IT'S A SPECIAL FRIDAY, AUGUST 24TH SHOW PUT ON BY THE PROMOTION.....AND WE HAVE A BONO TOURNAMENT CHALLENGE SET FOR THE SHOW!
"The Defiant Wrestling promotion led by gabe72 has been building towards their marquee event; The BONO Tournament and it will begin during Labor Day weekend as part of the KING PF INDIES promotions. Current TRADITION Champion; Jeff Cobb is a part of the historic Tournament and will face Adam Cole (Bay-Bay!) in an opening round match!

In an agreement between Absolute Freedom and Defiant, both Adam Cole and Jeff Cobb have agreed to select opponents for one another before their clash in the Tournament..and tonight will be those matches!"

MATT KNICKS vs. ISAIAS VELAZQUEZ
"Two stallworth's of the Midwest scene for Independent Wrestling and the two vetereans of Freelance Wrestling did not disappoint kicking off the show. It should be noted unlike his debut for this promotion, SoCal Val was not in attendance to see Isaias.

The 2019 Midwest Tournament Champion got off to a quick start connecting with a knee strike followed by a superkick, he quickly then went to the top rope and as he came down he got caught with a spin wheel kick right in the face which led to Velazquez going to the top rope himself to deliver a vicious double stomp for a NEAR fall!

The fan's were up on thier feet in appreciation as these two continued to battle back and fourth in the end it was Matt Knicks thanks to connecting with his FALLING STAR Finisher out of nowhere and was just able to keep Velazquez down for the three count!"

BONO TOURNAMENT CHALLENGE MATCH
TRADITION CHAMPION: JEFF COBB vs. KYLE O'REILLY (w/ Adam Cole in his corner)
"The fans erupted in applause as Adam Cole introduced his long time partner and friend from the Undisputed Era Kyle O' Reilly who got a standing ovation from the fans...the chant THIS IS AWESOME echoed throughout the building as the opening bell sounded. Quickly Kyle took the Tradition Champion down and applied s ankle lock..but that was quickly broke and Cobb got to his feet and delivered a head butt followed up by a hip tossed Kyle over the ropes and to the floor outside the ring!

With the encouragement by Cole, Kyle quick got back in the ring and went toe to toe with Cobb as they traded open hand strikes when suddenly O' Reilly applied his triangle choke right in the center of the ring! Cobb however after a moment of struggle lifted Kyle and launched him off and he went crashing hard into the turnbuckle, bouncing forward right into the Athletic-Plex for a NEAR fall!!

Kyle rolled out of the ring to catch his breath and stop the momentum of his oppent, Cobb suddenly came off the ropes and attempted a suicide dive but just in time Cole pushed Kyle out of the way and the Tradition Champion went crashing hard face first into the steel guard rail getting knocked out! Kyle got Cobb back in the ring and applied a guillotine choke..with Cobb out and bleeding the official quickly called for the bell to end the match, giving the match to O'Reilly!"
AFTER THE MATCH ADAM COLE BAD MOUTHED THE TRADITION CHAMPION AND MOCKED HIM AS HE WAS GETTING HELP TO THE BACK...COLE THEN GRABBED THE MICROPHONE AND TOLD WHOEVER IS BACK THERE AS HIS OPPONENT TONIGHT GET READY TO HAVE THE SAME FATE AS THAT SO CALLED CHAMPION THAT JUST GOT CARTED OUT OF HERE..AND COME SEPTEMBER 1ST YOUR LOOKING AT THE BONO Tournament Champion! AND THAT IS UNDISPUTED!

CHERRY BOMB MADE HER WAY INTO THE RING WITH MICROPHONE IN HAND, ALONG WITH HER TAG TEAM PARTNER KIMBER LEE, TO A MIXED REACTION FROM THE CROWD....
"I did what many did not think I could do that is defeat one of the most celebrated wrestlers ever to come out of Japan Tomoka Nakagawa, I made her bleed and I did it in front of her home country in front of her family, friends and fans...she taught she had the upper hand this whole time..but in the end I was smarter, I lured her into MY trap said the spider to the fly and I disgraced her..so much so she is to be NEVER heard from again!

