Your favorite and least favorite character drawings.

*I could easily have all Daryl Banks in my top choices as he is my favorite artist by far, but I thought more variety would be better.

Raven 2095 - Snelly's best. Dreads, claws, etc.
Cosmos 2083 - Werner's best. Perfect wrestling physique
Vengeance 2101 - Bendis's best. Great closeup, fangs, squeezing blood (this will look fantastic when it gets colored)
Wolf 2110 SE - finally Wolf looks cool
Lance At-Las 2108 - great piece for one of my fav characters
Mensar 2112 - just made this guy look mean
Thunder 2112 SE - probably Su's best for me, great pose with the fist and all
Overkill 2113 – the best of Overkill, really looks tough and powerful
Manslaughter 2117 SE - I just think it's excellent work, really gives Manslaughter an extreme, psycho look
Payback 2118 - Prolly my fav Hannibal King drawing (unless he did Endgame NB), just a solid piece, really 'means business' look on his face
Aegis 2117 - very strong pose

Endgame NB - actually not sure if this is King or Banks, either way it's one of my favs

*Went with some variety like before. I could easily have all Chuck Carter as my top choices since he is horrible in my opinion.

Thantos 2096 – weird pose, his hands like disappear
Invincible Krakan 2097 – very rough and ugly, screwed up face and eyes
Colossus 2098 – Ugly Gustovich work
Alpha Force 2099 – bad face and awful mouth, looks like he’s wearing a diaper
Pegasus 2101 - Worst...art...ever
Mandrill 2105 – Aaaaagh! His face scares me…and not in a good way
Dragonmaster 2105 – that one arm that just disappears…awful
Rankor 2111 – ugly rough drawing, looks like his suit is thrown on haphazardly, sorta the 2111 version of Krakan above
Atman 2113 – Eeeyuch! I can’t decide if his duck-billed mouth scares me worse than Mandrill 2105’s face

There are no good/great Carter pics, his best ones are merely ‘acceptable’ in my book, but here’s the worst of the worst:

Brute – Is he a giraffe or an Aethran?
Battering Ram – Please, no more silly-looking mustaches! This is the stupidest one though.
Lightening – Why are you wearing dishwashing gloves and a diaper?
Royal Overlord – How does he tie his shoes when his arm is only a foot long?
Serpent Unman - Sure, I know he's supposed in some mutant transformation...but that's just awful looking.
Ursa Major - Desperately needs a nose job...he could have won just because his opponent's couldn't stop laughing at that clown nose.
Alpha Force - Not worthy of the new top face of the fed...strangely, he quickly got an SE card.

worst - Pegasus (upgrade, forgot the year I guess I blocked it out or something and I threw it away once the SE came out)

Gustovich Battering Ram/just RAM a close second

I really liked the art for Thunder in 2110? I think it was? Also loved the Wolf card that Su did where he's leaping at you.

I dunno about the worst, there were a lot of bad ones. Well, I shouldn't say they were bad, just didn't really grab me like some did.

My two least favorite drawings were Lord Nexus manager card..2103 I think and the Krakan paralysis drawing. Though I agree with the original Ursa and his gigantic schnozz.

Favorites - Snelly Skinhead, most everything by King and Banks, Randy Bugdale's nGo bootlegs (although I'm somwhat biased in that regard)

Least favorites - Carter Alpha Force, CPC Talon

yeah, I've only seen a couple of Bugdale's stuff, not much of the nGo stuff, but Akuma and Pete Beck's Death Knight 2 is really good.

Yeah... that one was really bad. Bendis was very hit-or-miss, and that was a definite miss.

Its had to pick a favorite, but I'd have to say Ventross (see my sig) is probably the best.. though the Murdok SE with the Zombies in the back ground is a VERY close second....I really like Panther Warrior too...

Really, Daryl Banks is the bomb.. I've liked him since he was on Green Lantern.

From the early days,I really like the Bishop Hell SE (2095 I think).. he's just so evil looking.

Worst would have to be Beast Rider (seems like he didn't finish drawing) and the Classics 'Buckwheat' Lord Nexus

I've always been partial to Snelly's experiments with texture on Splatter, Skinhead, & Dynamo. Those really got my attention.

2100 Overkill art really killed the buzz of Overkill for me as it looks like he has scoliosis. Just made him look not that threatening.
