Because I simply cannot help myself, I’m gonna run a 2087 and my Early Classics fed concurrently. WHAT HAS COME BEFORE … 2080: Pro-wrestling’s steady rise in popularity during the last half of the 2070’s explodes in 2080, leading to one of the most successful and profitable half-decades in pro-wrestling history up to that point; The D.W.F grows by leaps and bounds during the next 6 years and sees an influx of high-end talent from across the cosmos to compete in the galaxy’s premier wrestling promotion. It is announced that, with funding by the UFSP and several private donors, construction on a brand new, state-of-the-art arena will begin the following year. 2081: Construction on the Deimos Intergalactic Arena begins, with a scheduled completion date of 2086. 2083: Rule-Breaking in the D.W.F begins to rise at an alarming rate, forcing Omega and Morpheus to take steps to curb the outbreak of unsanctioned and illegal violence. The UFSP steps in, creating friction between them and the DWF governing body headed by Omega and Morpheus. 2084: The Code Enforcer is brought in by Omega and Morpheus in the hopes of wrangling in the rule-breakers as well as forcing the UFSP to back off with its interference in their running of the promotion. 2085: Due to backstage tensions between Morpheus and the UFSP, Morpheus leaves the D.W.F for greener pastures. Secretly, a war between Omega and the UFSP begins over control of the D.W.F. 2086: Thantos breaks Galaxian Code and D.W.F separates from UFSP to become the G.W.F, dropping the ALL-SYSTEMS sanctioning body in the process and vacating all active championships. The Deimos Intergalactic Arena is completed and scheduled to officially be unveiled the following year. Thantos’ breaking of the 10-year old Galaxian Code causes the UFSP ALL-SYSTEMS governing body to separate from D.W.F. In response, D.W.F becomes the GALAXIAN WRESTLING FEDERATION, declaring itself independent from the UFSP and its sanctioning body. G.W.F announces the creation of its own singles and tag titles, the GALAXIAN Championships. The recently retired K.O. KELLER is placed as acting commissioner for the G.W.F and Torin Caelum is brought on as a backstage consultant to help aid Omega and Keller with the various administrative duties required of running a full-time wrestling promotion. ***
Since the GWF is part of the same canon as the D.W.F, and for all intent and purpose is the same fed, I’ll be using some of the EC cards during the first year. Particularly Omega and Sam’s EC cards as well as several other EC wrestlers who have either returned or simply carried over. Assume that anything mentioned from this point on is canon if it conflicts with prior DWF history.
Highlights of the Galaxian Tag Tournament which was held several nights prior are shown at the top of the show…

'THE GALAXIAN ERA BEGINS!'
@ The Deimos Intergalactic Arena – Deimos, moon of Mars [200,000 fans; sold out]
***
Dozens of holo-vid drone cameras circle the massive arena which is filled with over 200,000 wrestling fans from across the galaxy. Fans of all sorts, humanoid and entirely alien, are packed into the recently completed state-of-the-art pro-sports venue.
The house lights in the Deimos Arena dim and familiar music cues up over the gigantic intergalactic arena PA system. The fans begin to buzz and turn their attention to the entrance ramp bathed in red, blue, and yellow spotlights. The music builds to a crescendo and as it hits its zenith, Morpheus bursts through the curtain to a welcoming pop from the fans. It’s Morpheus’ first appearance on Deimos since leaving the D.W.F in 2085 and he is dressed to the nines in a black pin-striped 3-piece silk Venusian suit. He eyes the packed arena before him before proceeding to the ring. Morpheus is all business as he enters the ring and is handed the mic by the ring announcer, who steps aside and allows the former All-Systems champion to speak.
MORPHEUS: THANTOS! You no good ingrate! Omega shoulda left you in the slums where he found you! You’re destroying everything Omega and I worked so hard to create and I won’t let it continue any longer - I can’t! So tonight Gamemaster, I’m laying down the gauntlet and giving you an ultimatum! Omega and I’s dream will carry on. You won’t be the death of it, and if I have to, I’ll personally see to it that this reign of terror of yours is brought to an early end.
