Liking the Soldiers of Fortune tag team and always enjoy a DiPaolo win. Hey TTX! Glad you dig them. Mascaras hasn't really hit his stride yet, but when he does they are going to rock. I really am a fan now of DiPaolo now via this fed. Going to be posting the next card GWA 23 pretty soon. Many thanks for being in the seats!

The Story of The Celluloid Heroes of 1960 - A Fed in Black, White & Gray.
Card & Chapter 23 Match Results - From Sunnyside Gardens Arena, Queens - New York.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the card tonight: -------------------------------------
1. The Missing Link vs George The Animal Steele
2. Leap of Faith - rookie Jimmy Snuka & Johnny Saint vs The King & I - Lou Thesz & Dick Hutton
3. Killer Kowalski with Abdullah Farouk vs Ray Crippler Stevens
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match Results: ----------------------------
1. The Missing Link (2 fatigue & 2 near disqualifications; 1. Slamming Steele's Head Repeatedly Into The Steel Ring Barrier 2. A Wild Chair Shot) defeated George The Animal Steele (3 fatigue & 1 near disqualification - Choking The Link With A Steel Chair) via Pinfall.
(The Link pinned Steele courtesy of his BACK FLYING HEAD BUTT finisher at the 6 minute mark).
(A truly demented and violent six minute nightmare where nothing was held back and the referee let them tear each other apart. Although the referee raised The Links hand in victory, it didn't appear that anyone really won this one, after he vomited up a lot of turnbuckle stuffing in the center of the ring).

2. Leap Of Faith (1 defensive tag) - Rookie Jimmy Snuka (0 fatigue) & Johnny Saint (0 fatigue) defeated The King & I (0 defensive tags) - Lou Thesz (0 fatigue & 1 botched pin save) & Dick Hutton (3 fatigue) via Pinfall.
(Snuka pinned Hutton at the 6 minute mark courtesy of A Power Slam as Johnny Saint subdued the oncoming Thesz with his Head Mare And Chinlock).
(It was obvious that Leap of Faith never wanted to tangle with Lou Thesz, and they stuck to their plan to isolate Hutton inside the ring and focus their attack on him. Although Hutton went down swinging, Saint ultimately set up his partner Snuka to finish off Hutton with a power offense).

