really fun show all around, Bri. Sounded like a fantastic main event...will be interesting to see how Mad Dog performs with a new color card. Hey TTX! So glad that the card was enjoyable. I was thinking the same thing about Mad Dog too, (Butcher too). It was a fun card top to bottom. Fantastic cage match, Mad Dog is so much better in a cage. Going to post GWA 21 in a few. Many thanks for the kind words bro!

I loved the brutal cage match between Fred Blassie and Mad Dog Vachon and it is great to see the "King of Men" pick up the victory. Chris Tolos & The Missing Link are an interesting pairing but the Flying Redheads are tough to beat and the rookie Mil Mascaras victory over Exotic Adrian Street was a real highlight. Great stuff as always my friend. Hey cruefan68! You and me both my friend. Spectacular back and forth, finishers and all too. The Flying Redheads are definitely one of the tops in the GWA, (and now with Billy Red Lyons girlfriend now getting involved as a valet), many people will be seeing red no doubt. Mascaras & Street was another great one, really could have gone either way. Was pulling for Street in this one, but that's how it goes right? Posting the next card soon dude, many thanks!

The Story of The Celluloid Heroes of 1960 - A Fed in Black, White & Gray.
Card & Chapter 21 Match Results - From Sunnyside Gardens Arena, Queens - New York.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the card tonight: -------------------------------------
1. The Sheik with Abdullah Farouk vs Billy Red Lyons with A Suprise Valet (His New Girlfriend - An Aspiring Actress)
2. The Vachons - Mad Dog & Butcher vs Mission Impossible - John Pesek & rookie Giant Baba
3. Pampero Firpo with Incognito vs rookie Angelo Mosca with Pepper Gomez
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match Results: ----------------------------
1. Billy Red Lyons (6 fatigue With Serious Blood Loss) with Ann Margret Olsson (soon to be just Ann Margret - 1 very successful distraction) wrestled The Sheik (5 fatigue With Blood Loss) with Abdullah Farouk to a 30 minute Time Limit Draw.
(The Sheik had just kicked out of a comeback Sunset Flip attempt from Lyons at the 30 minute mark as Abdullah Farouk was entranced by the long red haired Ann Margret).
(The crowd gave a standing ovation, for a variety of reasons. The match completely energized the crowd and was a huge effort on both sides. Ann Margret and her sweater distracted just about everybody in the arena).

2. The Vachons (0 defensive tags) - Mad Dog (0 fatigue) & Butcher Vachon (0 fatigue) defeated Mission Impossible (0 defensive tags) - John Pesek (2 fatigue) & Giant Baba (0 fatigue - 1 botched pin save) via Disqualification.
(Baba was disqualified for Repeatedly Bashing Butcher's Forehead Into The Top Of The Turnbuckle Ring Post at the 6 minute mark).
(Butcher Vachon had thrown John Pesek shoulder first into The Steel Ring Steps, at the very least dislocating his shoulder. Just before executing his HANGMAN finisher on the injured Pesek - (a Throat Drop Across The Ropes), Butcher smiled and told him "Good bye title shot". Giant Baba frenzied and beat both Butcher and Mad Dog senseless until security broke it up).

