Some great action going on here bookerbill. I am especially looking forward to Generico vs. Steen, you can't go wrong with that one. The Briscoes vs. The Wolves was awesome.

Card 4 – Northern Indy Wrestling presents . . . Taste of the North – Taste at the Tannery, Kitchener, ON
After Party (Rhett Titus & Johnny Yuma) b. C & C Wrestle Factory (Cedrick Alexander & Caprice Coleman) This was a hot opener that started with a handshake. The action went back and forth early on until Coleman and Alexander were able to cut off Titus for a long stretch but the payoff C & C CONNECTION COMBO missed and allowed Yuma to get back into the match. Yuma picked up a near fall on Coleman with an Otter Drop and later Titus nearly ended it with a MUFF DRIVER. Alexander and Coleman used extensive double teaming to get back into control of the action but once again their finisher missed and this set the table for a final comeback by the After Party with Yuma connecting on Coleman with Y-umaga for the pin. Handshake ends the action to a monster ovation.
Arik Royal b. Ethan Page w/Seleziya Sparx Page new he was in trouble early on and immediately went for his finisher the HEADSHOT CUTTER as soon as he had a chance on offense but it did not get the three count. That was it for Page who was dominated in and out of the ring. Sparx was able to save Page with a timely distraction after a KURT COBAIN SICK KICK but Royal had just too many weapons tonight and came out on top after his third KURT COBAIN SICK KICK of the match. Veda Scott b. Kellie Skater Both ladies made use of strikes early on and traded abdominal stretches as well. Scott began to press her attack and Skater when for her Roo-Roids but was not able to get to them. Moments later, Q.E.D. ended it.
Roderick Strong w/Truth Martini DQ Tommaso Ciampa Strong insisted on this match over the objections of Martini after dropping a controversial disqualification decision to Ciampa back at the first round of the Northern Tournament. The controversy continued tonight as Strong pushed the attack right from bell forcing Ciampa to the floor after a deathjump smash. Outside, Ciampa slammed Strong into the ringside table sending officials to the floor. The bells sounded and Ciampa was the one who was disqualified this time. Nothing is settled between these two and Martini appeared concerned after the match.
“King of Old School” Steve Corino & Homicide b. Rhino w/Truth Martini & “Zombie Princess” Jimmy Jacobs Corino went to work on Jacobs early on including an Old School Expulsion. Corino then blasted Jacobs with a foreign object busting him open. Outside, Corino nailed Jacobs with a chair. Homicide picked up where Corino left off using a fork on Jacobs spilling more blood. Homicide then crushed Jacobs with back to back piledriver’s on the apron but Jacobs somehow kicked out of the cover. Jacobs was not able to get to his corner for relief and Homicide finished the contest with a third piledriver on the apron. Martini has no interest in assisting Jacobs and leads Rhino to the back.
“Unbreakable” Michael Elgin w/Truth Martini DQ Kyle O’Reilly What a battle this one was. O’Reilly was a machine early on with his mat attack and strikes leading to a GUILLOTINE CHOKE that nearly ended it. A brain buster rocked the fans and scored a two and half count. Elgin caught a break and was able to reverses a whip at ringside sending O’Reilly hard into the ring post. Elgin unleashed a power attack including Rolling Deadlift German Suplexes. Outside, a powerbomb put O’Reilly through the ringside table and the fans exploded along with the wood. Elgin took thing back to the floor again and this time O’Reilly cracked him with a chunk of the broken table and then proceeded to smash Elgin’s leg repeatedly with it. The referee had no choice but to make the disqualification call. Elgin escapes with a victory for the second consecutive time via disqualification. Wrestling’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas) b. American Wolves (“Die Hard” Eddie Edwards & “American Wolf” Davey Richards) Benjamin & Haas cut off Edwards immediately and went for the pin at every opportunity they had. Richards makes the save after a LEAP OF FAITH. The Wolves finally get the tag and Richards gets his team back into the match with a solid attack on Haas leading to an ANKLE LOCK but no submission. Both sides make a few tags leading to Edwards being once again caught in the ring. Benjamin backdrops Edwards to the floor and Edwards never really recovers from the landing. Benjamin nearly end it with a PAYDIRT and a second PAYDIRT brings Richards in for the save. Finally, Haas and Benjamin execute a second LEAP OF FAITH for the win. Northern Title: “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen b. El Generico to win the title. This was absolute destruction from bell to bell. Generico had zero offence the entire match despite the fans pleading and chanting. Steen battered his former partner from corner to corner, in and out of the ring. Powerbombs on to the apron took their toll as did the suplexes and fisherman busters. Generico kick out of two pin attempts but in the end a F-CINQ gave us a new champion.