When you look at me you are looking at a history maker....and that brings me to the SUPER GIRLS Championship....now that I have conquered Japan in one fall swoop....I think it is time to get some gold around my waist...and who better then to take it from then another veteran of the canvas wars, Nichole Mathews!

Nic I saw what you did to your long time partner, Portia Perez and really congrats to you I mean she probably deserved it, but let's be honest sweet heart that is small potatoes compared to what I did in the land of the rising sun...trust me you will find out much sooner then later when that SUPER-GIRLS title is around my much more deserving waist"

BONO TOURNAMENT CHALLENGE MATCH
ADAM COLE vs. MATT RIDDLE
"Cole is in shock as the King of Bro's long time partner and rival of Jeff Cobb makes his way into the Absolute Freedom ring to the roar of the crowd! Cole charged right when the bell rang but got caught with BRO 2 SLEEP Finisher but it was only for a two count as Adam barely escaped before the three count to the shock of the fans!

Riddle would continue to dominate as he nearly took Adan's head off his shoulder with a sick running knee strike! Cole looked out cold, so much so the official checked on him to make sure he could continue and Adam shoved the official right into Matt then out of nowhere delivered a running knee of his own then dropped Riddle right on the back of his head with a German suplex!

Cole then applied a figure four leg lock in the center of the ring..after a few moments Matt Struggled to the riopes for the break and Cole kicked the arm of his opponent with vicious intent and Matt was in pain...brain buster on the knee connected for another near fall for Cole!

Riddle was shot into the ropes and was able to catch Adam flush with another knee strike right into a ring shaking powerbomb for another NEAR fall! Riddle questioned the officials count which got him a superkick to his injured arm and another one to the chin! Adam went for the cover but Matt quickly applied his cross armbreaker submission...but because of hisd arm not being injured Cole was able to roll threw and escape and deliver another super kick right into his PANAMA SUNRISE Finisher for the 3 count and victory!"

AFTER THE MATCH JEFF COBB MADE HIS WAY TO THE RING TO CHECK ON RIDDLE WHO WAS BEING ATTENDED TO BY THE OFFICIAL...ADAM AGAIN TRASH TALKED COBB AND RIDDLE BEFORE COBB DELIVERED A NASTY HEAD BUTT BUSTING THE FOREHEAD OF COLE OPEN WITH A HUGE GASH!!!! COLE FELL BACK LIKE A SACK OF POTATOES AS COBB YOU WOULD THINK DID MORE DAMAGE TO HIMSELF AS WELL WITH WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM EARLIER IN THE NIGHT..BUT THE TWO WANTED TO GO AT EACH OTHER STILL AS OFFICIALS SEPARATED THE TWO AS THE SHOW ENDED

Although I admit I was hoping both Cobb and Riddle would win their mathches, I am really enjoying this fed alot. It is extremely well written and has an excellent use of color. We get 3 votes per quarter for Indy Fed of the Quarter and this along with KB's P3 has 2 of my votes for sure.

Thank you for the kind words, and your and everyone's continued  interest in Absolute Freedom, with so many tremendous promoters and federations on this board, I am humbled by the interest. LANCE HOYT (w/ Haas & Hayden in his corner) vs. RICKY SHANE PAGE
"An absolute wild match, to start the night that began during Page's entrance as Hoyt ran down and delivered a sick boot to the face that busted Page open right from the jump. That drew a sick smile from the Death Match specialist as he would fight back in a big way thanks to a series of elbow strikes then a Russian leg sweep on the concrete!

RSP got Hoyt back in the ring and delivered repeated boot stomps to the fsace of Hoyt, to the point that Charlie Haas got up on the apron in a rage BUT that only led to Ricky smashing him with a pump kick launching the HHH member right off the apron crashing into Barbi Hayden to the concrete!

Lance however would recover and turn his opponent inside out with a STIFF lariat! That led to and F'n slam which would be just enough to hold Page down for the three count and victory!"

