Excellent wins for Adrian Street and Pete Dunne in particular. A brilliantly brutal debut for the Bruiserweight.
Highly entertaining Playboy Buddy Rose segment on the previous show. I must agree he was indeed looking 'well defined', a fine figure of a man, a veritable adonis. I, for one, will be following with interest as he goes after ALL the titles. Can't wait to see him with the LOW Junior Heavyweight title adorning his 27 inch waist! As for Tony Atlas, I'm sorry to say he got what he deserved. As they say, don't throw rocks at a man who's got a machine gun. Or something.

Always enjoy it when the Bruiserweight and Street both win.

Thanks for the comments Bri, Kat Rana and Troy. That WOS show gave me the chance to debut a host of new stars from the recent UK set which was cool. WOS won't return for a while, I accidentally left it out of upcoming scheduling, but some of the stars may pop up in between that time. As for what is next it will be Extreme CHIKARA Wrestling and a very unhappy Eddie Gilbert will be addressing the situation involving Mike Quackenbush at King of Trios. Kat, thanks for the comment on the Buddy Rose segment. I had a blast putting that together and who knows maybe we will see him challenge for the LOW Junior Heavyweight title. After all he comes in at a slim and trim 217-pounds

Thoroughly enjoyed the latest installments of LOW All-Star Wrestling and World of Sport... The Exotic One continues to impress and that encounter between ZSJr and Travis Banks was very exciting...
Costa scoring a major upset over RVD was one of the biggest surprises in recent memory... And I really like how the match is being used to kickstart a program between The Sheik and the Whole F'n Show... This rivalry is sure to be extremely intense...
Although I haven't been posting as often lately, I'm doing my best to keep current on my favorite feds... And this one is always at the top of my list... Awesome stuff!

Thanks for the comments my friend. I'm sure you are also looking forward to AJ Styles vs. Bruiser Brody (or are you?) for the LOW World Heavyweight title. That is going to be one tough challenge for AJ. RVD losing to Bruiser Costa really bummed me out (it was a legit count out loss) but the attack by The Sheik helped advance an angle so it wound up being a good thing. Coming up next is ECW action and, like you Pariah, I haven't been able to roll out shows or post lately so sorry to all for the delays between shows. Next up after ECW will be Atlantic Coast Wrestling with a double main event - Blackjack Mulligan vs. Johnny Valentine and Magnum T.A. vs. Harley Race...

