Bit of an upset for the Russians... And a stellar performance by the Nature Boy to close the show...
Looks like some heat brewing between RVD and Jerry Lynn as well... Awesome stuff!

Nice wins by Rogers and Hotel Moscow (really fun name for the team) Hotel Moscow from one of my favorite anime/manga. Black Lagoon. I never cared for the Bolsheviks name and Red Army is alright but I try to forge my own path. nearly called them Red October (GI Joe 'toon) or Red Heat (Arnie's movie) those who read my original fed back in the 90's-early '00's know I draw a lot from games, anime and movies. confuses my godson then I spend time introducing him to cool toons, games, anime and wrestling. he's enjoying Immortals right now so I hope to keep going. Rogers is a solid and always get some good matches out of him. my LWF he is a 3x champ with a reign nearly a year 14v defenses before Jay Lethal came along

Showcase of the Immortals Season 1 β Episode #2 Immortals Hall
*Medical Update RVD will return on Episode 4 and will face Jerry Lynn in a Extreme Rules Match. Jerry Lynn has been suspended until then for his actions.
Qualifying Match Immortals Tag Team Championship Tournament Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) vs. the Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommt Rogers) w/Silo Sam The Fantastics defeated the Sheepherders via pin fall -some impressive tags by both teams and it looked like Luke had it won with a diving head butt early on. Rogers even survived the RUNNING KNEE SMASH and managed to come back. Fulton and Rogers with a series of double monkey flips then a power slam an d the PRESS SLAM/SPLASH combo on Butch got the three count. (Tokens: Rogers: 2 β Luke: 1 β Butch: 1)
Qualifying Match Immortals Tag Team Championship Tournament Too Cool (Scott Taylor & Brian Christopher) vs. Larry Henning & Curt Henning The Henningβs defeated Too Cool via pin fall -Curt was on fire dominating Christopher and isolating him. after several humiliating slaps to the face Henning kicked it up and a running knee lift and a sleeper forced Taylor to break it up. Curt hit the Axe and went for the pin only for Taylor to break it up and Curt with the HENNING PLEX got the three as Scott was out of position (Tokens: Christopher: 3)
Magnum TA vs. Rock Riddle Magnum TA defeated Rock Riddle via pin fall -One sided and in six moves Magnum hit the BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX and a easy three count. (Tokens: N/A)
Bobby Heenan brought King Kong Bundy to the ring and said tonightβs match was because Duggan stuck himself in Bundyβs business at Genesis and while Savage was hiding behind the championship committee, Duggan didnβt have that option and tonight he was going to see up close the Avalanche.
King Kong Bundy w/Bobby Heenan vs. Hacksaw Jim Duggan Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated King Kong Bundy via pin fall -While Bundy threw his weight and power around Duggan fired back and after recovering from Bundy missing a turnbuckle attack Duggan stunned him with several running clotheslines and the FLYING SPEAR got the three count as Heenan was stunned at the reversal.
MAIN EVENT Diamond Dallas Page vs. the Destroyer Diamond Dallas Page defeated the Destroyer via pin fall -Destroyer enjoyed early control and even locked on the FIGURE FOUR LEG LOCK but Page got to the ropes. A missed deathjump saw Page get a near fall with a face first piledriver. A DIAMOND CUTTER however saw the three count. (Tokens: DDP: 1 β Destroyer: 1)
Destroyer was not happy and went to attack DDP but he countered hitting the Diamond Cutter and left thru the crowd. Fans knowing this rivalry was just getting started and the show ended

You got that right Troy. Sheepherders/Fantastics in my LWF fed feuded over the US Tag belts for nearly half a year. now in living color they seem to continue with the win going to the Fantastics this time. Pariah were you looking into the future yeah the Hennings have qualified wonder who they face in the next round might cut them down. yeah DDP and the Destroyer feud is heating up. DDP continues to be a threat with just the Diamond Cutter out of nowhere. stay tuned fellow maniacs, more Showcase coming soon