With that, Thantos, flanked by the Intergalactic Terrorist, Comrade Terror and the Medieval Headsman, Executioner, is suddenly out of the curtain and standing, menacingly, on the entrance ramp. Boos echo throughout the arena and everything is suddenly swamped in an atmosphere of bad vibes and cruel intentions. A devilish grin creeps across Thantos’ face as the fans shower him with heat. Thantos motions to the henchmen behind him and the 3 villains make there way down to ringside.
Security fights and struggles with angry fans all along the entrance way. The enraged masses do anything they can to get at Thantos and company, but security does a good job keeping the angry throng at bay. They clear a path to the ring for Thantos, Terror, and Executioner even though the 3 villains look as though they’d rather they not. Thantos, ever the master manipulator, plays into the fans hatred for him and taunts the masses, laughing arrogantly as he does so. Thantos instigates the entire way to ringside while Terror and Executioner go after random fans who security have missed.
Morpheus watches the entire scene with a look of utter disgust smeared across his face. Morpheus stares a contemptable hole through Thantos as the 3 villains reach ringside. Thantos inaudibly barks a series of orders at Comrade Terror and Executioner. Terror and Executioner, following Thantos’ instructions, grab the ring announcer and time keeper sitting at ringside and toss them over the railing and into the laps of the fans at ringside.
***
During the chaos at ringside, there is a large commotion in the crowd on the other side of the ring. Suddenly, Brute and Massacre come charging out through the crowd, sending the fans scattering and bodies flying. The huge Gladiators hit the ring with a quickness rarely seen from wrestler’s their size. So quick is their entrance that no one even notices what is taking place until Brute and Massacre have already ambushed Morpheus from behind. The Gladiator’s pummel Morpheus, taking turns giving him DECAPITATORS which leave the Aldabaran grappler in a heap on the canvas.
At that, Thantos is in the ring and gloating, mocking the legend by laying in with exaggerated boots which only further enrages the already furious fans. Thantos acknowledges the fans’ boos and calls for a hot mic.
THANTOS: AHAHAHAHAHA! SHUT UP YOU MARKS! YOU ALL ARE TOO STUPID TO EVEN REALIZE WHEN YOU ARE WITNESSING HISTORY IN THE MAKING! YOU ARE NOW IN THE PRESENCE OF GREATNESS! YOU SHOULD BOW!!!!
Thantos turns his attention to Morpheus, who is beginning to stir on the canvas in front of him. Thantos reaches down and grabs Morpheus by the neck tie and yanks him up. Morpheus grimaces under a fresh mask of blood as Thantos eyes the aging legend.
THANTOS: OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW! I’M GONNA BREAK YOU JUST LIKE I DID THE GALAXIAN CODE!
Thantos, in a display of utter disrespect, spits in Morpheus’ face and then hauls him up and delivers the Satanic Skull Smasher to further add insult to injury! As if on cue, wrestlers from the Hero camp begin filtering out from the curtain and rush down to ringside to make the save for Morpheus. Thantos locks Morpheus into the MASTERLOCK as The Gladiators, with help from Terror and Executioner, create a barrier at ringside. Omega of Cetus leads the assembled FEDERATION DEFENSE FIGHTERS (Star Warrior, Massif) out to make the save for the Cetus champion’s long-time friend and rival. Thantos wrenches on the devastating hold as members of the hero camp clash with the villains at ringside. For several long minutes, the heroes and villains brawl at ringside as Thantos does severe damage to Morpheus’ leg with his MASTERLOCK submission.
The crowd begins popping big as Wolf appears suddenly out from crowd and over the guardrail! Wolf dives in after Thantos, forcing the evil Gamemaster to break the hold and bail out of the ring. Thantos escapes Wolf’s clutches as the Ani-Man dives wildly after him. The Greek Gods, Actagon and Proteus, rush out from the back to join the fight at ringside and soon several more members of the villain camp are out.
The battle between the Hero & villain camps appears to be at a stalemate until THE CODE ENFORCER shows up to tip the scales in the hero’s favor. The Code Enforcer cleans house and The Galaxian Villains have no choice but to retreat and head for dodge against the Heroes’ combined onslaught.
