I was or was rather dragged to a game years ago. All I remember was a bunch of drunken idiots screaming and going nuts over the littlest events. I remember everyone around me leaping to their feet, tossing beer all over the place, when they heard, "And a three yard gain by the Orlando RAAAAAGE!"
Now I don't follow football much, but I didn't realize moving 3 yards was that much of an achievement.

Sounds like a PWG show. I went to a few games in San Francisco and a few in LA. They were fine. Defiantly more of a fun atmosphere than any NFL games I've been to except the time I was at Candlestick when Dwight Clark made 'the catch'. Don't think a moment can ever top that one. Didn't really understand why it was so important because I was too young, but I remember the place went nuts. |

For me this brings back memories of the Las Vegas Outlaws and their player He Hate Me.
I was actually at the stadium where the Outlaws played just yesterday when I attended the Las Vegas Bowl and saw Boise State defeat Oregon.

XFL returning? Seriously? That would be fun. Also, nice Vegas on the Oregon/Boise State game.......fun NW matchup there, would have loved to see that one. Heading to Fiesta Bowl myself this year UW vs. Penn State!

Heading to Fiesta Bowl myself this year UW vs. Penn State! yeah, a coworker who went to Oregon had an extra free ticket, it was actually the first college bowl game I have ever attended I liked seeing Bret Rypien, the nephew of former WSU (where I got my Bachelor's in History) QB Mark Rypien, play well as QB of Boise State have fun at the Fiesta Bowl |

I get what Vince is thinking, but the fans who have left the NFL aren't missing football. There's no void. College ball is cool. And with CTE awareness becoming more prevalent, fans are not rabid for anything football like they used to be. On top of all that, the talent pool simply does not exist.
