This is an excellent fed - I'd like to nominate Thunderkitty for the kissing booth, or perhaps give her a spot next to The Bearded Lady. That could be interesting.

Wae Mest, ok my interest has peaked. I gotta make sure I stash that 75 cent admission fee away so I can get an up close look at the action. In the ring I means, get your mind out of the gutter folks Hey cruefan68! LOL. No worries my man. I'm grateful for your interest and support brother. Posting the results of the next card soon. Hope it's worth the 75 cents!

Olde Wrestling Federation ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Extravaganza Number 5. Championship Exhibitions. Friday, March 1st, 1929. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Match Results :
Senator Cameron S. Sheppard vs "The Bearded Lady" Mary Elizabeth Monroe
▪ After frustrating her opponent with her heart and superior tenacity, "The Bearded Lady" Mary Elizabeth Monroe ( 2 fatigue ) defeated Senator Cameron S. Sheppard ( 0 fatigue ) by Disqualification at the 6 minute mark. Sheppard was disqualified after breaking open Monroe's face on the front row wooden bench.
(The crowd was disgusted by the brutality shown to Ms. Monroe and they displayed it by showering Sheppard with boos, food and even some beer thrown in Shepparss face. Before Ms. Monroe's tag partner Marion Fontaine could come to her defense, a young disfugured man named Joe Young, swiftly emerged from the crowd, grabbed Sheppard and effortlessly power slammed him onto the cold ground - as a result the crowd roared in appreciation even while Dr. Scalpel and Nurse Hemmorage slowly revived the semi unconscious Sheppard).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"The Handlebar Habidasher" Marion Fontaine vs "Big" Sue Jackson
▪ "Big" Sue Jackson ( 0 fatigue ) took it to "The Handlebar Habidasher" Marion Fontaine ( 1 fatigue ) by utilizing his strength and size to defeat him by Pinfall. Jackson pinned Fontaine courtesy of his CLOSE SHAVE finisher - A Forward Falling Spinebuster at the 3 minute mark.
(The crowd was not to pleased with Jackson's victory here, neither were our struggling house comedians Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. Lou hid behind Bud as Jackson lumbered sinisterly past them. To Lou, he looked like the type that ties women to train tracks in his spare time).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Jollyville Jeepers - Clean & Jerk vs Crime & Punnishment - Judge Hugo Lexington Black & Agent Dick J Lahart
▪ Shortly after Jerk ( 0 fatigue ) Monkey Flipped Agent Dick J. Lahart over the ropes, Lahart quickly countered with a 2 x 4 to Jerk's head ( 0 fatigue ) outside the ring - which awarded the match to The Jollyville Jeepers via Disqualification in under 1 minute.
(As Judge Hugo Lexington Black ran for safety, The Jeepers beat the absolute daylights out of Lahart until the somewhat effective security team of Hook, Line and Sinker were able to plead them to let the bloody and twitching Lahart go. In the shadows, A man wearing a long black trench coat with the colar turned up and a black fidora that partially covered his face, watched Judge Black's cowardly retreat with utter contempt).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Burly" Bill Taylor vs "Felino Blanco" Louis Lyndon
▪ "Burly" Bill Taylor ( 0 fatigue ) outbrawled and even brutally stomped "Felino Blanco" Louis Lyndon ( 2 fatigue ) into defeat via Pinfall. Taylor executed his Pendulum Backbreaker to perfection at the 6 minute mark and stepped on London's chest with just one foot for the three count.
(The crowd at The OWF predominantly rooted for the face wrestlers and there was an uneasy sense that this was the heels night to shine here, which nervously spiked the anticipation of the upcoming title matches. Abbott and Costello did they're best in between the matches from inside the ring):
Bud Abbott - Say Lou...
Lou Costello - Yeah Bud...
Bud Abbott - Look at all the beautiful girls here tonight, say we gotta play our cards right if we stand a chance of...
Lou Costello - Hold on wait a minute...what about those two girls we had last Friday?
Bud Abbott - Oh now look, let's not...
Lou Costello - You had the better looking one!
Bud Abbott - Look...so what?
Lou Costello - Your's had teeth!...did you see that tooth?
Bud Abbott - (screwing his eyes up to the roof) - Well...yes I did happen to see that...
Lou Costello - Mine had had so much bridge work, everytime I tried to kiss her I had to pay toll..
Bud Abbott - (throws his hands up) - Oh what's the use...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
The Vaudvillians - Valentino & King challenge your World Tag Team Champions - Prohibition (c) - Samson & Cross for the World Tag Titles.
▪ To a standing ovation chock full of HUZZAH's, World Tag Team Champions - Prohibition successfully defended their titles against The Vaudvillians, winning the match via Pinfall. As Jock Samson ( 0 fatigue ) pinned "Old Timer" Jeff King ( 2 fatigue ) with his PILEDRIVER finisher at the 6 minute mark, Matthew Cross unceremoniously launched an advancing Nicholas Valentino out of the ring and Gorilla Pressed and Slammed Valentino into our time keeper's (Not So Big Ben's) table - completely decimating it.
☆☆☆ Prohibition retains the World Tag Titles - A Successful Version One Defense ☆☆☆
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
YOUR MAIN EVENT WORLD TITLE MATCH
Representative Gavin Q. Volstead challenges The World Champion Dr. Jacob Omen for the World Title.
▪ Withstanding as much punnishment and underhanded tactics as he could, World Champion Dr. Jacob Omen ( 3 fatigue ) loses the World Title to Representative Gavin Q. Volstead ( 0 fatigue ) by Pinfall. Volstead pinned Omen courtesy of his KICK BACK finisher - An Enziguri to Omen in a prone kneeling position as blood trickled down his face at the 9 minute mark.
(Volstead had slashed open Omen's forehead with a small pocket knife early on in the match, from that point on, Dr. Omen just wasn't the same. The crowd was extremely upset with this because our ref - Public Enemy No. 1 didn't even see it).
☆☆☆ Representative Gavin Q Volstead defeats Dr. Jacob Omen to win the World Championship Title ☆☆☆