With the villains forced out, medics can be sent out to tend after Morpheus who is writhing in pain in the center of the ring. Omega checks on his old friend who appears to be in bad shape and it becomes difficult for the Cetus Champion to hide his concern. Omega ushers the medics into the ring and calls for Massif to come and help the medics carry Morpheus out to a medical barge which is waiting in the Arena docking area for transport to medical facilities on Mars.
*Morpheus suffers Moderate to Severe Injury [6 Cards]*
***
Thantos stands backstage with the assembled force of the Villain camp. Comrade Terror and Executioner stand on either side of the Evil Gamemaster. The Gladiators lurk further in the background along with Exo-King and the Royal Court.
THANTOS: I’m not finished! Not until every last vestige of the old guard is laid to waste. Omega! You’re old! Your time is up! As for your boy, Star Warrior, I’ll be seeing him real soon. Hahahahaahahahahahaha!
***
-Galaxian Championship Tournament; Opening Round-
1.Wolf DEF. Executioner, submitting the masked headsman with SAVAGE FACE CLAW
***
Backstage, Thantos stands with the Royal Court - Exo-King, Death Knight, and Killer Queen.
THANTOS: The Death Knight has been specifically constructed to challenge you Omega. Death Knights only purpose – his only reason for existing, is to destroy you and bring your miserable career to an end! He’ll never stop! He’ll never give up!
EXO-KING: All hail the king and his Royal Court! Thantos has brought us to the GWF to help him defeat the Galaxian Heroes, in particular, those pathetic serfs who make up the Federation Defense Fighters. I have my sights set on Massif. Omega claims he is the biggest man in the GWF and his strength has no equal. Well I am here to show the entire Galaxy that Omega is mistaken and that it is I, Exo-King, who stands atop the mountain as the federation’s strongest fighter.
Exo-King flexes his cybernetic arms, the augmented muscles flaring and bulging with rippling, untapped bio-mechanical power.
***
2.Omega of Cetus DEF. Death Knight, pinning the robotic competitor following TOMAHAWK THRUST.
3.Lord Nexus DEF. Comrade Terror by DQ when Terror ignored the ref’s warnings and attacked Nexus with a steel chair at ringside.
4. Exo-King DEF. Commander Sam, pinning the aging veteran with a devastating piledriver.
5.Star Warrior DEF. Vanity in a very athletic bout with the NOVA LAUNCH.
6.Invincible Krakan (w/ Mutant) DEF. Massif following interference from Mutant, allowing him to pin his much bigger opponent with FALLING FACE SLAM.
7.Mighty Grogan DEF. Killer Queen with UPPER CRUSH.
***
Commissioner K.O. Keller comes down to the ring along with Torin Celum. Both men are wearing suits, a far cry from the wrestling gear of their in-ring days. It takes the fans a moment to adjust to, but by the time Keller and Caelum are in the ring, the fans have acclimated to the new status quo and are cheering the former D.W.F stars.
Keller thanks the fans for the welcome before getting right to the business at hand. Keller announces that the next match, the final match of the opening round of the Galaxian Title Tournament, was originally scheduled to showcase Morpheus vs. Thantos, although, because of the events which took place at the top of the show, Morpheus would be unable to compete in the match.
The fans begin to boo in response, but Keller calms them down by announcing that rather than give The Evil Gamemaster a free pass to the next round, he and Caelum have rebooked the match. Keller allows a beat to pass before announcing that Thantos will face none other than THE CODE ENFORCER in the final match of the first round of the Galaxian tournament. The fans pop huge and Keller and Caelum throw each other a nice big smile in response. With that, The Code Enforcer comes out from the back sans entrance music to raucous cheers from the suddenly re-energized fans.
The Code Enforcer hits the ring and takes the time to shake both Caelum and Keller’s hands. Keller and Caelum then exit as the ref for the next match is brought out.
***
8.Thantos DEF. Code Enforcer in a wild brawl when he pinned the Federation’s masked enforcer following Satanic Skull Smasher.
