January Year #1 Prime TV Episode #3Commentators: “Agent” Aaron MaGuire, Joe Dombrowski
In the Ring: The show starts with Commissioner Labar in the ring. He goes on to say, that while he has no problem with the ruthless aggression on display in Prime Wrestling, that he does have a problem when that aggression impacts the bottom line! Johnny Gargano and the Briscoes are both out due to injury from attacks. This impacts the financial ties of Prime Wrestling, and that is not ok. Cox goes in to say that starting now, he will be reviewing each incident that happens and will determine if suspensions need to be handed out! This brings him to the events of Rhino/Rowe and Youthanazia/S.C.U.M. Since these matches never happened due to brawls starting before the matches got underway, that they will both happen! Labar goes on to say he has no problem with Rhino and Rowe trying to prove they are the most dominant man in Prime Wrestling. So, Rhino/Rowe will take place at New Year’s Resolution next week! The match will also be a no DQ match! Youthanazia/S.C.U.M. will also take place at New Year’s Resolution. However, both teams will have a match tonight, to loosen them up.
Veda Scott vs Madison Rayne The fans were ready for some action, but got disappointed in this one. Veda was able to hit a sunset flip bomb on Rayne, which had Rayne take a breather on the outside of the ring. When Veda went out after her, Rayne kicked her low and the dropped her onto the barricade. The referee immediately called for the bell. “Agent” Aaron McGuire wonders outloud if the referee was playing it too safe, after the announcements of Commissioner LaBar. Winner: Veda Scott (DQ) Fatigue: N/A
Backstage: Youthanazia is backstage, and the proceed to say that they are the foundation of Prime Wrestling. Both, Matt Cross and Josh Prohibition have been founding members and have been here since day one. Megalomaniacs w/ Judge Hugo Black Lexington vs Youthanazia Youthanazia talked a big game, and it was time to deliver. Youthanazia attacked the Megalomaniacs before the bell rang to gain an advantage. Cross and Prohibition make frequent tags, that allowed the, to wear down first Valentino, and then Fontaine. With his men in trouble, Judge Black slipped an object to Valentino. He then got on the apron, which drew the attention of the referee. With the referee distracted, Valentino then hit Cross with the foreign object, and then proceeded to smash Prohibition with it too. Thus gave the Megalomaniacs the edge they needed. Valentino and Fontaine then took their turns wearing down both Cross and Prohibition with their dirty tactics, and liberal use of the foreign object when the referee wasn’t looking. At the end, Valentino cracked Cross with the foreign object one last time, and then proceeded to make the cover, with his feet on the ropes to score the win. Megalomaniacs (feet on ropes) Fatigue: Valentino 3, Fontaine 2; Cross 5, Josh 6
S.C.U.M. vs Homeless Handicapped Connection This match was all S.C.U.M. They had no issues in dealing with the Homeless Handicapped Connection. However, they grew too confident and as Corino used a roll of quarters in his fist to knock out Iron, it broke apart, spilling into the canvas, giving the referee all he needed to call for the DQ. Winners: Homeless Handicapped Connection (DQ) Fatigue: Hobo 1, Iron 2
Backstage: Youthanazia are complaining about how they should have won due to the dirty tactics of the Megalomaniacs. They are then interrupted by S.C.U.M., who tells the, they just aren’t good enough to get the job done. This leads to a brawl that requires security to break things up!
Brodie Lee vs Jigsaw The fans were not ready for how quick this match was! Right at the bell, Lee rushed Jigsaw and went for a big boot. Jigsaw rolled away, which caused Lee to get hung up on the top rope. Jigsaw hit the ropes and delivered a dropkick to the back of Lee’s knee. Lee was down in pain, and Jigsaw followed up with a snap ddt. Lee was rocked, and in an incredible display of strength, Jigsaw lifted Lee and hit a brainbuster! Jigsaw made the cover, and this one was over! Winner: Jigsaw (brainbuster) Fatigue: N/A
Prime Women’s Championship Match Portia Perez (c) vs Marti Belle Belle was given this shot after her dominate and quick win over Havok on earlier this month. Perez saw this as a great warm up, for her title defense at New Year’s Resolution. Marti Belle wasted no time and attacked the champ before the bell rang. A couple of suplexes followed by a dropkick had Belle rolling, and sent Perez outside the ring. This was Belle’s downfall, as this allowed Perez to trip up Belle, and to wrap her leg around the ring post three times. Marti was in pain, and gingerly rose to her feet. She turned around and Perez can off the turnbuckle with a double ax handle that floored Belle. Perez made the cover and this one was over. Portia Perez retains the Prime Women’s Championship! As Perez is celebrating, Jessicka Havok comes out, which saw Perez slink out of the ring. Havok doesn’t even pay her any mind as she climbs into the ring and goes straight for Belle! Marti is in no shape and gets run over by a furious clothesline. Havoc then proceeds to hit Belle with not one, but two Havokillers leaving Belle laying in the ring. Havok lets out her signature scream as the show comes to its end! Winner: Portia Perez (double ax handle) Fatigue: N/A
