful. Poke back through the archival stuff or at the very least watch some of the G1 stuff from the last few years. I could PM you a list of stuff if you'd like a place to start.

Actually I have decided to keep NJPW World as I like what is offered on the service. I am especially looking forward to the live events. What I meant in my response was that since I already paid for the last few days of December I am going to get my nine dollars worth of viewing in for those days before I am charged again on the first. I sent you a PM as even though I am keeping it I would like to know what matches or events you think are the best ones as there is so much to watch it is pretty hard to find a place to start. I know I definitely want to see Okada-Omega II so that is high on my list.

New Japan decided this week needed to be even bigger than it was. At today's Fan Festival it was announced that New Japan Pro Wrestling would become the first licensed partner in a Fire Pro Wrestling game since 1995 and that the PS4 version, with New Japan included, would be coming "in time for the G1"! They showed a demo match of Makabe playing vs. KUSHIDA that was running on a PC and one of the modders found some story mode code after a recent update, so the New Japan content will also make its way to the Steam PC version most likely in the form of paid downloadable content.