***
Brute and Massacre – the Gladiators of Aethra – stand in front of a 10-foot-high and 10-foot-wide wall of vid-monitors with giant, Ultra HD screens placed in 5x5 rows. The vid screens play footage from various pro-wrestling feds from across the galaxy, including the forbearer to the GWF, the DWF. The center monitor directly behind the Gladiators plays clips from the DWF, in particular, footage of Omega and Morpheus, the federation’s founders.
Brute towers over the smaller Massacre, who smokes on a large, smoldering cigar. Massacre takes a heavy drag off the cigar and blows a thick plume of smoke out of his mouth; it filters out through his tooth-filled grin. Brute twitches with nervous energy behind Massacre, wringing his massive hands with sinister intention.
MASSACRE: Wolf! You signed your own death warrant the day you decided to turn your back on the Gladiators! I always told Brute you were nothin but Andromedan trash and we’d be better off exterminatin ya with the rest of yer filthy race – but ole Brute here, he’s just a big ole softy and he saw headbanging potential in ya. He’s the only reason I never removed yer head from yer neck you mutt! Now the chains are off and there won’t be any quarter given! The Gladiators are declarin war on you and we won’t stop until there ain’t nothin left!
Massacre motions to Brute behind him.
MASSACRE: Show em Brute!
With a wild-eyed grin, Brute roars to sudden and powerful life and drives a huge elbow into the center monitor on the wall behind them! Brute’s gigantic elbow rips through the sheer monitor glass with terrifying ease, destroying it in an explosion of electricity and glass!
Massacre laughs wildly as he is showered with electric sparks and hot glass.
MASSACRE: Ahahahahahahahahaha!

-Galaxian Championship Tournament Quarter-Finals-
9.Omega of Cetus DEF. Wolf in a great match to open the second round when he pinned the fan favorite Ani-Man with COSMIC WAR DANCE.
10.Exo-King DEF. Lord Nexus, forcing the Fighting Titan to pass out in the DEATH VISE.
11.Star Warrior DEF. Invincible Krakan (w/Mutant) despite repeated interference by Mutant when he pinned the Leader of the Society of Death with NOVA LAUNCH.
12.Thantos DEF. Mighty Grogan, coming back to submit the aging giant with MASTERLOCK.
***
-Galaxian Championship Tournament Semi-Finals-
13.Omega of Cetus DEF. Exo-King in an absolute war when he pinned the Cybernetic King following a pair of TOMAHAWK THRUSTS.
14.Thantos DEF. Star Warrior in a much-anticipated match following a Satanic Skull Smasher / MASTERLOCK combo.
***
15.GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, The Gladiators DEF. The Greek Gods to retain the titles when Brute pinned Actagon following DECAPITATOR.
After the match, Wolf runs out from the back after the Gladiators with a massive steel chain connected to a heavy spiked dog collar around his neck! He dives into the ring trying to get his hands on both Brute and Massacre. Brute wants to stay and fight, but Massacre wisely ushers his hulking teammate out of the ring along with him as Wolf swings the massive chain around in a furious madness!
Brute and Massacre bail out to the floor but don’t immediately head to the back. They hang around at ringside to taunt Wolf who is frothing mad and looking for a fight. The Gladiators seem to take great pleasure in egging on the wild Ani-Man with the heavy Andromedan Steel Chain. Wolf bears his teeth at the mocking Gladiators, showing the tag champs his gnarled fangs. Wolf howls, letting the Gladiators know that the war is on! Brute and Massacre reply with grinning head nods before taking their title belts and exiting the arena floor. With the Gladiators gone, Wolf turns his attention to the Greek Gods who are beginning to stir following their failed bid for the Galaxian Tag belts. Proteus and Actagon thank Wolf for the save as they get to their feet, still a bit woozy from the beating they endured at the hands of the Gladiators.
WOLF: AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I’m wild by nature and Thantos’ first mistake was tryin to control my animal instinct! I won’t be caged and used to play someone else’s game. I fight for me – cuz I LOVE IT! I welcome any challenge…especially yours Brute and Massacre! I fear nothing – no man nor animal. You two want a war?!
A beat passes as Wolf throws a determined look at the Greek Gods who stand with him in the center of the ring. They return the look, their eyes alive with the fury of battle. Wolf howls in response.