3. Angelo Mosca (2 fatigue & 2 near disqualifications; 1. Excessive Brawling 2. Steel Chair Shot Outside Ring) defeated Pampero Firpo (9 fatigue With Profound Blood Loss & 2 near disqualifications; 1. Excessive Brawling 2. Steel Chair Shot Outside Ring) with Incognito (1 successful distraction & 1 successfull interference - a 2 x 4 to Mosca's Head) via Count Out.
(Firpo was counted out after Mosca Football Tackled Him Backwards Into One Of The Stone Columns Outside The Ring at the 18 minute mark and removed via stretcher).
(Before security could restore order, Mosca and Gomez jumped Incognito and beat him senseless, unmasking him in the process).
(He is none other than Fritz Von Goering, a fact seen and now known by many, including several counter intelligence agencies and former pursuers)...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story - Chapter 21: The Stranglehold ----------------------------------------------------------------
(The scene is a large studio like apartment that has just recently been rented to and under, the name of Mr. Ed "Strangler" Lewis. The apartment sits atop Jack Kerouac's Bar & Restaurant, it is one of the three apartments on that level on top of the large bar and restaurant).
(Due to so many people listening into so many other peoples conversations, not to mention the downright bugging of common (and not so common) areas, Strangler Lewis and his people plan on using this location for all off line conversations as well as a headquarters if you will going forward).
(With the exception of a large conference room table down the middle of the room the only other furniture are couches along the walls and some non conference room chairs. A refrigerator stands in the corner of the room fully stocked with nothing but beer, assorted liquors and cigars).
(They all refer to this "apartment" as The Stranglehold. There are two ways into the apartment. A set of stairs up the outside of the building to one door of the apartment and a spiral staircase that leads up from the back of the bar to the other "secret" door of the apartment).
(They all arrive and leave seperately).
(At this meeting are; Strangler Lewis, Head of Security, Strangler's bodyguard John Pesek, Pesek's tag team partner Giant Baba, Sky Low Low, Little Beaver and as a special guest, Ms. Lauren Bacall aka Slim).
Strangler Lewis - Lady...and gentlemen...thank you all for coming tonight...(motioning to and with a smile wrapped around his face, Lauren Bacall who's wearing sunglasses and a large floppy hat to help disguise her) - Please...Ladies first!
Lauren Bacall - Well thank you Strangler (looks around a bit) charming...I could smell the testosterone in here from outside...
(Much laughing).
(Lauren Bacall places a cigarette in her mouth and before she knows it, Strangler Lewis lept closer and lit her cigarette with his steel lighter).
John Pesek (whispering to Head of Security) - I haven't seen him move that fast in years...as Sky Low Low smiles at the sight and what he hears).
Lauren Bacall - Thanks Strang...So gentlemen...Hoboken's Seven have just finished putting all of the pieces in play...a part time job, some car rentals, disguises purchased and schedules rearranged...done and done...
Strangler Lewis - Thank you very much Ms. Bacall...
Lauren Bacall - Please, call me Slim...
Strangler Lewis - We can't thank you enough...
Lauren Bacall - Any friends of Beav's and Sky's are friends of mine...the ordinary rate is 100 grand per job, but this one is on the house...
Head of Security - That's great...but how come?
Lauren Bacall (finishes her cigarette and her glass of scotch as she gets up) - Because Sinatra pissed me off...
(As she waves good bye to all Strangler Lewis walks her to the door, they shake hands but inside her hand is a small piece of folded paper, discretely, Strangler Lewis puts it in his pocket).
Little Beaver - Ok all I'll go next, Sunnyside Gardens Arena is now completely surveillance bug free, and so is the long bench in the park across the street. I am going to do random checks to stay on top of it all.
Head of Security - The FBI in the person of our very own...Mr. Les Thatcher...came in to see me yesterday and asked me some general questions...but I believe I have thrown them off the tracks...or at least fended them off for a while.
Sky Low Low - What were they asking about?
Head of Security - some backgrounds on some of the international wrestlers that we have on the roster. He was making it almost sound routine...until he suddenly started asking about something that was stolen during World War II.
Little Beaver - The Valkyrie?
Head of Security - Exactly...didn't give him any inkling at all that I knew anything about it...
Strangler Lewis (scratches his jaw in thought) - Ok...good work...
Little Beaver (interrupting Sky) - I'm sorry Sky...Raquel called and said (closes his eyes to remember) she'll see you at Coney Island by the Cyclone at 8 on Saturday...
Giant Baba - Who...is...Rake kell?
Sky Low Low - A 20 year old cocktail waitress who is going to be a huge star...mark my words...and Raquel Welch is her name...
John Pesek - How are you so lucky with broads Sky?
Sky Low Low - Lucks got nothin to do with it my friend...once you go Sky...there's no other guy...
(Giant Baba laughs a deep hearty laugh...highly amused at this midget who in his own mind casts a big shadow).
Strangler Lewis - Can we all focus here?
Sky Low Low - Strang listen...the head of The Maginot, Maurice Tillet aka The French Angel is in Queens...he wants to meet with us...
Strangler Lewis - Huh...did he say why?
Sky Low Low - He did...but I'm not sure I believe him...he said that he has retired from The Maginot and get this...want's to get back into wrestling...he said that he has some ideas for us that could be highly...lucrative.
Head of Security - Out of the goodness of his heart?
Sky Low Low - No...I would bet the arena he wants to make at least an investment or perhaps make a deal with us...or you Strangler.
Strangler Lews - For a piece...of the GWA pie.
Sky Low Low - Exactly...he never does anything without...a reason or reasons behind it.
John Pesek - Maybe it's better to bring him into the fold...
Head of Security - Keep him close...so we can watch him...
Strangler Lewis (scratches his head in thought) - Ok Sky, please arrange a meeting with him...I'll call you with a place in a few...thanks everybody...thats it for tonight...
(As they slowly one by one left at different times and from different doorways...and John Pesek promised Giant Baba to take him to a place where they could get some pie...Strangler Lewis found himself alone within The Stranglehold).
(He quickly went through his pocket and retrieved the note from Lauren Bacall, it read as follows):
"My husband and I used to watch you wrestle often...loved watching you wrestle...but what I love even more than that...is how I catch you looking at me...my place midnight...bring your toothbrush".

