Jim Cornette stood at ringside with Paul Ellering and they welcomed fans to the renovated Legends Ballroom and the first show of Immortals Wrestling the pilot episode Genesis. Tonight was the Immortals Rumble. Earlier today wrestlers drew their numbers for when they would enter. The wrestlers who drew #1 & #2 would start the match and after ninety seconds #3 would enter. Every ninety seconds a new wrestler would enter until the last man standing in the ring was declared the winner of would become the Immortals Heavyweight Champion. Cornette reminded fans the only way to be eliminated was to be tossed over the top rope and both feet had to touch the floor.

-the shock of seeing the Road Warriors starting against each other saw neither man holding back hitting each other hard as they could. When Curt Henning entered he became their target as they took turns cutting off Henning’s offense. Gorgeous George arrived and attacked Hawk easing up the pressure on a battered Henning. The four fight and Henning barely avoids elimination. JJ Dillon makes it to the ring and aids Henning against Animal. The Road Warriors work together and put down all three men and Dillon suppers the DOOMSDAY DEVICE and is the first eliminated as Iron Mike DiBiase makes his way to the ring. the Road Warriors take turns keeping the other three down and Animal after the POWER SLAM tosses DiBiase. Barry Windham arrives and hits the Road Warriors as they were attacking George and Henning. Windham didn’t let up and managed to eliminated Hawk. Brian Christopher ran to the ring and was driven to the mat by Animal who caught him off the top rope. George from behind managed to get Animal over the ropes and to the floor. Scott Casey entered the rumble hitting everyone then hit George hard enough to send him over the ropes and to the floor. Bobo Brazil. Scott Taylor and Larry Henning arrived with no other eliminations. Nikolai Volkoff arrived and after him Iron Sheik. Bobo Brazil bounced between them but they cut him off finally and Sheik tosses him from the ring. the ring filled up more as Magnum TA. Tully Blanchard, Harley Rave and Rob Van Dam arrived. Larry Henning was busted open and eliminated by Volkoff. The ring continued to fill up and Curt Henning was eliminated by Brian Christopher and Scott Taylor after a big of struggle. Cowboy Scott Casey ran into Rob Van Dam who went thru him like a buzzsaw and the Cowboy was eliminated. Scott Taylor was beat on by Tully Blanchard and a foreign object that left the Worm master bloody and tossed over the ropes. Magnum TA managed to eliminate Nikolai Volkoff when Duggan attacked Iron Sheik who had been double teaming Magnum. Volkoff hit the floor hard. Brian Christopher was eliminated when he tried to attack Bundy but an AVALANCHE saw Grandmaster Sexy tossed like a doll. Rob Van Dam went after Bundy and hit him with several high flying moves but once too often RVD went to the top rope was caught slammed to the mat and two AVALANCHE’S saw RVD tossed from the ring. Tully Blanchard was eliminated on a reversal by Harley Race and security had to get Blanchard away from ringside. Jerry Lynn fell to Bundy when the ECW star tried to send him into the turnbuckle. Lou Thesz was pummeled by Barry Windham and a LARIAT saw Thesz over the ropes to the floor. Ivan Koloff assaulted Magnum TA with backbreakers and Russian Hammer’s until the RUSSIAN SICKLE took him out. Barry Windham was eliminated by Jim Duggan after a trio of Tough Guy Clotheslines. Johnny Valentine tried to duck out of the ring but Brad Armstrong fought him on the apron and ran him into the ring post and Valentine fell to the floor followed by Armstrong a second later when Boogie Woogie man hit him with a running elbow smash. Valiant followed when Harley Race interrupted his dancing and a series of head butts and the VERTICAL SUPLEX saw Valiant gone. Iron Sheik and Jim Duggan battled back and forth throwing punches like bombs. Sheik sent Duggan into the turnbuckle and charged in only to have Duggan duck and pull the top rope down and Sheik went over and out. Jimmy Snuka and Bruiser Brody battled and it was a big boot to the face that saw Snuka eliminated. Ivan Koloff seemed to dislike Angelo Poffo and after a steady stream of Russian Backbreaker’s and falling face slams Koloff tossed Poffo from the ring. Ted DiBiase was the next elimination when he tried to buy Duggan’s services and a Tough Guy Clothesline was his receipt. Randy Savage with punches running elbows and guts managed to rock Bundy and a running knee to the back sent the behemoth over the ropes and crashing to the floor. Sam Houston had been bouncing around the ring but Chris Candido dumped him over the ropes as across the ring Randy Rose was eliminated by Harley Race. Ivan Koloff went after Duggan but the tough guy fought back and the FLYING SPEAR saw Koloff eliminated. The Destroyer made himself felt and eliminated the Masked Superstar. Redd Dogg was eliminated by Blackjack Mulligan and fans went wild when DDP arrived and after a reversal hit the DIAMOND CUTTER on Candido and tossed him from the match. Mulligan was dumped by Harley Race after the PILEDRIVER. A double team by Rogers and the Destroyer saw Hacksaw Jim Duggan eliminated. Harley Race was eliminated by Randy Savage while the Destroyer managed to take out Brody. DDP hit the DIAMOND CUTTER off a reversal and eliminated the Destroyer but Buddy Rogers quickly dumped Page from behind. Savage was exhausted and it looked like the Nature Boy had this in the bag but Savage seemed to get a second win off a reversal into the ropes and Savage hit 3 flying axe handles and the FLYING ELBO SMASH saw Rogers unable to prevent his being tossed from the ring.
Winner: Undisputed Immortals World Heavyweight Champion: Macho Man Randy Savage
Jim Cornette tried to talk as the sold out crowd was cheering so loudly as Savage was presented with the World title belt. Ellering just told Cornette to give it up as the pilot episode of Showcase of the Immortals ended and they had their first champion.
