Commissioner Encubus is standing in the ring.

Commissioner Encubus: Welcome to our first pay-per-view Galaxy Gauntlet! Tonight, we will crown the first ever FTR Galaxy Champion and FTR Galaxy Tag Team Champions here! Let’s get the bad news over with first… Unfortunately, Moonlight will not be able to compete here tonight in the Gauntlet Match. Doctors have not cleared her to compete until further information can be determined if she has just pulled a muscle or torn ligaments.
Also, as we went of the air on the last Evolution Show, Doomsayer and Tendron stuffed Captain Crossbones into the Brymstone Coffin and set it on fire. When we went off air, crew fought hard to put out the flames and when they had them out, Crossbones was not in the coffin. No one has seen Crossbones since then, so we don’t know the status of him as we speak. I have fined Doomsayer and Tendron, both for the damages they caused and for their conduct.
Now, let’s get to the rules. The order of each wrestler/team in the gauntlet matches are based off their win/lose records of the past four weeks. The more wins that a wrestler/team has the better their place in the gauntlet match. Simply enough! So, let Galaxy Gauntlet begin!!!

FTR Galaxy Tag-Team Championship Gauntlet Match

The Natives vs. Meteor Storm
Ygorr defeated Black Hole Bart with a NATIVES ARE RESTLESS at 6:37
Match Notes: Both, Natives and Meteor Storm had some much to prove in this match, as both teams were at the bottom of the entry list in the gauntlet match. Meteor Storm had this match in the bag, until one miscommunication caused Astro Turk to draw the attention from ref. Which allowed The Natives to hit their tag finisher, NATIVES ARE RESTLESS, a double bulldog on Bart to win the match.





Mad Maxus vs. The Natives
Totally Awesome defeated Krud with an AWESOME FINISHER at 19:39
Match Notes: Mad Maxus came storming to the ring, thinking they could get a quick win over The Natives, but their opponents rolled to the outside of the ring to catch their breath. Mad Maxus had a hard time putting The Natives away, as Ygorr and Krud was kicking out of everything that was throw at them. Krud just ran out of steam, which gave Totally Awesome the opportunity he needed to put Krud away with his finisher, AWESOME FINISHER for the 1-2-3!




Villains Inc. vs. Mad Maxus
Swerve defeated Totally Awesome with a TITAN DROP at 12:40
Match Notes: Villains Inc. walked down to the ring taking their time, they didn’t want to spend the extra energy getting to the ring. The Team of Mad Maxus just would not give in, but again towards the end of the match, Totally Awesome was so blown up that he just couldn’t put up much offense. Which made it easy for Swerve to out preform his opponent and hit Totally Awesome with the TITAN DROP for the win.





Conquerors of the Galaxy vs. Villains Inc.
Manic defeated Murtak with a CLINICAL DEPRESSION at 0:57
Match Notes: As Conquerors were running down to the ring, Mass tripped over his feet and tumbled down the ramp way. Murtak didn’t see Mass fall over his feet and stormed the ring. Manic caught Murtak coming end with a kick and CLINICAL DEPRESSION for the quick win.





Penguins on Ice vs. Villains Inc.
Swerve defeated King Tux after hitting him with a TITAN SWERVE and then pinning Tux with feet on the ropes at 10:44
Match Notes: As fresh a team, Chilly Fu and King Tux came out of fire. Manic whispered to Swerve that they needed to control the tempo of the match, if they were going to win this. Which was hard for them to break the momentum of the Penguins for the first part of the match. The Penguins were making crisp and hot tags, to keep a fresh penguin in the match at all times. Manic was able to regain control of the match and slow it down with a devastating middle rope DDT to King Tux. Manic tagged Swerve in, who hit Tux with the TITAN SWERVE and got the win with his feet on the ropes.

Nitro: I am here with the Commissioner Encubus and the winners of the Tag Team Galaxy Gauntlet… Manic and Swerve, the Villains Inc.

Commissioner Encubus: Thank you, Nitro. Let me congratulate the both of you in one hell of a performance out there. Villains Inc. beat three of the top-ranking tag teams in the FTR. Some of your tactics might have been questionable but the results speak for themselves.
If my assistant would come up here with the new FTR Galaxy Tag Team Titles, we will present you with them. Thank you, Chris. Here you go gentlemen. I give you NEW FTR GALAXY TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, VILLAINS INC.!!! The mic is all yours…

Manic: Thank you, Commissioner Encubus! We beat three of the top teams in the FTR. We outsmarted those stupid penguins! If you really want a shot as these titles Chilly Fu, better get yourself a real partner and not some overstuff pushie. MWHAHAHAHA!