3. Killer Kowalski (1 fatigue & 2 near disqualifications; 1. Excessive Brawling Outside Ring 2. Hitting Stevens With A Steel Garbage Can) with Abdullah Farouk defeated Ray Crippler Stevens (5 fatigue With Blood Loss & 1 near disqualification - Disturbing Amounts Of Brawling Outside Ring) via Pinfall.
(Kowalski pinned Stevens courtesy of an Awkward Cross Body Block Off The Top Ropes at the 15 minute mark).
(Killer Kowalski came out against Stevens with several power moves but subsequently, he could not keep the incredibly tenacious Ray Stevens down. Once Stevens took the match outside the ring, Kowalski almost lost the match via being continually outbrawled followed up by a Crippling Piledriver - Kowalski needed to rely on his stature and weight to eventually get the victory).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story - Chapter 23 - Part 1 - An Unlikely Alliance: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(The scene is the training rooms underneath Sunnyside Gardens Arena. In the middle of the workout of the GWA tag team, The Argentinian Backbreakers, (Fritz Von Goering - the masked wrestler formerly known as Incognito and Pampero Firpo).
(Firpo is in the middle of bench presses and Von Goering is sitting in a corner, smoking a cigarette).
(Von Goering is trying to keep his cool, especially in front of Firpo, but inside - he is a mess. After being outed in front of the GWA fans, both in person and on live television, his mind is running away with itself. He is a wanted man in a few countries, including the United States. He hasn't eaten. His diet for the past few days has consisted of Vodka and unfilteted Camel cigarettes. His thoughts are interrupted by someone suddenly entering the room).
John Tolos - So..."Incognito"...you and I need to talk...
(At this point, Pampero Firpo put down his weights and sensing trouble, stood up to get in between his boss and John Tolos).
John Tolos (to Firpo) - Sit down fuzzy...the grownups need to discuss some owner talk...
(Intrigued by Tolos's appearance, Von Goering thanks Firpo but days its ok...although Firpo is not happy with this at all...he goes back to lifting weights without taking his eyes off of them).
Fritz Von Goering (as he walks into the far corner of the training room with Tolos) - Why are you here?
John Tolos - Since you look like you are destroying yourself...I'll make this quick...I know all about The Golden Valkyrie and how you and Blassie stole it during the war...I can also appreciate how you eluded being recognized or captured for so long...however...now that you've been unmasked...it's not going to take someone or even a few people long to finally nab you now...or worse...but...I can help you there...
Fritz Von Goering (with an air of disbelief) - Really...how?
John Tolos - I will put you up in my mansion...(motions to Firpo), even him if you want...to hide out...until the time is right...
Fritz Von Goering (thinking) - What about my wrestling obligations?
John Tolos - A friend of mine...will take your place on your team...Incognito The Second...shall be his name...another masked wrestler...
Fritz Von Goering - Why do you even care?
John Tolos - Because us...GWA owners need to stick together...especially...when the "Resident Vampire" doesn't give a shit...about either one of us...tell me...have you even heard from that asshole...in the last few days?...no right?...now that he has 60% of the GWA...he has what he wants...(steps closer, now eye to eye with Von Goering)...but I have some ideas...if you back me up...and follow my lead...we can turn the entire GWA and Blassie around to our advantage...
(Fritz Von Goering is quiet but his eyes give away that he is interested...and listening):
John Tolos - Why should you be screwed out of what should rightfully be coming to you...especially considering you...were the one...who actually pulled of the heist...and considering Blassie hates me...more than anyone on the planet...why shouldn't I be the one...to royally screw him?...
(They continue staring at each other until...Von Goering starts to smile...followed by a sneer...from Tolos):
Fritz Von Goering - How did you find out...about us?
John Tolos - That's not why I'm here...How did Blassie avoid capture?
Fritz Von Goering - Not discussing that...besides...you'd never believe me anyway...
Story - Chapter 23 - Part 2 - A Tale of Two Owners: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(The scene is the Holland Hotel on 42nd street in Manhattan...the headquarters of Vince McMahon Sr's Capitol Wrestling Corporation. GWA principal owner Freddie Blassie has just concluded his meeting with McMahon and is walking to a hotel that he is temporarily staying at a few blocks east of McMahon's headquarters. As Blassie enters his room, he orders a steak, cooked rare, and places a call that he has arranged with his commissioner, Strangler Lewis).
Strangler Lewis (activating his new speaker phone to answer Blassie's call, the only other people inside Lewis's office with him are Head of Security and Sky Low Low.) - Yeah...
Freddie Blassie - Listen...two things...has Lee Ming and his people arrived there yet?
Strangler Lewis (Looks at the silent Sky Low Low, who is currently holding and examining The Yakuza's Golden Valkyrie statuette in both of his hands...looking a little puzzled) - Yep...and the items he always travels with have been locked inside my safe...
Freddie Blassie - Good...also...I have 4 bets I need placed...with those pencil necks by my office...
Strangler Lewis (Looks at his Head of Security and snaps his fingers...Head of Security readies himself to record the information down with his pen and pad) - Go ahead...
Freddie Blassie - McMahon wants 10 grand each on...Tolos to win Hardcore...Carpentier to win Intercontinental...Rogers & George to win World Tag...and Thesz to win World Champ...got that?
Strangler Lewis - Got it...what else did he say?
Freddie Blassie - That's my business...
Strangler Lewis (as he holds up his middle finger towards the speakerphone) - Did you get my telegram about Maurice Tillet's ideas and offer?
Freddie Blassie - Yeah...Go ahead with all...
Strangler Lewis - Good...we are holding GWA 25 at The Polo Grounds...
Freddie Blassie - Really?...how'd you swing that?
Strangler Lewis - That's my business...
Freddie Blassie (grunts) - I'm staying in Manhattan for a few days...I'll see you at The Polo Grounds...(hangs up)...
Strangler Lewis (after disconnecting the call) - Dick...
(Strangler Lewis turns towards Sky Low Low...who has returned The Golden Valkyrie back inside the cast iron floor safe and has sealed it).
Strangler Lewis (to his Head of Security as he goes to the Yakuzas bookie office to place McMahon's bets) - Thanks...Sky...when you were holding The Valkyrie...you had a...a weird look on your face...what's up?
Sky Low Low (scratching his chin) - It didn't feel the way I thought it would...I can't explain it...
Strangler Lewis - C'mon...we gotta go see legal about getting the contracts ready...so we can get Tillet and his ideas in here...
Sky Low Low (still thinking) - I guess for some reason, it seemed lighter than I thought it would...
Strangler Lewis (poking fun at him) - Oh because of how all of your other priceless treasures in your warehouse feel huh?
Sky Low Low (laughing) - You know me so well...
Strangler Lewis - Hey...is that Monroe picture in a sealed envelope?
Sky Low Low - Yeah...unfortunately...friggin Mingy doesn't want anyone touching it...but...
Strangler Lewis - What?
Sky Low Low - My brother is a master at unsealing and resealing envelopes...You know...I think for all our hard work...we deserve a copy of this photo...
Strangler Lewis (smiling) - I like you're style...
Sky Low Low (also smiling) - Mee too...

