Rock-n-Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) vs. Original Midnight Express (Randy Rose & Dennis Conrey) vs. Jim Cornette
Rock-n-Roll Express and Original Midnight Express fought to a double count out
-Both teams ran hot as no one missed a tag and they fought in and out of the ring. some great double team action and rope work left fans excited but when all four fought out of the ring after Rose broke up a pin the referee even giving slow count saw them all counted out. (Tokens: Morton: 4 – Gibson: 3 – Rose: 3 – Condrey: 5)
King Kong Bundy w/Bobby Heenan vs. Brutus Beefcake
King Kong Bundy defeated Brutus Beefcake via pin fall
-Bundy just used his power to punish Beefcake. Again his demand for a 5-count nearly cost him on three occasions and Beefcake had him in the SLEEPER until Heenan interfered and Beefcake chased the manager in and out of the ring coming back in Beefcake was squashed with a fourth AVALANCHE and the referee counted three. (Tokens: Bundy: 2 – Beefcake: 5)
Bundy was nearly to the tunnel to the back when he was jumped by the Macho Man who used a chair over and over. Officials managed to get Savage to stop but he had one more chair shot and hit Heenan busting him open when he went to check on Bundy.
Dr. Mike Lano said this was originally supposed to be a match between Sheepherders and Beastly Beauty but upper management decided to alter the match and he prayed they didn’t alter it further.
4-Way Elimination Match:
Sheepherders (Luke Williams & Butch Miller) vs. Beastly Beauty (Gorgeous George & Bruiser Brody) w/Cherie Dupree vs. Georgia Rock (Brad Armstrong & Marty Jannetty) vs. MVC (Steve Williams & Terry Gordy)
MVC defeated Beastly Beauty via pin fall
Order of Elimination
1. Sheepherders were eliminated by Georgia Rock via pin fall
2. Georgia Rock were eliminated by Beastly Beauty via submission
3. Beastly Beauty were eliminated by MVC via pin fall
-the match saw teammates stick with their own partners and while the Sheepherders fought hard they couldn’t handle the agility of the Georgia team and finally Butch was pinned by Jannetty with a superkick. Jannetty was tired and Brody hit him like a runaway freight train. After brutalizing Jannetty like a rag doll, George was in and applied the SPINNING TOE HOLD and Jannetty tapped out. George tried to runaway from Gordy but ran right into Williams and all it took was the Doctor Bomb to get a three count while Gordy brawled with Brody. (Tokens: Butch: 4 – Luke: 5 – Jannetty: 6 – Armstrong: 3)
Buddy Rogers w/Bobby Heenan vs. Blackjack Mulligan
Blackjack Mulligan defeated Buddy Rogers via submission
-Rogers tried to work over Mulligan and got a near fall out of a reversal but that seemed fire up the Texan and after several wicked brawls out of the ring one where Rogers was suplexed thru the announce table and barely made it back in thanks to a bandaged Heenan, Mulligan with the BLACKJACK CLAW had Rogers passing out as Heenan was ignored. (Tokens: Rogers: 2 – Mulligan: 2)
Harley Race vs. Ted DiBiase w/Rock Riddle
Harley Race defeated Ted DiBiase via pin fall
-DiBiase with quick precision got two near falls but Race plodded along and hit a PILEDRIVER. DiBiase kicked out of that and the VERTICAL SUPLEX six times in a row before the last one kept him on the mat for a three count (Tokens: Race: 3 – DiBiase: 7)
Dr. Jacob Omen vs. Johnny Valentine
Johnny Valentine defeated Dr. Jacob Omen via pin fall
-Valentine controlled Omen and didn’t let go at all and in under a minute hit the ATOMIC SKULLCRUSHER and got an easy three count. (Tokens: N/A)
Six-Man Tag Team Match
Boogie Woogie Man & Too Cool (Scott Taylor & Brian Christopher) vs. Pompero Firpo & Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers)
Too Cool & Boogie Woogie Man defeated The Fantastics & Pompero Firpo via pin fall
-Fans were delighted with the trio who nearly lost the match due to playing to the crowd. Boogie brawled with Firpo Christopher hit Rogers with the HIP HOP DROP as Taylor held off Fulton. (Tokens: Firpo: 2 – Taylor: 2 – Christopher: 2 – Rogers: 3 – Fulton: 1)
the fans were delighted by the post match dancing as Boogie Woogie Man and Too Cool danced and the front row was soon involved. It took nearly ten minutes to clear the ring for the main event
MAIN EVENT
Semifinals GTV Tournament Match
Magnum TA vs. Ivan Koloff
Magnum TA defeated Ivan Koloff via pin fall
-Koloff started in control and Magnum countered into dropkicks nearly getting the win. Koloff regained control and sent Magnum into the ropes but a schoolboy rollup got the win. (Tokens: Koloff: 1)