Swerve: I just want to say one thing to those fans, who thought I was some low-level minion… you can suck it!

Meteor Storm comes out to the stage area.

Nitro: What are you two doing out here?

Astro Turk: I want to file a complaint to the Commissioner, that we were robbed of our chance to win those titles! We would have smoke all the other teams…

Swerve: You mean these titles? The ones that are around our waists?

Manic: You want a shot at these titles, Grandpa? Come back when you have a few wins under your belts! MWHAHAHAHAHA!


Commissioner Encubus: Gentlemen! I’ll handle this… I’m glad you came out here Astro and Bart. I believed in your performance so much out there… that I want to award you with “special” titles of your own.

Astro Turk: You hear that Bart! I knew we were going to make it if we stayed here.

Commissioner Encubus: If my assistant would hand me the other bag, please. These gentlemen are the FTR Jobber Tag Team Championships.

Commissioner Encubus hands the titles to both Astro Turk and Blackhole Bart. Astro Turk and Blackhole Bart starts to jump up and down excitedly.

Commissioner Encubus: You, both have earned these titles for all the hard work you have done over the years.

Astro Turk: We will defend these titles with our lives, sir!

Commissioner Encubus: No… Astro. You don’t understand… These are the FTR Jobber Tag Team titles. In order to keep them around your waist, all you have to do is just keep doing what you do so well….

Blackhole Bart: And that is?

Commissioner Encubus: Lose.

Commissioner Encubus and Villains Inc. walk off the stage, as Bart looks at Astro Turk, who shakes his head in unbelief, as he watches his tag partner is still celebrating.

Astro Turk: I can’t believe we finally won a championship, Bart!

Part Two of FTR Galaxy Gauntlet

The Tar Pit

Powerslam: Tonight, I have a guest that has signed a one-year contact with the FTR that officially starts once we have crowned the new FTR Galaxy Champion. Welcome Psi, to the Tar Pit! Let’s start this show off with a bang… Why did you leave the GWF and ultimately the group DOOM?

Psi: First off, I’m out here as a favor to Encubus to boost the ratings on your crappy show. As to why I left the group DOOM and the GWF is because I was made certain promises, which were not kept up to by other parties. So, I had my lawyers and personal agents working to get me out of my contact and seek other employment ship elsewhere.

Powerslam: How well do you think you will do in the FTR as a competitor?

Psi: Look you geeky rejected of a dinosaur! What titles have you ever won? Your biggest claim to fame is going down to the local quickie store, picking up a copy of a wrestling magazine, and reading about what I do for a living. My claim to fame is wrestling in this sport for the last seven years, holding multiple championships and being the Intellectual Genius of the Universe. No one has the intellect to compete with a mind like the one I have. So, it doesn’t matter who wins the FTR Galaxy Championship tonight! After tonight, just know that Psi will be coming after that title and I won’t stop until I am wearing it around my waist.

Powerslam: Could you repeat that? I must have zoned out somewhere.

Psi: Exactly, you are to stupid to be able to put more than two sentences together, so you must speak in sound bites. When you have gain the I.Q. of a small child, maybe then I’ll come back and be on your crappy show. But, until then do what all these morons do at home, keep replaying this interview until you have fully grasp what I have said.

Psi then walks off the stage set, with Powerslam stretching his head.

FTR Galaxy Championship Gauntlet Match

Vacant vs. Ram Jam
Vacant defeated Ram Jam with a SPINE CRACKER at 9:06
Match Notes: Ram Jam just didn’t have what it takes to pull off a win, as Vacant took it to him. Ram Jam at one point had Vacant dazed and went for his finisher, RAM JAM, a flying headbutt from the top turnbuckle. Vacant was able to get out of the way at the last minute. Ram Jam crashed and burned to the mat. Vacant then applied SPINE CRACKER, a camel clutch hold to make Ram Jam submit.





Faller vs. Vacant
Vacant defeated Faller with a Renegade Bulldog at 5:04
Match Notes: Faller entered the match and as soon as the bell sounded, went right after Vacant. Faller hit Vacant with several lumberjack lariats to soften up his opponent. Faller went for the finisher, TIMBER! But Vacant ducked and hit Faller with his signature move, Renegade Bulldog and scored the pinfall.




Virus vs. Vacant
Virus defeated Vacant with a PANDEMIC at 9:26
Match Notes: After two matches, Vacant was starting to look a little fatigued as the match went on with Virus. Vacant kicked out of two PANDEMICs, underhook DDT. Vacant tried to get a second wind as he crawled outside the ring, but Virus went after him and throw him back in the ring. Virus hit a third PANDEMIC and there was no way Vacant was kicking out of that. Virus waited for who his next opponent would be.




