Battle Among The Stars ppv - The AC Arena
We are live from The AC Arena and the crowd is pumped. The opening video recaps the matches tonight and shows how we got to the top matches.
Totalis beat Sur via pinfall.
The opening match was solid as Totalis won the rubber match. Sur put up a decent fight but the multiple time champion was the better man and finished the Kingdom member with Final Round.
Lady Godsend defeated Alpha Female by pinfall to retain the Castilex Ladies Championship.
Lady was looking for revenge for Alpha injuring her. This was the most vicious and dominating Lady Godsend has looked. She was a house on fire as she overpowered the Aethran. The end came via a piledriver. Lady Godsend was not happy with just winning the match. After the bell she went and grabbed a chair, laid it on the canvas and gave Alpha Female another piledriver but on the chair this time. She stood tall, hoisting her title high, as she looked down on the laid out Gladiator.
Shayne beat Demon Godsend via pinfall to retain the GWF Intergalactic Championship.
The roll Lady Godsend started for the Kingdom did not carry over to this match. Shayne started by hitting a backbreaker on Demon and went for a quick pin attempt. He didn't get the pin but that set the pace as the champion simply dominated his opponent. It wasn't much longer before Shayne got the three count.
Bishop Hell over Bex by pinfall.
Bex came down with bandages on his forehead as he was not 100% from the Hellfire he received on that wild night at the Janus Star Center. As the match started Bex went full force at Bishop and was beating him down and tossing him around. Bishop Hell survived the initial onslaught and soon started turning things around to his favor. He hit Bex with Hellfire and went for a casual pin, smiling as he did so. However Bex wasn't going down that easy and kicked out. Bishop Hell put on some more offense then hit Hellfire again and this time got the pin. Bishop looked down at Bex who was clearly in pain and laughed before leaving.
As medical staff checked on Bex we see Splatter X slowly walking down the aisle. Splatter X got in the ring, pushed the staff to the side, stood Bex up and hit him in the forehead with a barbed wire wrapped forearm knocking him to the ground. A few stomps to Bex's gut and then Splatter X simply turned around and casually walked off to the back.
Sinful defeated Elina by making her bleed to win the GWF Ladies Championship in the First Blood Match.
Elina started fast as she looked to get some payback on Sinful. It did not last long as the Vampire turned things into her favor. Sinful started dominating the champ. She took Elina out of the ring and slammed her head into announcer's table a few times. Sinful rolled Elina back in the ring then looked under the ring and pulled out a table. After slidding the table in the ring Sinful set it up in a corner. Sinful succeeded with Life Blood. As Elina staggered in the ring trying to recover Sinful climbed a turnbuckle and nailed Resurrection into the back of Elina driving her face first into the table breaking it. As Elina slowly got to her feet the ref checked on her then he turned and called for the bell to end the match. As Elina stumbled and turned around we see her face is a crimson mask. The ref hands the belt to Sinful who puts it on her shoulder, walks up to Elina, smiles devilishly, places her hands on both sides of Elina's face and slowly licks up her cheek enjoying the blood. Sinful pushes Elina to the ground and walks off.
Mean Streets over Security Squad by pinfall when Patch pinned Code Destroyer after a Double Dispatch.
A hard hitting match between the two Martial Law teams. The Squad started working over Skiver and seemed to be on the verge of victory when Patch broke up a pin attempt, hit Overtime with a DDT and pulled his partner to their corner. Once Patch got in things swung in the Steeets favor. After a couple minutes of hot action Mean Streets hit their tag finisher and the match reached it's conclusion. As Patch and Skiver celebrated Overtime checked on Code Destroyer. Once Desteoyer got to his feet the Security Squad walked up to Mean Streets and got in there faces. It seemed the two teams would fight but Secuirty Squad just extended their hands for a shake and congratulated their faction partners. All four men celebrated and were all smiles as they left the ring to head to the back.
Gladiators beat Dominion via pinfall when Probation pinned Sentinel after No Surrender.
These teams hate each other and it showed. Whether in the ring or outside it this was more a fight than wrestling match. Both teams had their chances to win but the Gladiators came out on top. The bell did not stop the fight however. Both teams brawled all the way to the back as security unsuccessfully tried to separate them.
An announcement that the next card will be on Castilex. Demon Hunters and Turmoil will have to defend their Castilex Championships. Also Eydilon will be seeking payback as he faces Splatter X.
Death Dealers defeated Predators to become new GWF Universal Tag Team Champions in a Centra Coffin Match when Necros placed Lope in a coffin and closed the lid.
There are numerous coffins around the ring. Most on the floor but a few on wheeled carriers. The lights have been dimmed giving the whole thing an eerie feeling.
It did not take long for this match to spill to the outside. Lope suplexed Coven Black onto a coffin. Black was in obvious pain. Lope then tried to whip Black into another coffin but Black reversed it and sent Lope crashing into the coffin knocking it off it's base. The action went back into the ring for awhile leading to both men tagging out. Necros and Wolf did not take long to bring their fight to the floor.