AFTER THE MATCH, HHH STOOD IN THE RING WITH LANCE DEMANDING THE MICROPHONE:
"RINGKAMF ohhh it's just getting started...it ends when we say it does and WALTER what I did to you at DEFIANT Wrestling last week was just a glimpse into your future when you cross paths, in the ring out of the ring it dosn't matter! HHH will dismember every member of RINGKAMPF and leave your limbs scattered for the vultures!"
WITH THAT HOYT SLAMS DOWN THE MICROPHONE AND HHH LEAVES THE BUILDING



TRIPLE THREAT TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
(C) JEFF COBB vs ADAM COLE vs. KYLE O'REILLY
"Alight a lot to cover here and back story, this match was demanded by the champion after O'Reilly beat Cobb on the last Absolute Freedom card and then Cobb losing in the opening round of Defiant's BONO Tournament by Adam Cole. It should also be noted that the very first DEFIANT Champion and BONO Tournament winner defeating Adam Cole in the final...Dan Severn with belt in hand made his way to the front row to watch this match.

Adam Cole came out and immediately went over to Severn and the twp went face to face, Cole was talking trash to the Defiant champ when out of nowhere the Tradition Champion Jeff Cobb smashed Cole right in the face with the Tradition Title busting him open!

Just like Cole did to Cobb to get the victory over him in BONO...turn about is fair play although Cobb was met with some boo's after delivering some pay back.

Cobb tossed in Adam and went for a quick cover but O'Reilly stormed to the ring climbed to the top rope and delivered a nasty double stomp right on the back of Cobb's neck and head to break up the three count! Kyle went to check on his long time friend Cole to see if he was ok despite the blood flowing out of his head...Adam nodded he was ok and O' Reilly connected suddenly with his triple butter fly suplex and cover combination for a NEAR fall!

Cole slowly got up to question Kyle when Cobb recovered and took out O'Reilly with a violent shoulder tackle launching him out of the ring! Then looked at Cole who could barely stand but slapped the Tradition Champ in defiance and yelled at him to come on and finish i! with that Cobb delivered a pump handle fall away slam! Cole kicked out before the three and delivered a super kick right to the face of Jeff to the cheers of the fans!

Only for a two count as the champ kicked out! Cole again slapped Cobb and told him to finish it and that is when Jeff took Cole for a TOUR OF THE ISLANDS for the three count and victory!"


QUEEN OF INDIES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

(C) SARAYA KNIGHT vs. SUPER GIRLS CHAMPION: NICOLE MATTHEWS
"Absolute Freedom was thrilled to book this match for the King of Indies and it did not disappoint these two athletes tore into each other for nearly 25 minutes. Knight got the early advantage thanks to some stiff forearms in the corner and tossing Matthews out of said corner by the hair and connecting with a corner dropkick for a near fall

Nichole after escaping the pin rolled to the outside, Knight had no problem taking to the outside and the two went back in fourth with chops! and Nicole hit a rolling elbow smash got her opponent back in the ring and applied the lion tamer in the center of the ring...knight was in trouble but was able to reach the ropes for the break and Matthews would come off the ropes with another elbow strike right to the head of Saraya knocking her out of the ring to the concrete.

Nichole went again outside to continue her assault went suddenly Cherry Bomb come down to ringside, the same Cherry Bomb that Nichole Matthews defeated during Night 1 of Defiant's Night One of the BONO Tournament...the two stood toe to toe when out of nowhere Kelli Slater attacked Cherry slamming her into the steel guardrail!

This brought out Kimber Lee who went right after Slater and Cherry recovered and the two beat the hell out of Slater, meanwhile in the ring Matthews looked to put away Knight as she came off the top rope but got caught and spiked right on her head via a DDT!...but was able to kick out right before the three count!

Knight came off the ropes but she got caught with a lariat! Nichole would climb again to the top and again get caught with a boot to the face! A running Samoan Drop by Knight for the pin BUT only got 2 as Matthews refuses to stay down! Knight would finally get the victory thanks to her BRIDLED ROCKING HORSE Finisher to escape with her championship. Fans gave Nicole a standing ovation and chanted please come back to end the show"

FRED YEHI vs. CRAIG MITCHELL (w/ Dominic Garrini in his corner)
"These two rivals began brawling in the isle way before the bell even rang to start the match, eventually after several minutes they would end back in the ring where Yehi got the early advantage thanks to an exploder suplex and a German suplex dropping Mitchell on his head with no remorse.