History is made in Kitchener as Kevin Steen is the new Northern Champion in dominating fashion. The victory was so one sided that there is some speculation that Generico will not be granted an automatic rematch. Up next, the competitors from CZW join the Northern Indy Wrestling roster for a weekend of extreme action starting off at the River City Vineyard in Sarnia on July 13th that features the following matches:
**In rematch from the Northern Title Tournament, Jay Lethal takes on Adam Cole **Former Northern Champion El Generico faces the tough challenge of Sami Callihan **CZW Tag Team Champions Philly’s Most Wanted will face the challenge of the After Party in a non-title match ** CZW Wired TV Champion A.R. Fox will be in non-title action when he takes on Roderick Strong **DJ Hyde meets Northern Indy Wrestling Champion Kevin Steen in a special non-title challenge match

Steen is too much for our favorite generic luchador. Nice wins by After Party and Royal.

Kevin Steen does it to El Generico once again. Can the popular luchadore ever get that elusive and decisive win over Steen? Yet another sad chapter for Generico as Steen claims the Northern title. I'm looking forward to the CZW stars coming in for a tour especially DJ Hyde taking on Steen. A solid show in Kitchener overall.

Card 5 – Northern Indy Wrestling presents . . . Northern v. CZW Night One – River City Vineyard, Sarnia, ON
“King of Old School” Steve Corino b. Greg Excellent Excellent had the fans in his pocket from early on and dominated the action in and out of the ring. A TIGER DRIVER nearly ended it as did an STO but Corino was barely able to hang in long enough to avoid a Rick Roll to finally go on the offense. Corino wasted no time going for the kill with an OLD SCHOOL SUPLEX and OLD SCHOOL LARIAT. After a brief brawl on the floor, Corino connected with a second OLD SCHOOL SUPLEX to take the victory. Philly’s Most Wanted (BLK Jeez & Joker) b. After Party (Johnny Yuma & Rhett Titus) The CZW Tag team Champions came to compete and took the early advantage. Both sides made tags and things went south for the After Party after a backdrop from Jeez sent Titus over the ropes to the floor. Titus was never able to shake off the impact and Joker scored the win a few minutes later with a deathjump cross body block. Lufisto & Christina Von Eerie b. Kimber Lee & Mia Yim This one was over before it even really got started. Eerie reversed a whip into the corner and collided with Yim resulting in double clothesline. Von Eerie then downed Yim with a 138 but Yim kicked out of the cover. She could not kick out after second 138. Suicide Kings (Eddie Kingston & Drake Younger) b. American Wolves (“Die Hard” Eddie Edwards & “American Wolf” Davey Richards) The action was intense from the opening moments. Younger soon found himself in trouble and cut off from his corner while Richards went to work with a submission attack including an ANKLE LOCK that Younger breaks by making the ropes. Edwards keeps the pressure on and appears to have the victory after a DIE HARD but Kingston jumps into the action and in the ensuing mayhem, the Kings gain the upper hand and Kingston gets back into the action catching Edwards with a BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE that stuns him enough for the comeback win (snake eyes!). Richards is clearly frustrated after the bell and has words with Edwards who questions where the pin save was. Adam Cole w/Mia Yim DQ Jay Lethal Cole is out to serious heat and he seems to relish the hatred. It is back and forth intense action from the opening bell as Lethal wants a piece of Cole left him in a heap back on the first card. Cole survives an early LETHAL INJECTION with