Good to hear that bookerbill as Northern Indy Wrestling is quickly becoming a favorite fed of mine. I am especially looking forward to the crowning of the tag team champions at Super Showdown. Homicide vs. Masada in a Toronto Street Fight sounds insane and it was cool to see Homicide take it. Kevin Steen was particularly brutal in that main event as it looked like he really took out Sami Callihan. Steen is becoming the dominant force in Northern Indy. The Northern Indy vs. CZW tour was a lot of fun. |

David Marquez was excited to take to social media this morning announce that he Briscoe Brothers are the first team confirmed for the Northern Indy Tag Team Title Tournament. The win lost record of Mark and Jay Briscoe has been impressive to say the least and they have to be considered the favourites to leave the Phoenix Concert Theatre with the tag team gold. Announcements concerning the remaining two teams will be made in the coming weeks.

After some intense debate within the competition committee with significant pressure from the Northern Indy Wrestling fan based, it was been decided that not only will El Genercio receive a championship rematch against his ache nemesis “Wrestling’s Worst Nightmare” Kevin Steen but that match will take place as a featured contest at Super Showdown on August 28!. Will Generico find a way to bounce back after being absolutely dominated by Steen in Kitchener or will this be the final chapter in this historic rivalry.

Revenge is something some people are willing to wait for and Courtney Rush has been waiting for her chance at payback since night two of the Battle of Ontario when she and partner Sara Del Rey dropped a decision to Regeneration X in tag team action. After that match, Rush was attacked and laid out by her partner and now she will get a chance to do something about it when she meets Sara Del Rey one on one.

Homicide and Jimmy Jacobs have been on opposite sides both singles and tag team encounters this year and each time they have squared off it has been mayhem in the ring. From tables, to spikes to forks, both men have attempted to destroy one another.