Blue Chip vs. Virus
Blue Chip defeated Virus with a CETUS SUPLEX at 4:27
Match Notes: Virus tried to ambush Blue Chip as he came into the ring, but Chip didn’t let him get the upperhand. Blue Chip came out on fire, hitting Virus with two Chipperlines, impactful clotheslines that knocked Virus’s head off. Blue Chip then grab Virus up and delivered the CETUS SUPLEX for the win.




Stryker vs. Blue Chip
Blue Chip defeated Stryker with a CETUS SUPLEX at 14:06
Match Notes: Stryker came down the ramp next! The momentum went back and forth between Blue Chip and Stryker. Stryker hit his finisher, K.Y.O.A. but Blue Chip kicked out at a count of 2 and a half. Stryker couldn’t believe that didn’t get him the match. Stryker argued with the ref and while distracted Blue Chip snuck up on him and hit him with CETUS SUPLEX for the win! Who is going to be Blue Chip’s next opponent?

Final part is coming...

[Pariah]

Brilliant run by Manic and Swerve in the tag gauntlet... And Blue Chip is looking pretty strong, but some of the most ferocious competitors in the FTR have yet to appear... Looking forward to the final part of the show...

Totally loving the 'jobber' belts awarded to Meteor Storm by the commissioner... Turk's reaction was pure gold... While Bart remains a little skeptical over what this all means...

Galaxy Gauntlet Match



Killer Queen vs. Blue Chip
Blue Chip defeated Killer Queen with a backslide at 20:57
Match Notes: Killer Queen’s music hit and came walking down the ring. Blue Chip and Killer Queen put on a stellar performance as they both wanted to advance to the next match. Killer Queen started to work on Chip’s leg and create an opening to slap his submission finisher on. Killer Queen was able to slap the BLACK WIDOW on Blue Chip for several minutes, before Moonlight comes down to the ring to distract the Queen. Killer Queen lets go of the finisher, while distracted by Moonlight, Blue Chip slips in and pins Killer Queen with a backslide for the win.

Killer Queen is furious and attacks Moonlight. Blue Chip comes to the aid of Moonlight, chasing Killer Queen to the back.





Disciple of Terror vs. Blue Chip
Disciple of Terror defeated Blue Chip with an ATOMIC WARHEAD at 0:47
Match Notes: Disciple of Terror’s music hits but no one is there on the ramp. Blue Chip looks bewildered as he talks to the ref, about where DOT is. The ref starts his count 1-2-3-4-5-6… on the count of 6 Disciple of Terror sneaks in from the crowd and then into the ring. Blue Chip doesn’t see DOT, as DOT hits Chip with an ATOMIC WARHEAD for the win. It looks like DoT had a plan going into this Gauntlet match to get pass the first competitor.





Mayham vs. Disciple of Terror
Disciple of Terror defeated Mayham with an ATOMIC WARHEAD at 7:54
Match Notes: Mayham’s music plays and he comes racing down to the ring like he always does, DOT ambushes him as he comes in between the ropes. Disciple of Terror keeps on Mayham with a good ground game trying to keep the big hog from building any adrenaline for a comeback. The crowd started to cheer Mayham’s name without the arena. “Mayham! Mayham! Mayham!” Mayham was able to get to the ropes and start to build some adrenaline which gets him some fuel. DOT’s punches don’t phase Mayham, then Mayham clotheslines DOT out of his boots a couple times. Mayhem sets DOT up for BACON BITS, but Doomsayer distracts Mayham, DOT then climbs off the top turnbuckle and hits Mayham with his finisher ATOMIC WARHEAD for the win.
As, Mayham is going to the backstage area, two unknown men attack the AniMan. The microphone picks up one of the men saying, “No one, mocks Aethra or one of our own!” After they have beaten him up for several minutes, they hog tie Mayham and stick a big red apple in his mouth. Security crews rush in and separate the two attackers and escort them out to jail.





Astarte vs. Disciple of Terror
Astarte defeated Disciple of Terror with a TRUE FUTURE SHOCK at 30:55
Match Notes: Astarte’s music played next, we are getting a rematch from the last Evolution Show. Astarte took his time, which gave DoT some time to catch his breath. This match went back and forth for thirty minutes, both aliens kicking out of multiple pin attempts. Tendron and Doomsayer had interjected themselves several times in the match attacking Astarte behind the refs back. The odds were not looking good for Astarte, when his father comes storming from the backstage and takes out Tendron. Then Astarte Sr. chases Doomsayer around the ring and to the back area. DOT is distracted giving time for Astarte to regroup and hit DOT with his finisher, TRUE FUTURE SHOCK for the win.





