Ygorr has become a sentimental favorite for me....so lost and yet trying his best. Congrats to my boys, Titan Samurai for beating the vampires.

Twitter Wars
@murtakthemerciless I saw an online poll results for most popular in the GWF and I wasn't on it. I bet they left me off as a choice. Well fear not Murtak Maniacs. I have a plan to win the non believers over and be the most popular. Ever.
@bex I am almost healed and ready to come back to action. When I do I want Bishop Hell. I will destroy him.
- @bishophell Someone sure is fired up. Just burning to get your hands on me, huh?
@sinful At BATS I become new GWF Ladies Champion when I make Elina bleed. Again.

Beneath The Mat
Due to all the uproar over the plan to hold Battle Among The Stars at Godsend Amphitheater and not willing to cave to public pressure to hold it at Deimos Intergalactic Arena it was decided to hold it at The AC Arena. A few facts about GWF at The AC Arena this year.
- Alpha Female has been on both cards and faced Fhanna both times, winning each time.
- Sly Drury is also 2-0 there including beating Godsend for the Castilex Heavyweight Championship.
- The feud between Predators and Death Dealers began at the first card after Lope beat Coven Black. Necros came down and joined his partner in attacking Lope that led to an injury.
Mass, an FTR wrestler, has been heard going around saying something big is coming soon and he will be at the forefront of it. Most people think he's just trying to promote himself to get a call up to the main roster.
Word is that after GWF officials viewed the security video from the Janus Star Center they wanted to extend the suspension for Splatter X but Godsend talked them out of it. He wanted to punish Splatter X in the ring.