WOLF: PERFECT! ITS RIGHT UP MY ALLEY … THEIRS TOO!!! I’ve been lookin for a good fight fer some time now and you two are just what I need to satiate my wild, brawling appetite! Whenever, wherever – I don’t care! BRING IT ON!! AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
***
-Galaxian Championship Tournament Final-
16.Thantos DEF. Omega of Cetus to WIN the GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP when he forced the Cetus legend to submit to THE MASTERLOCK.
During the closing minutes of the match, wrestlers from Omega’s hero camp begins to come out of the back and watch from the ramp. Partly to witness the historical moment in person and party as a precaution should Thantos decide to go after Omega post- match.
Their presence has the intended effect as after his victory, rather than continuing to apply the Masterlock, Thantos releases the hold and allows the ref to raise his hand as he is announced the winner of the match and Galaxian Championship. The arena is filled with boos as K.O. Keller and Torin Caelum present Thantos with the brand new Galaxian Championship belt. Keller and Caelum appear somewhat distraught as Thantos takes the belt to celebrates his victory, but quickly move on to check on their old friend Omega, who is stirring very slowly on the ring mat. Omega has definitely been beaten up but remains uninjured which is a relief to all of the heroes who flooded out from the back to watch the finish of the match.
***
Thantos celebrates his victory backstage, the massive and ornately decorated Galaxian Championship belt proudly around his waist. The belt’s size remains impressive even against Thantos’ big athletic frame.
THANTOS: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! A new era has arrived, and the game is on! The tired old man Omega never stood a chance against the Evil Gamemaster and tonight he felt, for the first time, the agony of defeat! The Masterlock breaks everyone, no exceptions! I will pick up where Dorado Sundown left off so many years ago and end the bloated, exaggerated career of that old fool Omega and if that pathetic, do-gooder son of his, Star Warrior, tries to interfere, I’ll put him in his place as well! The wheels have already been set in motion, nothing can stop it now. This federation is mine! The war for the hearts and minds of the fans and for control of the G.W.F that is to no doubt come is simply a formality.
A beat passes as Thantos gathers his thoughts.
THANTOS: I don’t know what happened to you Morpheus during your time away, but the man who I broke earlier tonight is not the same man who pulled me aside all those years ago and showed me the ropes. You’ve gone soft – sentimental! You showed weakness and you paid for it! Of course, you’ll recover, even walk again, merely a courtesy on my part for all you did for me when I was first breaking into the sport along with Star Warrior as the Gamemasters. It won’t happen again, so for your own good, stay gone!
Thantos’ thoughts turn from Morpheus to the other founder, Omega of Cetus. Thantos’ face begins to twist in the erupting throes of anger that boil up at the mere thought of the Cetus legend.
THANTOS: As for you Omega, I owe you no such favors. You always held me back in favor of your own son even though it was obvious to all that I was the more talented of the two of us and destined for far greater heights. Nepotism at its finest old man! Well, I now stand here as GALAXIAN Champion, a title that cements me, the Evil Gamemaster, as the top talent in this federation and I promise you, it’ll take an army to wrest it away form me - So do your best Omega. Recruit the best of the best, the foolish and the brave, and send them after this belt and I’ll put them down one by one as I continue my march towards history.
Thantos takes a moment to appreciate the giant gold belt around his waist, the backstage lights dancing off the surface of the belt’s elegantly decorated front plate, illuminating in extravagant detail the ornate artistry that went into it’s creation.
THANTOS: No matter what you do or who you send after me, it’ll never be enough because the fire that rages inside my belly burns with the fervent heat of a thousand suns, tempered by years of being overlooked and dismissed! It took tragedy to open my eyes and now I owe everything to Sin and Salvation, especially Sin, who forever scared me and mutilated my face. He left me with a reminder to never again let weak human emotions like sentimentality or altruism cloud my head in my quest for unmatched greatness. Whatever it may take Omega! Look into my face old man, take a good hard look, because this face is the visage of your ultimate downfall – my success will be your greatest failure!!!
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Thantos laughs maniacally as the credits roll and the screen fades to black.

hopefully I can keep continuity straight as I jump back and forth. Though, I can foreshadow things in one fed era and pay them off down the line in the other, which might be neat.
