Yay, I found your new fed! Loving these write-ups, promos and snippets of commentary!
I was surprised that The Sheik and Kowalski lost a Texas Death Match - would have thought The Sheik would have been right at home in that lawless environment, but the Quiet Men - Don Leo Jonathan & Yukon Eric - did some soul-searching and went to a dark place in their minds to pull out a victory. They seemed to get so into it that, if I'm not mistaken, Don Leo Jonathan may even have been enjoying wearing the crimson mask...

Great main event and huge win by Eric pinning the Sheik. Hey TTX! It was definitely a fun card to roll out and I was pretty stoked to see Brazil get the victory and stay in contention for the title. Will be posting card 5 match announcements soon my friend. Many thanks brother! |

Looks like some bad blood is brewing between Yukon Eric and The Sheik... Interested to see where that goes... Fun times! Hey Pariah! Yep, ever since The Sheik mangled up Don Leo Jonathan in their head to head confrontation, Yukon Eric has definitely had his tag partners back. With Farouk teaching The Sheik the fine art of the FIREBALL, chaos is ensuing on a whole other level now. Although I have the roster under "Faces and Heels", some may have elements of both. Down the line, there will be bonafide tweeners, partially due to maniacs like The Sheik or possibly some of the other roster members who haven't wrestled yet. Very glad you are enjoying and a part of it all amigo! |

I couldn't agree more, I had a feeling it was going to be a bit of a war but I was also suprised that The Sheik & Kowalski didn't get that victory. I also agree with your theory of what color the sky is in Don Leo Jonathan's head at the moment, you hit it right on the head. When The Sheik pulled that Foreign Object on him during their confrontation, as a result of this (although DLJ got the much needed win), DLJ sort of went upstairs from Bruce Banner into The Hulk. And (the way I'm writing him) Yukon Eric was on the fence/edge already, he was just looking for a reason. As I had mentioned to Pariah, with tweeners soon to be a part of The GWA - I wouldn't be suprised if The Quiet Men go down that road. Getting ready to post card 5 announcements pretty soon. I have been playing catchup and may I say Bri you have done it again. Everything from the format to the action is top notch. This fed is a blast to read. Hey cruefan68! Extremely cool to have you in the mix my friend. I am going to be following this format throughout. One thing I always had a problem with doing when running a large fed was not everyone in it had a story, let alone a voice. I am trying to paint pictures of just who everyone is within The GWA. I am also going to stick to a roster cap so it doesn't overwhelm me. Much more to come God willing and this fed is also a Feast of Friends my man! |

Pampero Firpo - Now's the time that the whole GWA gets to see The Argentinian Backbreakers for the very first time...I vow to make my boss...Incognito...proud...
Incognito - (Talking out loud to himself) - The Owner has really done well for himself here...thanks of course mostly to me...but it was his plan...afterall...to steal the Golden Angel statuette from the French during the end of the war...and to now...Finally!...sell it for millions...I just did most of the heavy lifting that's all...this masked alias he came up with will work perfectly for me here...I can remain hidden in plain sight...so to speak... indefinitely...life is good...and just getting better...co-ownership of the GWA...here I come!...(but what "Incognito" didn't realize was...GWA Commissioner Ed Strangler Lewis was within earshot of Incognito as he was doing all of his thinking out loud...and Lewis heard every word he said...time to put his Head of Security on the case behind the scenes).
Red Bastien - This man who calls himself Incognito...I am fairly certain I have seen him before...I think he wrestled somewhere else before coming here...they say his finisher actually is...a Backbreaker...I wonder...
Billy Red Lyons - Look...no matter who that clown is...we can take them...how good can he be?...Firpo is more the one I'm worried about...that guy is a bit nuts...and the more hurt he gets...the crazier he goes...

Chris Tolos - (speaking to a mailbox, tree, squirrel and now a barely coherent wino, sitting against the mailbox on the pavement on that same corner by the arena...at 2:55 am) - Ladies and Gentlemen...I think the truth has now revealed itself...I think the Devil's secret...now has...the light...cast upon them (the wino slowly looks up at the streetlight on this corner in confusion)...this rookie...Harley Race...is obviously infected from head to toe in evil...he beat The Link like I have never seen The Link get beat before...and in mere seconds...he must now be added to the list...that is...Project Double Team Exorcism...he will no doubtedly thank us...once we force him to...See The Right...Of The Light...In Our Fight!!!...
(rookie) Harley Race - It's just a matter of time...everyone throughout The GWA is talking about how I obliterated The Missing Link setting the new record for quickest victory...now his leader Chris Tolos who I sure as shit know is the one in charge of that blackout beating Johnny and I got...as I march towards The World Championship...it's all going to fall into place...I will get revenge against this fanatic...take a step towards the title and the icing on the cake...will be to beat this guy even quicker than the time it took to beat The Missing Link.