Card #21 - Milky Way Cathedral
A quick run down of what happened at the Janus Star Center including first time shown the security video showing Splatter X attacking Commissioner Eydilon from behind then we go to the ring for the opening bout.
Splatter X defeated Godsend via pinfall.
When Splatter X entered the ring it looked like he planned on wrestling with his barbed wire sleeves on. However the ref made him take them off. As he did a few barbs snagged and tore his flesh but he didn't even flinch. The camera showed some blood trickling down his arm.
After the opening bell Godsend took it to the new comer. He even hit his finisher early but Splatter X kicked out. Godsend tossed Splatter X out of the ring and went out after him. That was a mistake and the turning point.
Splatter X grabbed the Castilex champion and tossed him into the barricade. As the ref told him to take the action back into the ring he lifted Godsend up and bodyslammed him onto the announcers table. It looked like he wanted to do more damage but tossed his opponent in the ring to avoid getting a DQ. Splatter X kept the onslaught going. He tossed Godsend out of the ring and at one point shoved the Kingdom leader who slightly bumped the ref knocking him down. As the ref tried to recover Splatter X took his "little helper" and hit Godsend in the stomach with it.
The action returned to the ring and after some more offense Splatter X went and picked up one of his barbed wire sleeves. Of course the ref would not allow that so he grabbed it and went to put it back in the corner, carefully. As the ref was distracted Splatter X reached into his shirt, maybe into a hidden pocket, and pulled out brass knuckles wrapped in barbed wire. He put them on and slugged Godsend in the forehead busting him up. As Splatter X put the knucks back and Godsend hit the canvass the ref turned around oblivious to what happened. Splatter X went for the cover and got the win.
After the match as Splater X simply walked off and Godsend tried to recover in the ring we see Monolith on the jumbotron. "Hey Godsend, hope I am not interrupting anything. It is just I was thinking I don't have a match at Battle and you don't have a match at Battle so how about we have a match. For your Castilex Heavyweight Championship. What do you..." Monolith pauses and makes a wiping motion at his forehead, "looks like you got a lil something on your face there champ. Anyways what do you say. We got a match?" At this an angry Godsend stands up and nods his head violently and yells "Yes!" thus accepting the match.
Camera is on Commander Sam and Massif in a small meeting room. Massif asks Sam if he's really going to let them walk away and leave the FDF. Sam says it is what they want and they are free men. Massif says yea but it will weaken the team plus it means the FDF are losing their gold. Sam says the team is still strong and the young guys are only going to get better. They can always recruit if need be. Plus they are not losing all their gold. Massif says I guess then eases back into his chair as he and Sam have contemplating looks on their faces.
Security Squad over Better than Human via pinfall when Code Destroyer pinned PSI after an Eat Crow.
Before the match begins Overtime gets a mic and says "these are the guys that beat Mean Streets a couple cards ago?" He motions at them with his hand as he looks back at Code Destroyer who just shrugs his shoulders as Overtime then turns back shaking his head and laughs. "Patch, Skiv I hope you BOYS are watching cause we are going to show you how it is done".
Security Squad have little trouble. At first PSI kept fighting back but they started wearing him down, keeping him from tagging out. The end came when Destoyer went over and slapped a frustrated Tharkas. As the ref worked to keep Tharkas in his corner Destroyer grabbed his crowbar and ended the match. After Tharkas attacked him and then Mean Streets came running down. At first all three teams brawler but soon it was Security Squad and Mean Streets going at it. Better than Human just watched for a bit then decided it wasn't worth the trouble and left as security ran in to separate the two tag teams.
We come back from commercial and we get video of what happened at the break. As is common at events like these during a lull in the action people come out to keep the fans hyped up including one with a t-shirt cannon shooting souvenir shirts into the crowd.
As this is going on we hear "hey Murtak Maniacs, get up on your feet as your hero Murtak is in da hooooooooooouse". At that we see Murtak running out from the back wearing a microphone headset and pumping his fist in the air. The fan reaction is mixed with some cheering, some booing and most silently stunned as they are not sure what to make of it.
Murtak goes up to the guy with the cannon to borrow it. At first he seems reluctant but ends up giving it to Murtak. Murtak looks off to his left and fires a shirt far into the upper deck. He turns to his right and motions for noise. He than fires a shirt far into the crowd. "Hey, can't let all the nose bleeders have all the fun. I haven't forgot you Maniacs up close". With that he turns the cannon toward the fans ringside and before anyone can stop him he shoots out another shirt. It hits a fan square in the chest knocking him back into fans behind him causing many to fall over each other and onto the floor. As fans and staff rushed to help them and check on the guy that got hit Murtak looked around confused. He ran up to the guy he got the cannon from, forced it into his hands and took off running to the back.
We are told everyone is ok and the gentleman who got hit was giving some signed merch and vouchers for two free tickets for the next time GWF are there.
Elina over Moonlight via pinfall in a non title match.
The GWF Ladies Champion looked good in her first match back from her injury at the hands of Sinful. A short match that ended when Elina hit Resurrection. Did not see enough of newcomer Moonlight to judge her.
We see Wolf with Lope and Dark Menace behind them as they stand in their locker room. Dark Menace puts his hand on Wolf's shoulder and tries to talk him out of what he's about to do. Wolf just waves him off. Wolf then goes on to call out the Death Dealers. He challenges them to a title match at Battle Among The Stars. He says he and Lope want to show just how much better they are than the Dealers so they want to make it a Centra Coffin Match. He says all the Dealers need to do is accept the match and thus accept their fate. Wolf and Lope start howling as Dark Menace looks on looking very nervous.
Sur beat Totalis by DQ.
Totalis was on a roll and looked to be on his way to another win in this rematch from a couple cards ago but when he grabbed another of his belts and tried Title Quest for a second time the ref caught him and called for the bell. Totalis tried feigning ignorance to no avail.
A promo with a black screen that suddenly is blazing brightly like the sun. The light starts to fade in places and starts forming letters. When it is finished we see three letters shinning bright on the screen, S O L. Then the lit letters are gone leaving just a black screen again.
Sly Drury defeated M via DQ, M retains the GWF Universal Championship.
Much like the previous match the eventual loser was totally in control and seemed on his way to a victory. However M could not put Sly away and eventually Sly gained control. Sly hit his finisher and it seemed he might get the win. However as he went for the pin and the ref went to make the count M had enough in him to grab the ref and pull him on top of the wrestlers thus breaking the count. As everyone got untangled Sly pulled M up to his knees. The champion must have felt his title slipping away as he went and hit Sly with a low blow right in front of the ref who had no choice but to disqualify him.
As Sly crumples over in pain M regained his compusure. He took Sly to a turnbuckle and placed each of Sly's legs on the middle rope, one on each side of the turnbuckle. M then slapped Sly's face to get his attention. M took a step back and put his left arm out, his hand making the M hand sign. Then slowly his right hand went up to the bottom of his mask. As he casually started to pull his mask up with his right hand his left wrist started rotating. Soon the M became a W just as he removed the mask. M is really Witness! Sly just looked on with a stunned look across his face. All while Witness gave him a crazy smile.