Mitchell with the encouragement of Dominic in his corner got back to his feet and started gaining offensive advantage thanks to a dropkick then a big man moonsault for a NEAR fall.

The two would get to their feet and exchange strikes in the center of the ring in which Mitchell thanks to a nasty right jab to the side of Yehi would get the advantage and deliver his powerbomb piledriver right in the middle of the ring only to get a two count which brought Garrini to the ring apron and argue the count to the official.

As the referee was distracted Yehi took out Mitchell with a forearm strike to the back of the head right into his Orange Yehi-Plex, with Mitchell out cold, Fred went outside the ring grabbed a steel chair took Dom off the ring apron and smashed him with a steel chair right in the head!

Yehi dropped the chair got the microphone and entered the ring...."Severn you know damn well we ain't finished...I am coming and I will mow threw any of your "young lions" I have to...we got some unfinished business..and you best believe I will be watching your DEFIANT Title defense against Ricochet on the 22nd of September....I will see you soon BEAST, but until then I leave you with this image"

Yehi then grabbed the arm of the downed Mitchell and snapped it backwards..surely breaking it with the scream Mitchell in agony Yehi left the ring with officials ans medical staff attending to both Craig and Domonic"

COURTNEY RUSH vs. SHAZZA MCKENZIE
"Very competitive match that saw several near falls for both, will say McKenzie had more opportunities to put Rush away but to Courtney's toughness the more her opponent took it to her the more Rush seemed to like it.

Shazza thought she finally had the match won thanks to her Shazza Driver but Courtney barely got her shoulder up to avoid the pin. McKenzie then shot her opponent into the ropes only to get caught with a vicious knee strike leading to Courtney hitting her OLYMPIC SLAM Finisher to which she thought would give her the victory...but suddenly...the lights began to flicker and go out in the building when suddenly a joker like laugh echoed throughout the building repeating over and over again until the lights suddenly came back on and McKenzie had recovered and dropped Rush with her SHAZTASTIC STUNNER Finiher for the three count and victory!

Courtney crawled to the corner with a deranged look on her face for just a moment, then went to the official and pleaded her case with the lights going out in the building..the ref dismissed her claims as McKenzie celebrated her vicrory in the ring with Chris Brookes of CCK"

KING OF THE INDIES WORLD TITLE NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS MATCH
CHUCK TAYLOR vs. MATT RIDDLE

"Once again Absolute Freedom is proud to have another contest involving the KING OF INDIES promotions..and these two men in Taylor and Riddle have held many titles under the KOTI umbrella including battling over the TRADITION Title.

These two are no strangers to one another and it showed in this brutal contest, as they went right at each other, the Kentucky Gentlemen connected with a sommersault suicide dive onto the newest NXT star to the delight of the fans and continued with chops to Riddle who did finally respond with a springboard onto the apron knee strike to Taylor to the concrete floor!

Taylor was busted wide open perhaps a broken nose but fought back as both men got back in the ring he hit a running dropkick followed with a back elbow strike in the corner and nearly got the pin when he launched Riddle with a nasty turnbuckle bomb!

Both men exhausted slowely got to their feet a super bro punched connected to the bloody face of Taylor into rolling gut wresnch suplexes over and over but Taylor would not only stay down despite all the punishment he would fight back in a big way and again nearly get the victory after a big boot right to the face...he came off the ropes again but got caught by Riddle whom delivered his BRO 2 SLEEP Finisher to finally get the three count and victory to become number 1 contender for the KOTI Championship.

After the match a standing ovation who slowly made it to his feet and despite medical staff present left the ring under his own power...he now will head to HEARTLAND wrestling to face Jeff Cobb to try to regain the TRADITION Championship"

TESSA BLANCHARD vs. SAMANTHA HEIGHTS
"These two have developed maybe the most underappreciated rivalry in this promotions young history, Tessa made quite the impact in Absolute Freedom at the expense of Samantha BUT since that night Heights to the surprise of many has the advantage over Blanchard.

