Muertes destroyed Jay, finishing him off with the Flatliner.

Pierre pinned Brad after the Tower of Quebec.

“Crippler” Ray Stevens w/Bobby Heenan vs. “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka w/“Taskmaster” Kevin Sullivan
This match was made after it was determined that Stevens and his partner, Dr. Tom Prichard, collectively known as the Blonde Bombers, became the #1 contenders to the Army of Darkness and their WCW World Tag Team Championship. Snuka won with the Superfly Leap.

Bockwinkel makes Fargo go to sleep with the Bockwinkel Sleeper.

“Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig vs. “The Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko w/“The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Mr. Hughes
Hennig dominated this match, and just when it seemed he had it won, DiBiase hooked his leg. Hennig reached through the ropes to go after DiBiase but got slugged by the powerful Mr. Hughes. That was all the opening the Living Legend needed, as Zbyszko followed up with a vicious Piledriver and the 1-2-3!

Davey Boy pinned Blanchard after a gorilla press slam! For the first time in WCW, we have a new Television Champion! Dillon looks shocked as he tends to the recovering Blanchard.

Champion “The Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers w/Melina vs. “Exotic” Adrian Street w/Miss Linda
Rogers beat Street, almost embarrassingly so, in just minutes. The angry Street never even got any offense in. Rogers wins with the Figure Four Grapevine. After the bell, Tony Schiavone attempts to interview Rogers, but instead we see a familiar sight, as Ted DiBiase and Mr. Hughes interrupt! DiBiase and Rogers speak for a second off mic, and then everyone smiles and walks off together.

Ross: “Gordon, looks like DiBiase is making new friends here in WCW, but for what reason, I have no idea!”
Solie: “Just like he did with Heenan and JJ Dillon! There’s no telling what these men are up to...”

Brody best Milliman in seconds, completely dominating him before a Jumping Knee Drop finisher.

The Crusher vs. Disco Inferno
Another squash, Da Crush wins with the Crusher Bolo, knocking Disco out cold. “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig comes to the ring to be interviewed by Tony Schiavone, and makes a challenge to “The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase to face him at Bash at the Beach without his flunkies being able to interfere. DiBiase comes out from the backstage area and counters: “Hennig, IF you can beat my man, Mr. Hughes here, later tonight...you’re on!”

Jacques pinned Scotty after the Tower of Quebec.

Butcher wins by countout when Magnum gets tired of Dillon’s interference and chases him to the back.

Alexis Smirnoff w/Comrade Lou Albano vs. The Killer Bee
Smirnoff brutalizes then masked man, pinning him after a vicious Heart Punch. After the bell, Smirnoff continues to attack! He continues to beat on the Killer Bee even after the referee reversed his decision to a DQ! Smirnoff tossed the ref from the ring and again attacks the Bee until the Crusher, Brutus Beefcake, and Davey Boy Smith chase him off.

Hennig wins with the Perfect Plex! He will get DiBiase with no outside interference at Bash at the Beach! WCW General Manager Teddy Long comes out to ringside to make some announcements. First among these announcements is that the Killer Bee may be out of action for several weeks after the heinous attack by Alexis Smirnoff. He also announces that Smirnoff has earned himself a one month suspension from WCW competition! He then announces that several matches have been signed for Bash at the Beach:

Davey Boy wins his first title defense with the Running Power Slam. After the bell, the apparently very angry former TV Champion, Tully Blanchard, hit the ring, blindsiding Davey Boy. Davey Boy rallied and both men were separated by security. Blanchard challenged Davey Boy to a title match at Bash at the Beach, and Davey Boy immediately accepted!

Saint wins with the Three in One.

“The Billion Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase w/Mr. Hughes vs. Johnny Mantell
Before the match, DiBiase spoke to his bodyguard, Mr. Hughes, who nodded and left the ringside area. DiBiase made short work of Mantell, beating him with the Billion Dollar Dream. DiBiase then grabs a mic: “Curt Hennig! ‘Mr. Perfect?’ More like ‘Mr. Excuse!’ As you can see, I don’t need Mr. Hughes to win, and tomorrow night, after I beat you, you’ll be out of excuses!”

The Bolsheviks w/Comrade Albano vs. The Flying Redheads
Bastien pinned Zhukov after an Atomic Drop. After the bell, WCW GM Teddy Long made the announcement that tomorrow night at Bash at the Beach, both of these teams, along with the Vachon Brothers, the Armstrongs, the Quebecers, and the Rock n Roll Express will meet in a 6-Team Gauntlet Match to determine the #1 contenders to the WCW World Tag Team Championship!