Big win by Splatter X. I got a good laugh at the Murtak segment. Soon as I read the part about the nosebleed seats I burst into laughter. Reading the result was even funnier. Great reveal of M. Love the way it was done.

Love the way it was done. I really lucked out with the dice in Splatter X's match. Avoided a few DQs. I am having fun writing Murtak right now. He just works for me. A comedy guy who just tries to hard to be liked and get over. I still have one more trick up my sleeve for him that I think will be funny. Need to come up with something else after that but I am sure I will. The next thing just came to me at work. Glad you liked the reveal and there are more twists and turns to come. Thanks for reading and the feedback.

The M angle was executed to absolute perfection with plenty of hints being dropped regarding the character's true identity before the awesome reveal... But, not enough to actually figure out who it was... Very nice work!

Card #22 - Polaris Interstellar Stadium
As this is the last card before Battle Among The Stars we get a run down of the card as it is.
- Godsend vs. Monolith for Castilex Heavyweight Championship Monolith has been trying to get under Godsend's skin and it's payed off.
- Witness vs. Sly Drury for GWF Univereal Championship Witness disappeared and came back as the masked M. He's been playing mind games with Sly but now it's all on the line.
- Predators vs. Death Dealers for GWF Universal Tag Team Championship in a Centra Coffin Match This feud has been going on for awhile and the champs want to beat the Vampires at their own game to embarrass them.
- Elina vs. Sinful for GWF Ladies Championship in a First Blood Match Elina is out for revenge while Sinful looks to be the first female to hold both Ladies titles.
- Lady Godsend vs. Alpha Female for Castilex Ladies Championship Lady is looking forward to getting her hands on Alpha after the beat down she received at the Janus Star Center melee.
- Shayne vs. Demon Godsend for GWF Intergalactic Championship Demon has been ordered to bring gold to the Kingdom. Meanwhile Shayne looks to keep it with Martial Law.
- Dominion vs. Gladiators A blood feud that needs no titles, just pride.
- Totalis vs. Sur They are 1-1 against each other. Who wins the rubber match?
- Mean Streets vs. Security Squad Faction members go at it, finally. This one has been brewing for awhile now.
- Bex vs. Bishop Hell Bex may not be fully recovered but he don't care. He wants to get his hands on the Black Hearts member who put him on the shelf. This one could get ugly.
Demon Hunters beat Natives by pinfall when Helsin pinned Ygorr after Stake To The Heart to retain the Castilex Tag Team Championship.
In what is slowly becoming more commonplace Ygorr showed some spirit at the start of the match as he insisted he start for his team instead of Krud who usually starts for their team. Ygorr was a house on fire to start as he took it to Crossfire. After a couple pin attempts he tagged out. At first it looked like the champs would turn things around but maybe inspired by Ygorr Krud was able to get things back in his teams favor. We then saw something new as Ygorr came off the top turnbuckle. Not once but twice. He was successful both times. Things were going great for the Natives until they hit their finisher. As Ygorr went for a possible winning pin on Helsin, Crossfire ran in to make the save. Crossfire and Krud fought for a bit then as the ref tried to get Krud back to his corner Helsin dropped a leg on Ygorr and rolled his partner on top of the Native. That was not enough for the win but put Demon Hunters back on track and soon after they secured the victory. Tough loss for the Natives.
Faller defeated Captain Crossbones by pinfall.
The big man was just too much for the pirate. The first Timber didn't do it but the one right after the first did.
Promo for new signee Andromeda Assassin showing some highlights from his time in Wrestling Group X, Wrestling is Cosmic and FWA. His matches are hard hitting and often brutal. A couple clips show his opponents needing help leaving after the match. The announcers talk about how the CPC tried to sign him but the GWF got the job done.
Shann-Ra beat Catfight via pinfall.
This was a hard hitting match with a lot of brutal back and forth. It also saw a good deal of action out on the floor. In the end it seemed the experience of Shnn-Ra was the difference.
FDF Tradition over Super Powers by pinfall when Climber pinned Murtak after FDF hit Encirclement.
Pretty much a one sided affair as FDF kept Murtak on their side of the ring and he never got to tag out. After Disciple put his face in his hands, shook his head and just walked off.
Euritar beat Epoch via pinfall.
For some reason looked overmatched in this one and got in very little offense. Before long Euritar hit Heads Will Roll and the match was over.
A final video covering some of the matches for the PPV that showed clips of the participants recent interactions to emphasize how most of these matches will be personal.