Necros set up a table next to a coffin, placed Wolf on the table and powerbombs Wolf onto a coffin cracking the lid. After an unsuccessful attempt to place Wolf in a coffin Necros tags out. Coven Black pulls Wolf up on another coffin. They throw punches then Black nails Wolf with Diamond Eyes. Wolf is busted open and looks done. Coven Black goes to place Wolf in the coffin. He has Wolf in it but as he tries to shut the coffin Wolf finds a second breath and fights back.
Wolf looks like Wolf of old as he starts tearing into Coven Black. Numerous Savage Face Claws draw blood from Black. Wolf starts getting tired so tags Lope in. Lope takes Black to out of the ring. He comes close to putting Coven Black in a coffin but Black puts forth his best effort to keep that from happening. He bangs Lope's head a few times off a coffin. Coven Black tags out to Necros who flies over the top rope and takes Lope out. Necros works Lope over some more then hits Phantom Dust. Shortly after Necros places Lope in a coffin and closes the lid to finish the match and Predators run as tag champs. We see Dark Menace in the locker room in back shaking his head and then burying his face in his hands. He tried to talk his men out of this match and this is why. Back to the ring and Death Dealers are admiring their new titles.
Sly Drury over Witness by pinfall to become new GWF Universal Champion.
After entering the ring Sly pulled a mic out from his duster and told Witness the mind games are over. Now he has only his skill to fall back on and that won't be enough. Sly tells the champ to come down and lose.
Hard hitting match with Witness in control early. Sly fights back. He hits Regime Change but is surprised that Witness kicked out. Some more offense then a second Regime Change. Turns out that was enough as Sly got the three count and became new Universal Champion.
Monolith defeated Godsend w/Vallah by pinfall to win the Castilex Heavyweight Champion.
Monolith came down alone but the champion, Godsend, has Vallah in his cage floating after him. Early in the match Monolith hit I Break You a couple times. While it was not enough to finish Godsend off they did do damage. Godsend fought back and hit Kngdom Come. Monolith kicked out but obviously his world had been rocked. As Godsend kept on the offensive attack we see Vallah with eyes closed and chanting. Godsend seemed disoriented for awhile. That seemed to give the beast some time to recover. Soon Monolith hit a Decapitator and put on his own offensive show.
Monolith seemed to have finished the match when he hit Catastrophe but before he could cover for the three count Demon Godsend ran in and hits Cover of Darkness. It was obvious Demon was trying to make up for his bad loss earlier in the evening. However Monolith rolled to the floor to recover.
Soon Monolith gets back in the ring. He and Godsend slug it out. Godsend hits Blinded By Greatness which would seem to have been a good move by him. However the big man simply stumbled back, bounced off the ropes and hit another Decapitator that popped the crowd. An unsucessful pin attempt that was followed by a second Catastrophe and the match was over. Monolith was a champion once again. As Godsend laid on the mat recovering Monolith hit the turnbuckle and lifted his belt high.
After Monolith left the ring Godsend got up and was standing in the middle of the ring trying to figure out what happened when the lights went out. A deep voice was heard. "Darkness has fallen on the GWF." At this we see 4 flames explode in the ring, each about three feet high, in a square formation. "Yet where there is darkness light will arrive." The lights slowly return and we see Godsend in the ring in the middle of the square of flames. "Know this. The Soldiers Of Light are coming. Godsend's time is near an end. Fear not as the light will defeat the dark."

Card #23 - Godsend Amphitheater
Godsend is standing in the middle of the ring as the show starts. He is not happy. He talks about how Battle Among The Stars was a horrible night for the Kingdom but tonight things will start going in their favor. The Kingdom is the strongest faction ever and they will dominate the GWF. Then he turns his attention to the mysterious Soldiers Of Light. He demands they reveal themselves tonight. When they do they will be given a chance to compete and defeat the Kingdom inside the ring. However if they do not they will be banned from the GWF and have lost their war before it even began. He will be back later tonight to get his answer.
Highlights from Battle Among The Stars. Announcement that Andromeda Assassian makes his debut next card.
Demon Hunters defeated Dominion via pinfall when Helsin pinned Moog following a double jump moonsault to retain the Castilex Tag Team Championship.
The Hunters looked real good as they controlled most of the action. It seemed Helsin caught Moog off guard and got the pin. The Dominion were not happy and argued with the ref after the match.
We see Gosend pacing angerily in an elegantly decorated room as Lady Godsend and Demon Godsend sit in thrones watching him. Godsend says the Dominion failed him and he is getting tired of these failures. Lady Godsend speaks up and acknowledges his frustration but thinks they should focus on these Soldiers Of Light and what they might mean to the Kingdom. Godsend stops pacing and faces her. He says they are of no real concern. Just some nobodies trying to make a name for themselves. The Kingdom will crush them and then move on to bigger things. Demon Godsend now speaks and asks like fullfilling Godsend's promise to Vengeance. Godsend turns to Demon and says yes, among other things.
Moonlight over Shann-Ra by submission.
