January Year #1 Atlanta, GA Prime Wrestling presents: New Year’s Resolution Commentators: “Agent” Aaron MaGuire, Joe Dombrowski
Prime Women’s Championship Match Portia Perez(c) vs Veda Scott Perez came to the ring all confident, as she has turned back challenger after challenger recently. However, this made her overconfident, and she may have been looking past Veda. Veda was able to keep Perez guessing, as she switched between clotheslines, suplexes, and DDT’s. Perez was definitely rocked, and a Q.E.D. ended the night! Veda Scott wins the Prime Women’s Championship!!! Portia was is shock as she not only lost, but could not figure out Scott! Winner: Veda Scott (Q.E.D.) Fatigue: Perez 2
Youthanazia vs S.C.U.M. Youthanazia is set to prove they are “the” tag team of Prime Wrestling. Thus, Matt Cross attacks Jacobs before the bell even rings. Matt scores a few near falls, before S.C.U.M. has a chance to react. However, a brawl turns the tide for S.C.U.M. Corino takes over and isolates Cross from his partner. Corino and Jacobs combined for a spike piledriver on Cross, but somehow Cross kicks out at 2 3/4! However, this was just a small reprive as Jacobs take some over and hits the end of time for the win. After the bell, Josh rushes S.C.U.M. and a brawl ensues. Both teams begin to beat in the other, totally ignoring the referee’s instructions. Commissioner LaBar came out with security to break things up, so the show can continue. Winner: S.C.U.M. (The End of Time) Fatigue: Cross 5, Josh 1; Jacobs 2
Jessicka Havok vs Marti Belle There is some bad blood between these two women. The match starts off fast and brutal as both women intend to hurt the other. It did not take long for Tom Dunn to lose control, as both women were brawling outside the ring. Dunn tried to stop both women, as they escalated and swung chairs at one another. As Tom Dunn demanded that both women drop the chairs and return to the ring, then both look at one another, then at Dunn, and shrug and both blast Tom Dunn with the chairs! Havok and Belle then continue their assault on one another, until Jake Clemons comes out and calls for a no contest to this match. Tom Dunn is taken to the back by the medical team, and Jake Clemons takes over the referee duties for the rest of the show. Winner: No Contest Fatigue: Havok 1
No Disqualification Match Rhino vs Raymond Rowe Both men are looking to prove they are the dominant man in Prime Wrestling. This match starts out normal, as both men feel the other out. Then as the frustration grows, both men start throwing bombs, not looking to put on a wrestling clinic. Rhino clothesline’s Rowe out of the ring, and tosses him into the barricade a few times. Rowe responds by pushing Rhino into the ringside stairs, to gain a breather. Rowe the rocks Rhino with a trio of stiff knees. The man beast won’t stay down and almost takes off Rowe’s head with a nasty clothesline. A piledriver by Rhino I still not able to be capitalized on, as Rowe rolls outside the ring. As Rhino follows, he sets up for a gore. As he runs at Rowe, he takes a chair to the head. Rowe, regains control and gets Rhino back into the ring. Rhino catches Rowe coming back into the ring with a ddt. Rowe tries to pull himself up in the corner. Rhino sees this and goes for the Gore! Rowe, at the last second, move seems out of the way, resulting in Rhino crashing into the middle turnbuckle hard. Rhino is dazed, which allows Rowe to hit a stalling suplex. Rowe then drapes an arm over Rhino to score the win. Winner: Raymond Rowe (stalling suplex) Fatigue: Rhino 6; Rowe 3
Prime Tag Team Championship Match UnStable vs Dream Team(c) UnStable were determined to end the reign of the Dream Team. Delaney and Gerard, are effective in isolating Brutus as they work him over. Delaney and Gerard use some underhanded tactics that have Valentine fuming. After scoring a second near fall on Brutus, Valentine had enough, and got into the ring and cleaned house! Clemons sternly warns Valentine, who drags Brutus to his corner, then tags himself in. Greg then runs over Delaney, even locking on the figure four! Delaney, however, was able to get to the ropes to force the break. Greg tags Brutus back in then, runs and boots Gerard from the apron! Greg follows to take care of Gerard. Brutus, during all this, locks on the sleeper and Delaney is in trouble. Colin fights, but the veteran Brutus keeps him in the center of the ring. Clemons raises Colin’s arm three times, and three times it slumps to his side! Dream Team retains the Prime Tag Team Championship!!! After the bell, UnStable attack Dream Team. For the second time tonight, Commissioner LaBar and security needed to come out to restore order! Winner: Dream Team (Sleeper) Fatigue: Delaney 1; Brutus 3
Prime Championship Match Keith Lee vs Christopher Daniels(c) In the early going, Daniels had control over Lee. A sunset flip set up for an sto, which led to a trio of best moonsaults ever. Lee was dazed, but did not give up. A missed turnbuckle clothesline by Daniels allowed Lee to crush him with a clothesline of his own. Then as Daniels is dazed, he connects with a Spirit Bomb! Daniels kicks out at 2 1/2 , which frustrates Lee. Lee hits a Ground Zero, and again Daniels kicks out! Lee then goes to the top rope, but ends up failing to connect with a moonsault of his own. Daniels rebounds with a couple of clothesline’s, a dropkick, and am sto. Daniels then hits fall from grace, and Lee does not kick out! Christopher Daniels retains the Prime Championship!!! Nice to see it back in action and Nevaeh getting the surprise win. Thanks brother! Now that things have calmed down for me, I can get back to posting again and it feels food. Nevaeh was a surprise as Perez was in total control for most of the match, except for a few roles on the charts, which helped Nevaeh get the win almost out of nowhere. Thanks for tuning in!