And the Ohio native can add tonight as ANOTHER victory up on her...but it took everything she had thanks to Blanchard coming out like gang busters and really showed why she is one of the best wrestlers male or female in all of wrestling today.

A back elbow and dropkick combo got it started followed up with a nasty running neck breaker right into her DOUBLE KNEE FACE-BREAKER Finisher BUT only for a two count! Tessa was in absolute shock that the match continued as Heights pulled herself up in the corner, Blanchard rushed into that corner and got caught by a sick upper cut by Samantha who followed up quickly with her drive by kick to the face to get another three count and victory on Tessa again to the sahock to some in the crowd!"

AFTER THE MATCH, TESSA SAT UP IN SHOCK AS SHE WATCHED NOT ONLY SAMANTHA CELEBRATE IN THE RING BUT COME OVER TO HER AND HOLD UP FOUR FINGERS, SOMETHING TESSA IS VERY FAMILIAR WITH AND HEIGHTS WOULD SLOWLY BRING DOWN EACH FINGER WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE MIDDLE ONE TO FLIP BLANCHARD OFF AS SHE LEAVES THE RING CELEBRATING WITH THE FANS

MATCH NOTES:
The DEFIANT Champion; Dan Severn was in the corner of Dominic Garrini, who dedicated this match to his teammate Craig Mitchell who suffered a severe injury at the hands of Fred Yehi at the last Absolute Freedom event.

Yehi and Garrini went at each other threw this entire match at a fierce pace, it should be noted Yehi who was eliminated earlier in the match and got in the face of his long time rival Severn, to the point that they brawled on the outside, Yehi got the title belt and smashed in the face of not only the champion but also got up on the apron and smashed Dominic leading to his elimination!...Severn recovered and again he and Yehi went at each other!

Security had to separate the two, regardless Lance Hoyt of HHH now will get a TRADITION Title match at the end of October when the Tradition Champion whom ever it is comes back from a tour of Ireland.
Hoyt's title match will be during a GOLD RUSH Wrestling event, the newest promotion in the KING OF INDIES


SUPER-GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
(C) NICHOLE MATTHEWS vs. TOMOKA NAKAGAWA
"A standing for both ladies who are back in a Absolute Freedom ring, this is the first time the crowd has seen Tomoka since she lost her first blood match to Cherry Bomb in Japan a few months back.

These two showed respect to one another as the bell rang to begin the match, the champ used her strength and size advantage early on the match via consecutive fall away slams and a German suplex starting the suplex city chant by the fans. Lion-tamer applied as the champ looked for a submission victory over the Japan legend...not to be as Nakagawa reached the ropes for the break and quickly connected with a flying dropkick...step up enzuigiri and showing off her strength by delivering a bridging fisherman's suplex for a NEAR victory!

The two would battle back and fourth with strikes in the center of the ring until Tomoka dropped Nichole out of the ring via a lariat...Nakagawa then went for broke as she went for a missile suicide dive threw the ropes to the outside and missed crashing into the steel guard rail!

Matthews recovered and tossed her opponent back in the ring and hit her neck breaker DDT combo but ONLY for a two count to the shock of everyone!

Tomoka slowly got back to her feet as blood began to pour from her forehead...this brought Cherry Bomb to ringside, Tomoka saw her rival and jumped outside the ring and grab a steel chair and go face to face with her long time rival...you could just feel the tension between these two as the crowd erupted in anticipation!

Suddenly Nakagawa went back in the ring and smashed Matthews in the head with the chair causing the official to ring the bell as he has disqualified Nakagawa! Tomoka raised the dented chair and with blood still streaming down her face screamed to Cherry Bomb two simple words "Kill YOU!"

Security came down to escort Tomoka out of the building for medical attention, as Cherry Bomb went to the back and a pissed off Nicole Matthews recovered in the ring with her title to end the show"