a last second kickout that hooked the fans. Cole battle back hitting a Florida Key for a big near fall of his own. The action when back and forth. Hail to the King has the fans out their seats and the action soon goes back to the floor where Lethal cracks Cole with a chair shot and this time it is Lethal who earns the disqualification. Lethal wants some more of Cole after the bell but Yim quickly collects her man and they flee ringside. Sami Calliihan b. El Generico The fans were chanting long and loud for Generico before the bell and several times during the match as well. Generico set the pace with an early three-quarters nelson suplex and the action took off from there. Callihan scored with a suicide dive that took something out of both competitors. Generico came back with a superplex that turned the momentum. Callihan was able to regain the advantage connecting with a Forearm to Remember that stunned Generico. Callihan scored with an exploder suplex and used a Koji Clutch to soft up Generico for a STRETCH MUFFLER in the middle of the ring for the submission. Roderick Strong w/Truth Martini b. A.R. Fox Martini cut a heat generating promo before the bell which placed the fans solidly behind CZW Wired Champion Fox from the outset. The pace was incredible in this one as the action went back and forth. Fox hit the 450 SPASH but Strong managed to get he shoulder up in a stunning near fall. Strong came back slowing the pace with a LeBell Lock which lead to a SICK KICK but not the win. With Martini supporting from the floor Strong when on an impressive run including a Gibson Driver, Death by Roderick and a pair of End of Heartaches to get the three count. “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen DQ DJ Hyde Northern Champion Steen had his hand full with the always tough Hyde who takes incredible pride in representing CZW. They exchanged lots of punches before Hyde broke through with a running senton. Plenty of action on the floor with both men trading blows. Back inside, Steen was caught on the top of the corner and tossed to the mat. Hyde pushed the attack and forced Steen to the floor. Hyde then grabbed the Northern Title belt and decks Steen with it. Steen is left in a heap on the floor and the referee calls for the disqualification.
The competitors from CZW came away from night one of their tour of Northern Indy Wrestling with a slight advantage in head to head action. Night two moves to London, Ontario and will feature the following matches:
**Two of the most unpredictable competitors in wrestling will clash had “Zombie Princess” Jimmy Jacobs comes to London to take on Danny Havoc in a match where anything can happen and likely will. **Drew Gulak will bring his vast scientific capabilities to London and will face a man no stranger to the mat wresting, Kyle O’Reilly **CZW Tag Team Champions Philly’s Most Wanted are coming off an impressive performance against After Party and they will step into the ring with the fast moving Young Bucks in a special non-title encounter **The issue between Jay Lethal and Adam Cole continues to heat up. They have traded chair shot disqualification finishes and now will clash for the third time in London **Northern Champion “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” will be in non-title action in a special challenge of the champions as he faces CZW Wired Champion A.R. Fox one on one in a battle of contrasting styles

Drew Gulak made his way to ringside and was able to grab the leg of Von Eerie twice keeping Lee in control of the action and earning great heat in the process. BLK JESUS WALKS gets a two count while Joker prevents the pin save and a second BLK JESUS WALKS gets the three count.