Both rookies had a lot to prove as well as lose and both definitely made statements, Mr. Saito's offense was so focused it would have made a Samurai proud; whereas Mascaras's tenacity and heart were already at what many considered a championship level. Saito eventually got Mascaras in a position to where he could execute his primary finisher.
(rookie) Mr. Saito ( fatigue 0 ) defeated (rookie) Mil Mascaras ( fatigue 6 & serious blood loss ) via Submission. Mascaras eventually submitted to Saito's primary finisher - SCORPION LEGLOCK on the third attempt.

2. Tag Team - The Argentinian Backbreakers - Pampero Firpo & A Masked Man Who Calls Himself - Incognito vs Tag Team - The Flying Redheads - Red Bastien & Billy Red Lyons:

The Flying Redheads had this match won, with their teamwork and a spirited Billy Red Lyons; (who crushed Incognito outside of the ring as he Cross Body Blocked him into the ring barrier), Lyons clamped on his secondary finisher FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK and that would have been all she wrote. Until - Pampero Firpo applied his EL GARFIO Clawhold finisher to Lyons breaking up the attempt; in the confusion between The Referee getting Firpo out of the ring, Incognito then swiftly made his decisive countering move.
Pampero Firpo ( 0 fatigue ) & Incognito ( 2 fatigue ) defeated Red Bastien ( 0 fatigue & 1 unsuccessful pin save ) & Billy Red Lyons ( 0 fatigue ) via Pinfall. Incognito pinned Lyons courtesy of his BACKBREAKER finisher as Firpo intercepted the on-rushing Bastien and started Biting him.

The Ring Announcer - Ladies and Gentlemen...we are sorry for the delay with your main event...for this evening...I have a few announcements to make...Commissioner Lewis has changed the terms for tonight's main event due to a very extreme pre match locker room brawl...between all of the participants...rookie sensation Harley Race will still...face Chris Tolos tonight...but they will face off against one another for one fall...inside a 15 foot high Steel Cage...the match will start in approximately 20 minutes...we thank you for your patience...the GWA fans...are THE greatest fans in the world!...

The intensity that these two were operating at was off the charts, both faces had a black eye upon entering the cage and were both soon broken open from the cage walls; at first Chris Tolos held the upper hand, even coming extremely close to victory with a Sunset Flip. However, after Tolos attempted a Deathjump after preaching his own righteousness, Harley Race caught him and Powerslamed him out of his senses; although Tolos showed a lot of willpower as well as an incresasingly disturbed mind, Harley Race pulled out the stops to end it.
Harley Race ( 1 fatigue & blood loss ) defeated Chris Tolos ( 5 fatigue & blood loss ) via Pinfall. A bloodied Race pinned a very bloodied Tolos courtesy of his PILEDRIVER finisher.

Announcer throughout an avalanche of boos - telling all with regards to the tag bout that...he was lenient on both sides...GWA Commissioner Strangler Lewis told his Head of Security about overhearing the masked wrestler Incognito talking out loud to himself about a very valuable stolen Golden Angel statuette that somehow involves Incognito and The GWA Owner - and Lewis want's his Head of Security to find out the scoop). Head of Security (To Lewis) - I'm on it...these new security hires should be able to manage things here...I'm gonna have to dip into that huge Security account The Owner gave you...Strangler Lewis - Dip away...even if you have to go overseas...thats fine...Head of Security - I might have to...but being retired former C.I.A...I know...a lot of people...and still even have some at my disposal...I may need to hire as well...
Security Crewmember (speaking to the Second In Command of Security in The Head of Securities Office) - O.K...Valentine and Race have left the arena...and Tolos refuses medical attention, insisting upon trying to build a large wooden cross out of all that wood that The Sheik destroyed in the basement...Second In Command - (puffs mightily from his cigarette and exhales) O.K...lock Tolos in, he'll knock himself out...anything else? Security Crewmember - The Link got loose...but we cornered him in the park.