Captain Crossbones vs. Astarte
Captain Crossbones defeated Astarte with a Death in Space at 19:56
Match Notes: The arena goes pitch black and Crossbones music starts to play. Lightening hits the ramp stage as smoke rolls in and a crew of skeleton corpses comes walking down the stage. Everyone in the area had the hair on the back of their head stand up. Crossbones comes up from the bottom of the stage and starts to walk to the ring.
Once in the ring, these two had one hell of a match that momentum went back and forth so many times. Astarte hit his finisher, TRUE FUTURE SHOCK, but only got a two count. Crossbones regained the advantage by rolling to the outside of the ring and sucking Astarte to come out after him. There Crossbones speared Astarte into the railing on the outside and then threw him back into the ring. Crossbones hit Astarte with BLACK SAILS, but he was able to get his shoulder up in time. Crossbones hit Astarte with Death in Space, a jumping knee smash off the middle turnbuckle to the head for the 1-2-3!

Nitro: I am here with the Commissioner Encubus once again, and the winner of the Singles Galaxy Gauntlet… Captain Crossbones.

Commissioner Encubus: Thank you, Nitro. What a bunch of great matches we got to see tonight! Blue Chip, Disciple of Terror and Astarte put on an awesome showing. There were some outside interferes in several of those matches, but I let it go… because this is a fed of fighters not passive wusses.
Here comes our new Champion! Let me congratulate you on a stellar win out there. You have earned this new championship and the right to be the face of the new company! Here you go Champion.

Crossbones: Look at my face… Get use to seeing it in your nightmares. I tend to be holding this title for a long time. I don’t care who comes after it… Blue Chip, Disciple of Terror, or Astarte!

Psi comes out into the stage.

Psi: What about me?... Now, that the Champion has been crowned… I’m officially all clocked in and ready to go to work.

Crossbones: Oh, it’s the no body from the GWF… come to make a name for himself in the FTR.

Psi: Your pretty witty for a dead guy… and at least your smarter than the reject of a dinosaur, I talked to earlier. But, your no match for my intelligent and it won’t be long before I am in your head with my mind games.

Crossbones: You might not like what horrors that are in this mind… but you can give it a try at least. You might just be the one they carry off to the asylum. Come back after you have gained some wins…

Manic and Swerve come from behind and attack Crossbones. Psi joins in the attack. Psi hits Crossbones with PSI Thrust Apex and then his finisher, MIND OVER MATTER, a side sharpshooter. Security crews had to come separate the three men off Crossbones. Psi picks up the FTR Galaxy Championship and holds it up in the air.

Some wild action there. Swerve had to get cheap to beat the Penguins. Big win by Crossbones and enjoying the Meteor Storm stuff.

I felt that for the first big event, I needed to go balls to the wall. I needed to do something with the bottom half of the Tag division. Meteor Storm has not won a match so far and felt that if they were to keep on losing why not give them a good reason to lose. After all these decades of losing, they finally have gold around their waists.

There is a lot to digest coming out of Galaxy Gauntlet for sure. I'm sure Disciple is not happy with Astarte or Tendron at this moment.

Psi made a huge statement as soon as his official contact date went active. But, the fact remains Psi needs to climb the ranks before he can get a shot at the title. The question remains why did Villains Inc. Come out and join in on the attack?

Moonlight got a little revenge on Killer Queen for putting her out of the gauntlet. This rivalry is far from over.

Meteor Storm has gold around their waists even if it was meant to mock them. But, Astro Turk sure doesn't see it like Bart might.

Who are these two guys that attacked Mayham? Did the Aethran Overmaster send them or are they here on their own?

These are just some of the talking points from the show that we can take away from Galaxy Gauntlet.

Gotta comment on each part here. I haven't peeked ahead on the results of the second half - but if this half was this good. I can't imagine what the second half is gonna look like.

First off - the way you structured this gauntlet method for the titles -particularly how the teams earned their entrance order (or didn't in some cases) into it was brilliant.

Congrats to Villians Inc. They definitely earned the titles.

Secondly - did not expect Captain Crossbones to vanish completely - awesome development. (I figured he was in trouble - but he has definitely now put the fed on alert as to who holds the cards here).

The drama, comedy and match descriptions were top notch!

All good things come in three's my friend, got a huge kick out of Powerslam going to the Bahamas for a moment in the middle of PSI's prognostications of perfection.

PSI should be an interesting facet to all of this.

Vacant put up a good fight - but stoked Blue Chip is on a roll as well.
