As far as I'm concerned, Werner's got the POW gig as long as he wants it. Can he redo Mensar to look Bad A**!?!?!? ;D I like the new Mensar art, the smug look on his face as he towers over the next victim...awesome stuff

Best...way to many to list but Snelly's always seem at the top of mine...i loved what he did...Raven, Pegasus, Cassandra!
worst...as i have always said is Gustovich's "Ram". Like Tim Dalton says it looked like he drew a picture of a man, then Tom said "Mike, the character is a RAM"...and Mike drew horns in him...blah....

yeah, I've only seen a couple of Bugdale's stuff, not much of the nGo stuff, but Akuma and Pete Beck's Death Knight 2 is really good. Here's the PREDATORS : ROAR & THE GREAT PANTHER What's not to love, the guy was/is awesome. wow, that is amazing! Thanks for sharing it!

I'm sorta glad Tom didn't use Bugdale as an official artist in the sense that COTG has a strong connection with comic books, and his style of art just didn't fit in well with my perceived "look" of the GWF. But then, that was just me. Me too. I think he would have been good for some cards here and there, just as a change of pace, but I like the regular comic book feel myself.

Bugdale did some fine work but I can understand wanting a little more control over the process on Tom, or Mark, or Kris or any creative team's part. Bugdale's process looked really involved too, I think he stippled and that takes a long time. I've done it a couple times but never to the extent that he did and all the stuff I've seen of his on bootlegs and official cards looked like it had been done that way. That's hair pulling work. I also want to say it was really hard making Savage T look tough. I might also mention having Banks around is a big plus for Tom. And remember whose saying this, somebody who might benefit if he disappeared Wouldn't Bugdale's art be more difficult to colorize for online also? If we didn't have Banks, I'd definitely push for you Werner. We need to see some of your stuff get online so we can get a color vs. color comparison.

Isn't that set online? (I'm not sure, I'm just asking because I only paid for the pdf file for 2122 so I can play my fed with the dice).

I don't know that it would be more difficult to color but you'd have to attack it a little differently. You can color over blended pencils if you know what you're doing. The Aspin Northstar and Flatliner I did are both colored and online. I also did an orc for Larry that he had colored. It's not in the game but was colored by the guy who does the online stuff (posted a link as to not take over the thread): wernermueck.com/gallery/images/cotg_artwork/miscellaneous/madrakfront.jpg

Werner and Banks both make art that seem to take to color really well. Not much of Werner's art has been colored yet, like he said, but the stuff that has has all come out really well.

They look great...especially Aspin.