Blassie vs. Vachon sounded nasty in a really good way. Hey Scott Fire 54! It was a real "slobberknocker" for sure. Blood everywhere. At one section of the match, they just kept biting each other like a pair of rottweilers trying to kill each other. It was great. Thanks man!

Really enjoyed the final match especially. Hey TTX! Am very glad the main event didn't disappoint. I have been pretty lucky lately with some really fun ones. Going to be posting GWA 22 in a few, here's to hoping it's worth the read. I am really looking forward to the end of this "round" of matches i.e. GWA 24. Story reveal wise as well as the 4 big title tournaments on GWA 25. A couple of new faces to the GWA are on the horizon as well as some serious conflicts during the next round of matches (or cards 25 through 36). Thanks as always my man!

3. Chris Tolos vs IIlo Dipaolo
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match Results: ----------------------------
1. Iron Mike DiBiase (0 fatigue) with Jimmy Hart defeated Butcher Vachon (0 fatigue) via Pinfall.
(DiBiase pinned Vachon courtesy of A Series Of Punches at the 3 minute mark).
(A battle of two men that were both desperate for a mark in the win column displayed an explosive and high speed assault from both sides. As Vachon started to find his stride after executing a brutal Backbreaker, DiBiase came out of nowhere with a blistering three punch combination that rocked Vachon).

Announcers Table) & rookie Mil Mascaras (0 fatigue) defeated The Assassins (0 defensive tags) - Ray Crippler Stevens (1 fatigue & 1 near disqualification - Excessive Brawling with Destroyer Outside Ring) & rookie Ivan Koloff (0 fatigue - 1 botched pin save) via Submission.
(Ray Stevens submitted to The Destroyers FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK finisher at the 6 minute mark as Mil Mascaras Missle Dropkicked the onrushing Ivan Koloff into a temporary semi-conscious state).
(Crippler Stevens relentless brawling with The Destroyer drove The Destroyer to shift into a whole other level - and put this one away rather quickly. Dropping now to a record of 0 - 2, Stevens got into Koloffs face blaming him for both loses however security intervened before they seemed to be on the edge of starting a brawl).