Kyle O’Reilly b. Drew Gulak Gulak drew some solid heat with a pre-match promo and then took control of the match at the bell including a Cross Crusher. O’Reilly was able to counter attack and quickly went for the submission with a GUILLOTINE CHOKE. Gulak was able to work to the ropes and O’Reilly immediately went to the hold again but Gulak once again worked his way to the bottom strand to get the break. The struggle took a lot of Gulak and never really recovered with O’Reilly controlling the balance of the match and taking it after a flying dropkick to a seated opponent. Lufisto DQ Mia Yim Lufisto was greeted with a great ovation and responding with an impressive start. Yim had no answers to the attack of Lufisto which included chips and jabs mixed with mat holds including a pair of rear naked chokes. Yim managed to survive a BURNING HAMMER and MANGALIZER before the action went to the floor. Lufisto rolled out after Yim who was waiting with a chair and unloaded on Lufisto with the weapon for the disqualification. Danny Havoc b. “Zombie Princess Jimmy Jacobs Jacobs survives a strong start from Havoc and comes back with a diving senton followed by a blast with the RAILWAY SPIKE drawing great heat from the fans and crimson from Havoc who manages to kick out of the cover. A bloody Havoc was able to turn the tide on the floor putting Jacobs through a table on the floor blowing away ringside. Jacobs is further rocked by Q2QL3 leading to TOTAL HAVOC for big near fall. A second Q2QL3 sets up another TOTAL HAVOC for the three count.
Jay Lethal b. Adam Cole w/Mia Yim Cole spends a great deal of time giving it to ringside and fans are all over him. He starts out strong however including a power slam and a super kick that stuns Lethal. The fans get behind Lethal and he responds with a counter attack that includes a crazy looking hip toss into dropkick and a springboard DDT. With Cole stunned, Lethal sets up for the LETHAL INJECTION and nails it. Yim distracts the referee but Lethal keeps his focus and hits his finisher again for the win.
Suicide Kings (Eddie Kingston & Drake Younger) DQ Wrestling Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin) Benjamin gets the quick upper hand on Younger and scores with PAYDIRT that nearly ends. The action begins to go back and forth as both sides are able to make several tags keeping a fresh man in the ring. Wrestling’s Greatest manages to get the heat on Younger. There referee steps in to break up a double team attack on Younger which allows Kingston to nail Haas with a Yakuza Kick. However, it is Haas is able to recover first and action goes back to the floor where Haas grabs a chair and decks Kingston with for the disqualification. After the match, Benjamin and Haas attack both their opponents and leave them dazed in the ring. “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen b. A.R. Fox The battle of champions started with a quick pace as CZW Wired Champion Fox gaining the advantage with his high flying offensive attack. Lo Mein Pain rocks the fans along the flying single knee facebreakers. Steen managed to counter a backdrop attempt for a piledriver and dominated the balance of the action. F-CINQ should have finished it but Fox was able to get the shoulder. Thanks for the feedback cruefan68. No plans of stopping anytime soon as this reboot has been fun to play out. One more night featuring the competitors of CZW! Card 8 – Northern Indy Wrestling presents . . . Northern v. CZW Night Three – Phoenix Concert Theatre, Toronto, ON Lufisto COR Kimber Lee The series of chops between these two had the fans into the action early. Lufisto took control and nailed a cannonball in the corner to set up a BURNING HAMMER but Lee was able to kick out of the cover. They went to the floor and battled back up onto the apron where Lee backdropped Lufisto in to the ring just as the referee completed his ten count. The ladies continued to battle after the bell and officials were needed to pull them apart. C & C Wrestle Factory (Caprice Coleman & Cedrick Alexander) b. Philly’s Most Wanted (BLK Jeez & Joker) The CZW Tag Team Champions’ successful tour north of the border came to screeching halt tonight when a game C & C Wrestle Factory dominated this one from the outset. After an exchange between Jeez and Coleman, Joker found himself cut off from his corner and under attack from the double team maneuvers of Coleman & Alexander. Alexander is able to sent Joker to the floor with a springboard clothesline and soon after Joker regains the ring, he connects with another for the three count (snake eyes!) Mia Yim