Ouch! Pretty humiliating loss for Felino Blanco... And it was pretty disappointing that Dr Omen dropped the title to Rep Volstead... On the bright side, at least Prohibition were able to hang onto the tag belts... Another fun show! Hey Pariah! I am glad you enjoyed this past card my friend. Dr. Omen losing the title to Volstead was definitely a bummer. But as you said - Prohibition had a successful first title defense and that made my day. It still bugs me out that we are running feds just about 200 years apart from each other in time. Thanks (as always) for being in the seats! |

I don't plan on adding to much more to the OWF, (if at all - depending upon whether or not we get more sets in this line), but I have some ideas for these folks. Appreciate you being a part of this my friend. |

Hello everyone.
Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all who voted for this little blast from the past in the fed voting, I was really suprised.
It is truly humbling and a great honor!

I paid my 75 cents admission to get into the hall and who do I see? That same copper that arrested me last time! He thought I snuck in again and he chased me around with his billy club. Soon he was joined by other coppers and they had me running for my life I tells ya. I finally ducked around a beer barrel and watched as those crazy coppers screeched to a halt and crashed into each other!
They went off in different directions and I, well after I used my pocket knife to open up and take some sips out of that barrel, made my way in and found a seat to take in the action. And what action it was I tells ya. That world title match did not go the way I wanted it to but heck I witnessed history here in 1929 as Volstead snagged the gold from Omen. Omen was a bloody mess and if I didn't know better I would say that Volstead used a pocket knife on him. Come to think of it my pocket knife is missing but you don't think? Nah, impossible. Then again maybe it fell out of my pocket and Volstead found it. If those coppers find out Volstead may have used my knife to assault Omen I could wind up back in the slammer. Woe is me.
I enjoyed the rest of the matches, especially Prohibition retaining the tag titles, along with that swell comedy routine by Abbott & Costello. Those guys are going to make it someday I think. I also bumped into Wae Mest and I must say that was an enjoyable experience but then that darn copper spotted me again and it was off to the races. I managed to make my escape and after all of that excitement I would say I for darn sure got my 75 cents worth. Now the question is how will I get that much dough to attend the next card...

I absolutely love the way you dive right into this whole scene. I wouldn't be suprised if Volstead did swipe that pocket knife - the dirty rat! A dirty rat with the title!