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crowd Chatter / Happenings / Hooplah :
▪ The big story tonight along with the results of our first Championship Title Defenses were the hirings done this time soley by Judge Hugo Lexington Black, Master Inky Scops was kept in the dark until now on the following hires and roster changes.
▪ Womens Division Launch - The OWF will now sanction a OWF Womens World Championship Belt, and the following three ladies are now women wrestlers within the OWF:
1. Ms. Charly Chan - a lady wrestler that is billed as being from China but according to some she appears of more Mongolian descent. She will now also form a ladies tag team with "The Bearded Lady" Mary Elizabeth Monroe - keeping the team name "The Trailblazers"
2. "Kickin" Kimber Lee - An agile and leggy womens wrestler who is also a bonafide blonde bombshell "Flapper" girl, she knows it and struts it every chance she can...and quite well.
3. Rosie "The Riveter" - A stockier built woman than Ms. Lee who definitely brings some natural tag team skills to the ring. She and "Kickin" Kimber Lee will also form a tag team called, "Angels With Dirty Faces".
▪ (5) Mens Division New Hires and Roster Shift:
1. "Happy" John Mulraney - A bare knuckles boxer, also from within the 5 points section of Lower Manhattan in New York City. He is a descendant of Happy Jack Mulraney, a former member of the Dead Rabbits Irish Gang. Happy John will now team up with Marion Fontaine assuming the name - "The Dead Rabbits".
2. Father Flanagan - A man coincidentally named as such who is as equally coincidentally from Boys Town - the foster home for lost and orphaned boys. He will be competing and tagging with a troubled boy he has adopted from within Boys Town itself.
3. "Mighty" Joe Young - A very powerful young man who was born with some genetic facial and physical abnormalities who is the adopted child of Father Flanagan. Tired of being treated so differently & with his father so tired of their internal politics, they decided to leave Boy's Town altogether and both give competetive wrestling a try.
4 & 5. "The Sicilian Connection" - A masked tag team that wears jet black masks, billed as being from Sicily, but are originally from the city of Brooklyn in New York State. It is the hiring of these two individuals that chills Master Inky Scoops to the bone and makes our fortune teller Madam Destiny cross herself whenever she sees them.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Coming Up Soon :
Top Turnbuckle Tribune covering Next Weeks Wrestling Extravaganza No. 6 scheduled for Friday, March 8th, 1929 !
As the crowd thinned out after tonights exhibitions, Bob the Barker and Wae Mest still sat in our big red barn arena and talked together for a long time. He then slowly walked her back to her cocktail waitress job at the hotel.
Have a good one all !
Bri.

Ouch! Pretty humiliating loss for Felino Blanco... And it was pretty disappointing that Dr Omen dropped the title to Rep Volstead... On the bright side, at least Prohibition were able to hang onto the tag belts... Another fun show!