“The Lariat” Stan Hansen vs. Abdullah the Butcher w/“Taskmaster” Kevin Sullivan
Hansen won a nasty brawl with a Lariat. He will face “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers at Bash at the Beach!

The Armstrongs (Bob and Brad) vs. The Blonde Bombers (Ray Stevens and Dr. Tom Prichard) w/Bobby Heenan
The Bombers won when Stevens pinned Brad after a Bombs Away knee drop. Schiavone joins Heenan and the Bombers after the bell:
Schiavone: “Bobby Heenan, another big victory here tonight from your men, but tomorrow night they’ll face their biggest challenge, Kevin Sullivan’s Army of Darkness for the WCW World Tag Team titles. What’s your strategy for tomorrow night?”
Heenan: “You know, Schiavone, you really are a moron. You’re no better than the rest of these humanoids sitting in these seats here tonight. There’s a reason they call me ‘The Brain,’ and it’s not because I go around sharing strategies the night before a big match! If you want to know what our strategy is, tune in tomorrow night!”

“The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson and Tully Blanchard w/JJ Dillon vs. Magnum TA and “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith
Dillon Enterprises won by DQ when Blanchard laid Davey Boy out with a foreign object on the outside and Davey Boy was unable to answer the ten count. Magnum and Danielson continue to brawl up the aisle after the match and as Blanchard attempts to join in, WCW GM Teddy Long comes from the back. He announces that while Blanchard may have gotten away with using a foreign object tonight, he better be ready for them tomorrow, as his Bash at the Beach match against Davey Boy Smith is now a No DQ Match!

Before this match started, WCW GM Teddy Long made the announcement that he and the Rock n Roll Express are currently embroiled in a contract dispute that he hopes to solve soon. But, unfortunately because of that dispute, the Rock n Roll Express will not be competing in this match. He is met by a resounding round of boos, but continues that he has found a suitable replacement for them in tonight’s match!
The match began with the Flying Redheads and the Vachon Brothers;
Lyons pinned Butcher with a rolling reverse cradle
Then the Armstrongs;
Lyons makes Brad tap to the Figure Four
The Bolsheviks;
Volkoff pinned Lyons with the Backbreaker Drop
The crowd goes crazy as the Brisco Brothers come to the ring!
Jack Brisco pinned Zhukov after a suplex assortment
And finally, the Quebecers;
Jack made Oulett submit to the Figure Four Leglock to win the match!

Fargo wins a back and forth brawl with his Atomic Drop.

Bruiser Brody vs. Mil Muertes w/“Taskmaster” Kevin Sullivan
The crowd is shocked into silence as Muertes pins Brody after his Flatliner in the center of the ring! Is Mil Muertes the answer Sullivan has been looking for to win his war against Bruiser Brody!?

Champion “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith vs. Tully Blanchard w/JJ Dillon
GM Teddy Long may have thought he was punishing Tully Blanchard by making this a No DQ Match, but unfortunately for Davey Boy, Long was playing right into Blanchard and Dillon’s hands. Blanchard regains his title, beating the Bulldog with a Slingshot Suplex after busting him open with a foreign object.

Hennig won with a flying bodyblock from the top rope. After the match, DiBiase’s flunkies, Mr. Hughes and Larry Zbyszko attack! With DiBiase directing traffic, all three men take turns swinging away on Hennig until Jackie Fargo and the Crusher hit the ring! DiBiase and his men bail out and Fargo and Crusher help Hennig to his feet.

Champion “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers w/Melina vs. Stan Hansen
Rogers and Melina used every dirty trick in the book to win this one, but it was Hansen that cost himself the victory. During a brawl with Rogers on the outside, he inadvertently struck the referee that was trying to separate them. The ref called for the bell and the immediate DQ.

WCW World Tag Team Championship Match
Champions The Army of Darkness (Jimmy Snuka and Terry Gordy) w/“Taskmaster” Kevin Sullivan vs. The Blonde Bombers (Ray Stevens and Dr. Tom Prichard) w/Bobby Heenan
Heenan and the Bombers used every weapon AE their disposal, but the AOD was just too much for them to handle. Gordy pinned Prichard after the Eternal Darkness finisher. Can even the Brisco Brothers defeat these monsters?

Champion “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson w/JJ Dillon vs. Magnum TA
Magnum looked off his game in this one, as he was on his back foot the entire match. He never really seemed like much of a threat to Danielson, who continued his stranglehold on the WCW World Heavyweight Championship by making Magnum submit to the Crossface Chickenwing.