Always enjoy this fed...maybe a crossover with OWE at some point for a stadium special? Hey TTX! As always, I always appreciate you're kind words and for being a part of this and all of my endeavors. That's an interesting thought about a cross over with the OWF fed, and it's very funny that you mention it. I don't have any plans for that (yet) however, on GWF 24, in particular the second part of chapter 24 in the story, someone comes into the story from a different time period. Thanks again my friend!

Hello all!
Just a quick note before me next post.
The Global Wrestling Alliance (through the business dealings in the story between GWA commissioner Strangler Lewis and Maurice Tillet), are going to be running an event called Stable Wars.
Stable Wars will consist of 8 teams, with each team comprised of 3 wrestlets. The matches will be no disqualification, BattleZone Matches - single elimination matches between the two teams until only one side is left.
Each team is, in addition to competing for the $1,000,000.00 prize, also trying to gain something else in the process.
Up next is the background on the first team of the eight.
Hoping the GWA is worth the read!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ GLOBAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stable Wars Team Number One: -------------------------------------------------------- The Resistance
The French Angel - Maurice Tillet
Edouard Carpentier
Andre Roussimoff
Background: ------------------------
Maurice Tillet, the former head of the French counterintelligence group, The Maginot has retired & returned to his first love, professional wrestling.
It was his idea for this event, especially after the very young but very enormous Andre Roussimoff approached Edouard Carpentier to be trained as a professional wrestler.
Each of the eight teams in Stable Wars are competing in the event for an additional reason other than the 1 million dollars in cash that is to be awarded to the winners.
In the case of Maurice Tillet's "Resistance", if they win, he (Tillet) will be investing 5 million dollars of his own money into The GWA.
If The Resistance loses the event, then Tillet will be investing 10 million dollars into The GWA.
In his own words, in either scenario, The GWA cannot lose.
Although all teams are encouraged to confer with their lawyers before signing, Tillet is the only one who did, matter of fact, the contract for his team has even been tweaked by both sides of lawyers, for personal and for mutual advantage.
More to follow on those legal developments though...we have to see if they win or not.

Card & Chapter 24 Match Results - From Sunnyside Gardens Arena, Queens - New York.

On the card tonight: -------------------------------------
1. Al Costello with Wild Red Berry vs Incognito The Second
2. The Linebackers - rookie Angelo Mosca & Pepper Gomez vs Inglorious Bastards - The Crusher & George The Animal Steele
3. Rookie Ivan Koloff vs Gorgeous George with Cherie Dupre
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Match Results: ----------------------------
1. Al Costello (4 fatigue with Blood Loss & 2 near count outs; 1. Being Shoulder Breakered Onto The Concrete Floor 2. Being Neckbreakered Onto The Concrete Floor) with Wild Red Berry (1 distraction) defeated Incognito The Second (2 fatigue) via Pinfall.
(Costello pinned Incognito The Second courtesy of his Aussie Suplex at the 12 minute mark).
(Incognito The Second ragdolled Al Costello in this match, especially after hitting him with his ferocious HEART PUNCH finisher. Had it not been for a key distraction by Berry, that finisher would have given the victory to Incognito The Second, but iinstead, it gave Costello just barely enough time to mount a comeback).

