Well...tonight's the night. Anyone watching live as opposed to waiting for the marathon on AXS on Saturday?

I will be watching on NJPW World but unfortunately not live due to the 2am EST start time. I have work in the morning so my plan is to watch when I get home and try to avoid the internet and Facebook at all costs during the day. Should be a great show. I am also psyched about the Fire Pro announcement you posted about previously @switch.

Apparently New Japan threw this up about a week ago on their English YouTube channel. It's a 40:00 preview for the show with Marc Warzecha, Kevin Kelly and Rocky Romero.

As of last night they had 32,600 tickets sold. That doesn't count sponsor tickets but those aren't counted anymore anyways since they've started claiming real numbers. They might really hit 35k paid for the first time since the mid 2000s.

The result of that main event was like if Vince decided at the last minute to have Shawn keep the belt over Austin at WM XIV. Naito isn't going to be any hotter than he was today. This was really, really stupid. The match was good, I guess. I don't know. I'm gonna need to get some sleep and watch that again.

I had Omega and Okada winning going in. Naito is incredible, but Okada is special. Truly a legend in the making.
Great to see Tanahashi retain, too.

I just hope Naito can stay as hot and not get injured for next year.

I had Omega and Okada winning going in. Naito is incredible, but Okada is special. Truly a legend in the making. Great to see Tanahashi retain, too. The problem with Okada is that he's had a year and a half with the title and, minus a defense against Kota Ibushi, has cleaned out every legitimate challenger they have. Sometimes title reigns can go too long. Naito is the biggest merch seller in the company and regularly gets the loudest reactions of anyone on the roster. But now they get to rehash the Tanahashi/Nakamura and Okada/Tanahashi angle where it takes the guy three times to win the big one at the Tokyo Dome. The only problem is when they run this match back next year, it's not gonna draw just under 35k paid. They blew it.
