Who will sign QB Kirk Cousins? Great question. Hearing the Jets will top all offers, including giving him 60 million year 1. Denver wants him bad but may not be able to compete w that. Browns are a dark horse. They also have tons of cap room and could gift Kirk a star RB by drafting Barkley 1st overall. Would give Cleveland a hell of a one-two punch.

I'd like to see the Browns but I think it will be the Jets.

Looks like that rumor about the Jets giving Cousins 60 million up front was fake news (shocker)
The New York Daily News reports the Jets would "absolutely love" to sign free agent Kirk Cousins, but that they will not "give him a blank check."
Reporter Manish Mehta calls the idea that the Jets would give Cousins $60 million in the first year of his contract "beyond ludicrous." Mehta says the Jets "are not going to try to bring (Cousins) aboard by any means necessary." The Jets have roughly $90 million in cap space, but the $60 million number was always fanciful, as a player's second-year cap hit must be at least 50 percent of the first. That would mean the Jets would have to commit $90 million of Cousins' mega contract to 2018-19. Despite Mehta's report, it's still quite possible the Jets are willing to go above and beyond anyone else to land the former fourth-rounder.

Miami Dolphins possibly entering the KC sweepstakes by trading WR Jarvis Landry and cutting Suh. Frees up a ton of money.

I have no idea as to who may sign Cousins, but IMO, I think Denver would be the best spot for everyone involved even though I'm not a very big Kirk Cousins fan.
He does deserve props for the way he was able to get one over on Washington in forcing them to franchise him for multiple years in a row. Because of that, he's going to get paid like a top end QB even though he really isn't one, which, like the guy or not, you gotta give him his due for manipulating the situation like a boss.

Rumor is the Cardinals are trying to make a big push for him though they don't have a huge amount of free money.
