Anniversary January 27, 2013Q Arena Cleveland, OHRicky Starks def. Rex Havoc: by DQ Rex Havoc just punished Ricky Starks in this one. The referee finally had enough and disqualified Havoc after slamming Starks head first into the steel ring post for the third time. Havoc, venting his disappointment, then slams Starks into the barricade repeatedly, until finally the referee was able to break it up. Starks was helped to the back by the medical personnel.
Extreme Horsemen def. American Fun: by DQ With nothing but disdain for their opponents, Extreme Horsemen unloaded on American Fun right when the bell rang. In desperation, Dick Justice hit a low blow on Anderson, but the referee saw it and called for the bell! The Extreme Horsemen lived up to their namesake as they smashed Greg Excellent with a steel chair. Dick Justice did not escape, as he was powerbombed onto the barricade. Greg Excellent was stretchered out to the back by the medical personnel. No DQ Match The Reckoning def. The Megalomaniacs: by submission This one was expected to be a war and a war is what the fans got. Both teams started off cautiously measuring one another, but that quickly ended and bombs were thrown. As both teams were bloody and spent, Lance Hoyt lifted Marion Fontaine up and drove him threw the announcer’s table! This allowed Eric Ryan to catch Rickey Shane Page in his patented Ryantamer. Page was in extreme pain, as he tried to break the hold, but he could not, and ended up passing out, giving The Reckoning the brutal win!
Prime TV Championship Delirious def. Micheal Kai Rayne: by DQ Micheal Kai Rayne looked to enact revenge against Delirious and to hopefully get past him. Well, that did not happen. The referee had to call for the bell when Rayne decided to drop the steel steps onto the head of Delirious. The champion retains his title, but it is clear this rivalry is far from over.
Necro Butcher def. Louis Lyndon: by pinfall Louis Lyndon looked to get payback against Necro Butcher for injuring Lio Rush. It was clear that Lyndon had no answer to the stronger Butcher. A Necro Bomb ended this short but intense match.
Micheal Elgin def. “No Fear” Mike Mondo: by pinfall Elgin has been on his mission to prove he is the most dominant man in Prime Wrestling. Mondo was his latest challenge, and a challenge he provided. Both men fought hard to prove who was more dominant. A superplex late into the match seemed to stun Mondo long enough for Elgin to hit a deadlift powerbomb to put Mondo away! After the bell, Adam Cole came out and with Mondo they attack Elgin as they hit a spike piledriver onto the floor! Both men are proud of themselves, as Elgin was wobbly and needed help getting to the back.
Prime Tag Team Championship Armed and Dangerous def. Youthanazia: by pinfall Youthanazia controlled most of this match as they isolated and double teamed Gregory Iron. A desperate tag to Davey Vega brings on the fire, as he cleans house. A sunset flip off the ropes, secures the win as Vega pins Cross! Both teams shook hands after such a great match.
Prime Championship Steel Cage Match Johnny Gargano def. Jimmy Jacobs: by escaping the cage The highly anticipated grudge match is here. Johnny Gargano seeks to beat Jacobs and finally put him behind him. Jacobs on the other hand is relentless in taking everything from Gargano before he destroys him. This match quickly defends into a brawl, as both men tore into each other. Both men use the cage as a weapon repeatedly slamming their opponent into the unforgiving steel. Neither man look to win early, as punishment was clearly on their minds. Gargano started to fore on all cylinders, when Jacobs stopped his momentum with a low blow. Jacobs took a breather and then retrieved his Railroad Spike from his boot. He advanced on Gargano and a show he was about to strike, Gargano stopped playing possum and hit his own low blow on Jacobs! Jacobs dropped the Railroad Spike as he dropped to the mat. Johnny Gargano picked up the Railroad Spike, and after looking to the crowd, and hearing them egg him on, he repeatedly slammed the spike into Jacobs head! After the third strike, Gargano threw the spike outside the cage, and then used a spinning revolution to bring Jacobs down and right into the Gargano Escape! Jacobs was beaten! He was a bloody mess and there was not rope breaks. In what some said was hours, while others said it was seconds, Jacobs finally passs out. Gargano refuses to release the hold, until the referee opens the cage door and pleads with Gargano to leave to cage. Gargano seems to snap out of it, and makes his way through the door of the cage winning the match! Medics came to check on both men, as both were bleeding, but Jacobs was unconscious in a pool of his own blood. The fans cheered loudly for their hometown hero as the show ended!