2. The Linebackers (1 defensive tag) - Rookie Angelo Mosca (0 fatigue) & Pepper Gomez (0 fatigue) defeated The Inglorious Bastards (1 defensive tag) - The Crusher (0 fatigue) & George The Animal Steele (2 fatigue & 1 destroyed turnbuckle) via Disqualification.
(George The Animal Steele was disqualified at the 6 minute mark for a relentless barrage of Gorilla Like Hammer Fists to Angelo Mosca's Head While Sitting On His Chest Outside The Ring).
(It was a tag match that spiraled out of control as soon as Angelo Mosca and George The Animal Steele faced each other one on one inside the ring. The match from that point on was fought more outside the ring than in, and had it not been for the extra security, led personally by a fast talking Head of Security, who got not only, in between the warring teams but also between them and the police on duty, Steele and The Crusher would have no doubt been arrested on the spot).

3. Gorgeous George (0 fatigue) with Cherie Dupre defeated Rookie Ivan Koloff (0 fatigue) via Pinfall.
(Gorgeous George pinned Ivan Koloff courtesy of an Airplane Spin at the 3 minute mark).
(Gorgeous George took Ivan Koloff to town and made him look like a rookie in this one, relying on his superior agility and experience, which inticed Cheri Dupre to shout out while holding George's hand up in victory, "Future World Champion". As Ivan Koloff argued vehemently with the referee, because George had also gotten the three count while holding Koloff's tights for leverage, Koloff's teammate, Ray Crippler Stevens watched from his ringside seat and simply shook his head back and forth in utter disgust).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Story - Chapter 24 - Part 1 - A Chivalrous Organization: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(From an undisclosed location - The following items were discussed by the Yakuza and or demanded by their Grand Master/Patriarch, Lee Ming, aka Ming The Merciless):
1. That annoying rival clan has been disposed of. They will not be an issue anymore, nor will they ever be found.
2. Ming insisted that the women be transported to the new brothel immediately! We open in two days, and he will not tolerate any more mistakes or delays.
3. The city wide collections have been confirmed & they are still all going according to schedule, even those from some of the local New York City Police.
4. Ming is having a mansion built, he will soon take up residence in Flushing, Queens. This will be his second home and headquarters, after his primary one in Tokyo.
5. All of the high profile U.S. drug sales, effective immediately, will now only happen inside Mings mansion, which he has termed "The Great Wall", (His new property in Flushing has a very tall stone wall around the perimeter), to maintain extreme secrecy.
6. Ming insisted that Rikidozan win the GWA World Title at GWA 25, and that Antonino Inoki has to start picking up his game, quickly.
7. FYI, (Ming ran this operations meeting today while shouting out orders & simultaneously easily out wrestling jobbers inside his own personal wrestling ring).
8. Once Ming destroyed the last jobber for the day, he walked up to Rikidozan and asked him to, "Tell me more about this...Stable Wars".
9. Rikidozan told him all the particulars as well as; that the prizes are still being discussed and up for negotiation, but most importantly - there is a 1 million dollar cash prize to the winning team. Ming responded that more than anything else here, our victory would prove to the world - just how much power and greatness, "My Yakuza possesses".
10. Ming told Rikizozan that he himself, will form a Stable Wars team with Inoki and Rikidozan to bring honor and glory to The Yakuza. Ming told Rikidozan to start doubling his workouts and told him to tell Inoki...to triple his.
Story - Chapter 24 - Part 2 - The Leatherman ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The scene is a heavily wooded area in upstate New York. A man suddenly appears...where just a second ago...there wasn't anyone standing there.
He is roughly 6 feet tall but very solidly built, probably in the range of 255 to 260 pounds but appears lighter, with extremely powerful legs & not an inch of fat on him...at all.
He was relieved that the travel went pretty smoothly, no disorientation or nausea this time.
He was dressed and covered from head to toe, in brownish/tanish leather clothing, including gloves, and a mask that basically resembled a wrestlers mask, but it was much cruder, much more disturbing looking.
He knew just where he had to go, and whom of course...he was here for...just like all the other times he researched a job.
He was good at what he did, in fact...he was the best at what he did.
He's a hunter...many say from where he comes from that he's...The...Hunter.
He set out on foot, under the cover of night for his destination, his infravision never failed him, even in total darkness.
Whom he was looking for lived in Queens, New York and was a part of The GWA, a big part of it.
The Leatherman decided though to delay this job some...might even stick around The GWA for a bit...since for some reason this time, the pick up is delayed and isn't until about a month from now anyway.
And just for shits and giggles...he thought he would try out...at one of those periodic open wrestling tryouts The GWA have just started to hold.
He hopes he'll...make the cut...he amusingly thought to himself...