What should have been a match to pad Shann-Ra's record turned into an upset and biggest win in Moonlight's young career. It took five straight Mongolian Hordes but finally Shann-Ra could not get out of the hold and Moonlight got the win.
Turmoil beat Ygorr and Krud via pinfall in a Three Way Dance to retain the Castilex Hardcore Championship.
Even being outnumbered Turmoil seemed the favorite and it played out that way. At the start of the match the Natives attacked him and he tossed Krud out of the ring while he and Ygorr fought. To everyone's surprise Ygorr did not go down without a fight. He even got in some licks and made a pin attempt. The match's obvious outcome was only delayed by Krud getting back into the action but he did nothing to slow the Gladiator down. The end came as Turmoil and Ygorr fought out on the floor and into the crowd. Turmoil suplexed Ygorr into some ringside chairs and pinned him for the win.
Coming back from commercial we see Godsend angirly walking to the ring. He got in and demanded that the Soldiers Of Light reveal themselves now or be forever banished. At that the lights went out. Then just like at Battle Among The Stars four flames in a square formation light up but this time they are on the stage instead of the ring. We see the outline of four men inside of the square. Next the letters S O L in a blazing light appear on the jumbotron. The lights slowly come up and we see the four men are wearing robes with hoods concealing their faces as they have their heads bowed down. One man is standing with one man kneeling on one knee to his right and two doing the same to his left.
Godsend demands they show their faces. The man standing motions to the two men to his left. They stand up and pull back their hoods to reveal they are men we have seen tonight. They are the Demon Hunters, Helsin and Crossfire. Then the man motions to the other member kneling to his right. He stands and pulls his hood back. It is a familar face but one not seen in a long time, Bloodline. Finally the man who appears to be the group's leader pulls his hood back. A loud gasp spreads across the crowd as it is a face not seen in these parts for even longer than Bloodline's. The leader of the Soldiers Of Light is GWF legend, Lance At-Las.
Lance pulls out a microphone and starts talking. He says the Soldiers are here to put an end to the tyranny of Godsend and the Kingdom. They will battle them any time, any place. In fact he points out that The Three have not defended their titles for awhile. He says the Demon Hunters have already had a match tonight but they and Bloodline are willing to face The Three, as long as Godsend is not afraid to have them do so. Godsend said that is fine, no use putting off the destruction of the Soldiers. That match will happen and it is next.
Demon Hunters & Bloodline defeated The Three by submission when Bloodline made Ghena submit to the Cetus Masterlock to become new Castilex Three-Man Tag Team Champions.
Coming back from break the Demon Hunters and Bloodline were in the ring waiting for The Three. The champions came down and Bex had more bandages on his head than he did at the PPV.
Ghena and Bloodline started the match and things were going good for The Three early as Ghena and then Sur kept Bloodline from getting anything going. However once Bloodline was able to tag out things changed. Demon Hunters used frequent tags and teamwork to work Sur over. went for a pin but Bex made the save. After that The Three had Helsin in trouble and came close to winning a couple times. Helsin made a desperate lunge and tagged out to Bloodline. Unlike the beginning of the match Bloodline was an offensive machine. He was rocking Ghena hard and finally got him to tap to end the match. As the bell rang there was loud booming thunder heard coming from the cloudless sky.
Eydilon beat Splatter X via officials decision due to Splatter X passing out.
Both mean tore into each other is a rather short match. Eydilon kicked out of a couple early pin attempts then applied Mists of Eydilon. Splatter X refused to submit and eventually he faded and passed out from the move. The ref had no choice but to call for the bell to end the contest. Eydilon stood over his opponent just staring down at him with contempt.
Monolith defeated Godsend via pinfall to retain the Castilex Heavyweight Championship.
The beast hit the former champ with Crashing Stampede a couple times at the start to set the pace much like he did in their PPV match. Just like then Godsend did not go down early and fought back. However what was different this time is the Soldiers Of Light came out to the stage to watch the match. This ended up distracting Godsend and Monolith used that to his advantage hitting Catastrophe and getting the three count to successfully defend his title. Once again there was loud crackling thunder from the cloudless sky but this time it was accompanied by bright lightning flashes

TTX Pariah Thanks for reading. Yea as I said before I tried to keep to the cannon but my mind gets going and there goes the plan lol. As it is this is the closest I have been in decades going back to when I first started playing. But that is the fun of the game. You can follow the path laid out or branch off on your own.

Beyond The Mat
Code Destroyer was asked recently what is going on between the Security Squad and Mean Streets. He said they are like brothers. They fight and both want to show they are the best. Godsend tried to put a wedge between them but at the end of the day they have each others backs. That is why when Lady Godsend made them an offer they went straight to Sly and Mean Streets to tell them and come up with a plan. The two teams are always looking to one up each other and they may fight from time to time but they will always unite to fight those outside of Martial Law. Just call them Mean Squad.
Monolith unveiled a new catch phrase and t-shirt sporting it, "If you can't beat them...beat them".
Rumors going around that Murtak might be leaving The Conquerors.