3. IIlo Dipaolo (1 fatigue & 1 near disqualification - Powerslamming Tolos Through A Table) defeated Chris Tolos (4 fatigue With Blood Loss) via Pinfall.
(Dipaolo pinned Tolos courtesy of a ring shaking Body Slam the 12 minute mark).
(In an unexpected move, The Missing Link slithered out from underneath the ring and started to assault IIlo Dipaolo with a Steel Chair as Chris Tolos started having a heated argument and then started bragging about this contingency plan with one of the stone columns around the ring area. Dipaolo's tag partner Antonino Rocca went postal and cleaned house with a Lead Pipe before an irate Chris Tolos never got a chance to hear what the stone column was just about to say to him).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story - Chapter 22 - Part 1 - Take Me Out To The Ballgame: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(The scene is the 1st base dugout of The Polo Grounds, the former home ball park of The New York Giants Baseball club which is now located in San Francisco, California. The Polo Grounds is in northern Manhattan, just across The Harlem River from Yankee Stadium).
(The meeting is here because Strangler Lewis has just inked the deal to have GWA 25 held at The Polo Grounds, for a few reasons; further distractions from his plan to switch The Valkyries and a huge amount of money)
Strangler Lewis, Sky Low Low, Little Beaver and John Pesek, (with his shoulder and arm now in a sling), are meeting with the former head of the French counterintelligence organization, The Maginot, Mr. Maurice Tillet, The French Angel).
Maurice Tillet (after surveying the empty ball park) - Quite an interesting place...for a rendezvous...I must say...thank you all for meeting with me...
Strangler Lewis - It's our pleasure...Mr. Tillet...Sky...thank you for arranging this.
Sky Low Low - No problem...God I hate this park...but then again...at least it's still standing.
Little Beaver - You'll have to excuse my brother and I Strang...we completely hate this building...and were still not over watching our Ebbets Field being knocked down this past February...
Sky Low Low - The Dodgers...are just dead to me.
Strangler Lewis - Mr. Tillet...what can we do for you?
Maurice Tillet - I am now...retired...from my former line of work...and I am quite anxious to return to my first love...professional wrestling...I must say Mr. Lewis...you are doing a superb job with The Global Wrestling Alliance...I have been following your progress...conferring with and getting updates from my friend...and former business associate...Edouard Carpentier...you sir...now rival Vince McMahon Sr's federation...which had also parted ways with The National Wrestling Alliance...I would love the opportunity to make...a sizeable investment...in The GWA...as well as manage your tag team called Legends Of The Fall...perhaps even re-enter the ring myself on occasion...
Strangler Lewis (as Sky Low Low pays precise attention to both Tillet and Lewis) - On behalf of The GWA I most certainly welcome you however...I will have to speak with...who we call our "Resident Vampire"...the GWA principal owner Freddie Blassie...before we can make this official...
Maurice Tillet - Understood sir...I also...have had some thoughts on some ways The GWA could catapult itself...far ahead of not only your local competition from McMahon...but even poise yourself...to challenge The NWA itself...
Strangler Lewis - As a preface...although any of this isn't official yet...I give you my word...you will gain all of the credit for any of your suggestions that we may wind up putting into play here...please Mr. Tillet...I am all ears...
Maurice Tillet - Thank you...I have two thoughts...the first being an opportunity to exploit the natual...animosities present in...well all wrestling federations...in particular...between factions...by putting them on display...via...what I envision as...Stable Wars...
Strangler Lewis - Interesting...like a tournament?
Maurice Tillet - Precisely...and secondly...a new...style of match for this tournament...one where two teams of say...three or four wrestlers face off against each other...in a series of single elimination style matches...the first team to eliminate or defeat all of the other teams competitors...is the winner...and moves on...
Sky Low Low - Huh...interesting.
Strangler Lewis - I'll say...I like it!
Maurice Tillet - I am glad...of course the bounty...or prize...that goes to the winners of the tournament could be...Oh I don't know...virtually anything...(checks his watch)...apologies Mr. Lewis...I have an appointment I must attend to...thank you all again for your considerations...gentlemen...I bid you...adieu.
(After many handshakes and some time after Tillet departing):
Strangler Lewis (to Sky Low Low) - You know him the best Sky...what's you're take on all of this?
Sky Low Low (thinks a bit) - He definitely means what he said...and with Mingy and the damn Yakuza here...he'd be a good one to have on your side Strang...even retired...still has a huge network of resources...I just thought...
Strangler Lewis - What?
Sky Low Low - That he'd never retire...
Story - Chapter 22 - Part 2 - A Boy Trapped In A Man's Body: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(The scene is the apartment of Edouard Carpentier, which is nearby to Sunnyside Gardens Arena - about 2 weeks before the meeting above):
Young visitor - Hello Mr. Carpentier...I (voice cracks a touch) am sorry for bothering you...but I am one of your biggest fans and was wondering if I could (nervously pauses to breathe) hopefully train with you...I really want to wrestle...at the GWA.
Edouard Carpentier (caught amazingly off guard but flattered) - Well my friend...I am truly flattered...I tell you what...I was just about to take a nice long walk...why don't you join me?
Young visitor - Oh...that would be great...thank you Mr. Carpentier...
Edouard Carpentier - Please...call me Edouard...and tell me...exactly...how old are you?
Young visitor - I just turned 18...ah...Edouard...
Edouard Carpentier - Do you live here?
Young visitor - No I just moved here...
Edouard Carpentier - You're parents as well?
Young visitor - Yes...yes they did...
Edouard Carpentier (studying the Young visitors face perpetually) - So... you're 18?...
Young visitor - Yes...yes I am...
Edouard Carpentier (doesn't believe him, but continues) - Well...It just so happens...that I am in the market...as it were...for someone to...take under my wing...and form a part of a stable of wrestlers...what do you say?
Young visitor - That would be...my dream come true!
Edouard Carpentier - Excellent!...What's you're name son?
Young visitor - Roussimoff sir...Andre Roussimoff...
Edouard Carpentier (with a large smile across his race) - Well...my friend Andre...I would be glad to begin your training starting...first thing tomorrow morning...
Andre Roussimoff - Thank you very much...Mr. Carpentier...this is truly a great honor...
Edouard Carpentier - What can I say?...you're offer is one...I simply cannot resist...and I must say that my boss...is just going...to absolutely love you...