b. Christina Von Eerie Yim came to the ring focused on getting some payback after Von Eerie dominated her in the women’s tag team encounter on night one of the tour and she got it. Yim countered the early attack of Von Eerie and connected with Kick Me Goodnight followed by an impressive skytwister press for a two count. SPINNING SEOUL KICK ended it seconds later. “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin w/Truth Martini DQ DJ Hyde The power moves of Elgin rocked the fans early on in this one, particularly the Rolling Deadlift German Suplexes that lead to a big near fall for Elgin. Hyde was able to start his comeback reversing a whip into the corner. It was then Hyde’s turn to impress with a powerbomb, Cyclone Slam and his finisher the SHADOW DRIVER but Elgin was able to get the shoulder up. Hyde let his frustrations get the best of him and he resorted to using a chair across the back at ringside which lead to the official calling for the disqualification. Hyde gives ELGIN a second SHADOW DRIVER for good measure in the middle of the ring and leaves his opponent in a heap. Suicide Kings (Eddie Kingston & Drake Younger) b. Briscoe Brothers (Mark Briscoe & Jay Briscoe) The fans were still buzzing from the last encounter when the Briscoe hit the ring to a huge reaction. The Brothers from Sandy Fork dominated the early action with both Kingston and Younger taking a JAY DRILLER for near falls. The violence steps up a notch when Kingston runs Jay Briscoe into the ring post busting him open. Later, Mark Briscoe returns the favour and sends Kingston into the post busting him open. Younger is cut off from his corner for a long stretch and the Briscoe show no mercy battering him in and out of the ring. Younger needs to be saved by Kingston after a CUT THROAT DRIVER from Mark Briscoe. Kingston finally is able to tag back into the action and is able to hit back to back to back to back half-nelson suplexes on Jay Briscoe followed by a BACKFIST TO THE FUTURE for score the victory. Incredible comeback. Jay Lethal b. Adam Cole w/Mia Yim The action in this one was off the charts from the outset. Lethal drew on the fans support and took the battle to Cole in and out of the ring leading to a LETHAL INJECTION for a 2 ¾ count. Yim was able to help her man with a timely kick to Lethal at ringside turning the momentum of the contest. It was now Cole’s turn to batter his opponent leading to a huge kick out for Lethal after a PANAMA SUNRISE. Both men dug deep in an effort to find away to get the victory as the action went back and forth. Hail to the King gets another two count and the fans thought it was over. Cole causes panic at ringside when he scores with an inside cradle for a two and half count of his own but Lethal escapes defeat. At one point, Cole attempts a superkick that Lethal converts to a fireman’s carry which Cole transitions into a FLORIDA KEY and the fans are on their feet. Finally, a bloodied and exhausted Lethal gets the upper hand on Cole at ringside and then connects with a LETHAL INJECTION for the second time and it is enough to end it. Although it appears Cole may have gotten his shoulder up at the last possible second. Yim protests but the decision stands. Toronto Street Fight – Homicide b. Masada The CZW Heavyweight Champion is never one to back down for a fight so when Homicide gets on the mic and suggests this match be a Toronto Street Fight, Masada is more than willing to accept. Loads of brawling as you would expect but Homicide decides to wrestle more often then not and it works to his advantage. That does not mean to say there was no extreme action because there was. Homicide broke out his fork multiple times carving up Masada into a bloody mess. Masada was able to make use a chair on Homicide in a wicked assault. However, it was the moves like Homicide’s Tope con Hilo and triple rolling vertical suplexes that really did the damage in this match. The finish came out of nowhere when Homicide avoided a charge to the corner and executed a perfect school boy roll up for the three count. “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen b. Sami Callihan Callihan took control early and forced the action to the floor but Steen was able to turn things around and rocked the fans when he powerbombed Callihan through the ringside table. With ringside still buzzing, Steen went to work punishing his opponent with sharpshooters, sentons and a series of vicisous fisherman busters onto the knee. A powerbomb onto the ring apron nearly kills Calliahan. Finally, the Northern Indy Champions finishes Calliahan with a F-CINQ.
