WWE officials have made overtures to Fenix and Pentagon Jr., according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The brothers currently hold the MLW Tag Team Titles and the PWG World Tag Team Titles as Los Lucha Brothers. Pentagon held the Impact World Heavyweight Title earlier this year.
There’s no word yet on what came of the feelers but word is that both wrestlers still have three seasons left on their current contracts with Lucha Underground.
It was recently revealed that WWE has interest in another former Lucha Underground champion, Angelico. WWE has had interest in Angelico on & off for years now but the big hold-up was his Lucha Underground contract, which is no longer an issue.

I like the idea. Wonder if WWE would let them be themselves? If WWE is serious about the cruiserweight division they need some exciting stars. I would enjoy seeing these two as a tag team on the main roster too. Still can't believe how bad the B-Team vs Hardy & Wyatt has been. A real embarrassment to the tag division compared to the past.

Lots of people will complain on websites but I'm good with it especially the more they get to be themselves.

It could be great. Both are fantastic wrestlers but WWE never seems to know what to do with luchadores.

If Fenix and Pentagon both have 3 years left on their Lucha Underground contracts then isn't any interest by the WWE a moot point, at least for now? I remember Ricochet's contract with Lucha Underground ended after Season 3 but Ricochet had to wait not just until Season 3 of Lucha Underground was filmed but until the season finale of Season 3 was actually televised before he was able to sign with the WWE.

If that is what they want then I hope it works out for them. Otherwise I hope they stay in LU and Impact while working the indies.

If they go they'll each have great runs in NXT and then be turned into two anonymous geeks on 205 Live. If the money's there I don't fault them for taking it but I think we're all fooling ourselves if we think WWE has any idea how to use either one of them.

I think the E would nix about half to 3/4s of each man's offense, what with all the superkicks and flipping piledrivers and what have you.

They'd definitely outlaw Pentagon's package piledriver just like they did Kevin Steen's.