Hotstuff International Inc. presents Extreme CHIKARA Wrestling - Freedom Hall - Louisville, KY (Card #1213)
* A fired up “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert opened the show surrounded by several of his closest associates – Ox Baker, DJ Hyde, the T-D Machines (#1 & #2) and Larry Dallas. He demanded justice against “Lightning” Mike Quackenbush for impersonating T-D Machine #2 and getting himself pinned at IWA King of Trios thus eliminating Gilbert and the T-D Machines from the tournament. Dallas whispered something in Gilbert’s ear that set him off. He called Quackenbush a “coward” for refusing to sign a contract offered to him by Extreme CHIKARA Wrestling, a one-match contract sent to him by Dallas earlier in the week. Just as Gilbert was firing up to deliver more scathing remarks about Quackenbush he spotted someone milling about at ringside:
“What the hell is he doing back here? Did someone offer this goof a contract? Dallas! What do you mean no, then what the hell is he doing here? Security come and escort this bum out of here. Hey, Hobo, you don’t belong here you hear me? That’s right I’m talking to you. Put down that garbage bag, I own that garbage! Security get out here right now! Hey, you’re not security what the hell are you doing here. Who is this goof? (Larry Dallas whispers to Gilbert in response) Ricky Landell? Who the hell is he? From LOW All-Star Wrestling, oh this just keeps getting better. Hey Landell and you, you stinkin’ Hobo, get up here in this ring because you are going to get the beating of your lives at the hands of my T-D Machines!”
Gilbert said that these were the legit Machines as Ox Baker himself checked who was under the hoods before they headed to the ring. Before the match could get underway, Gilbert addressed the rest of the show and said that he has put together a great main event – Jigsaw vs. The Sandman - with the winner receiving a shot at the LOW World Heavyweight title. He said that he did not want to offer either “ingrate” that opportunity but said it will be great to see them have to beat each other up. He also praised Dallas for bringing in LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion The Mountie for a title defense against Arik Cannon and said that as a reward Dallas would get to manage The Mountie in that match. Finally, he said that Baker and a mystery partner will take on Chris Candido & Juan Francisco de Coronado in tag team action and that the mystery partner is a huge star that has signed with ECW and is the newest member of Hot Stuff International, Inc.
Quick Results:
1) T-D Machines defeated Ricky Landell & The Hobo (T-D Machine #1 pinned The Hobo – Back Suplex)
2) Blind Rage defeated “Limitless” Keith Lee (Submission – STF)
3) Joyce Grable & Simply Luscious defeated Nora Greenwald & Tina Moretti (Simply Luscious pinned Tina Moretti – Counter Cradle Hold)
4) Ox Baker & Sweet Brown Sugar (with “Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert) defeated Chris Candido & Juan Francisco de Coronado (Ox Baker pinned Juan Francisco de Coronado – Snake Eyes - Heart Punch)
5) F.I.S.T. (Icarus & Gran Akuma) defeated Alex Colon & Chri$ Ca$h (Icarus over Alex Colon by submission – Chikara Special)
6) LOW Tex-Arkana Television title: The Mountie© (with Larry Dallas) defeated “Anarchist” Arik Cannon to retain the title (Pinfall – Shock Stick)
7) Fatal Four Way Match: Devastation Corporation (Max Smashmaster & Blaster McMassive, with Sydney Bakabella) defeated Dez Peloton (Jasper Tippins & Donald Kluger), Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe & Luster the Legend) and R.M.O.H. (Silas Young & Beer City Bruiser) (Blaster McMassive pinned Adam Thornstowe – Sit-Out Choke Slam)
8) The Sandman defeated Jigsaw (Pinfall – Singapore Cane)
Match Highlights: The new mystery member of Hot Stuff International, Inc., and the huge star Gilbert said has signed with ECW, turned out to be the renamed Sweet Brown Sugar, the former Koko B. Ware who was last seen competing for World of Sport. Eddie Gilbert introduced Sugar and remained at ringside to watch him team with Ox Baker to take on Chris Candido & Juan Francisco de Coronado. Baker nailed Candido with the Heart Punch in the early going but Coronado saved his partner from being pinned. Candido eventually recovered and made the hot tag leading to a nice run of offense from Coronado. Sugar also shined during his time in hitting key moves like the brainbuster, top rope splash and his trademark Dropkick. The finish of a competitive battle saw Baker blast Coronado with the Heart Punch resulting in a snake eyes pin.
Gilbert ordered his men to unleash a post-match attack on Coronado and Candido which they happily did. Then slow motion walking to ringside was Darkness Crabtree, the masked geriatric superstar who Gilbert fired from ECW a while ago. Gilbert went to confront him but was decked with a big right hand. Crabtree then quickly ran up to the top rope and dove on to both Baker and Sugar in a shocking display of agility. Baker rolled to the outside while Sugar went to confront Crabtree only to be nailed with a dropkick sending him over the top rope. Crabtree then unmasked revealing none other than Mike Quackenbush drawing an irate response from a red-faced Gilbert who had to be held back by Baker. Quackenbush, flanked by Candido and Coronado, then produced a contract, the one-match contract, which he signed and informed Gilbert that it was never stated what kind of match it would be, so he had his lawyer amend it. The change in the contract meant that they would do it CHIKARA style in a trios elimination match with Quackenbush, Candido and Coronado facing Gilbert, Baker and Sugar on the next ECW card in Tulsa, OK (Card #1222). The crowd cheered that while Gilbert jumped up and down in frustration before being escorted to the back by Baker and Sugar.
Later, before the main event, Gilbert returned to watch Jigsaw and The Sandman battle it out with the winner receiving a LOW World Heavyweight title shot in Tulsa. Burned by the earlier situation with Quackenbush, Gilbert took great joy in booking this match as it forced two of his rivals to have to battle each other with such a big prize at stake. He also had security check Jigsaw to make sure that it wasn’t Quackenbush under the mask. Jigsaw reluctantly lifted his mask, only after calling for a towel to be held around his head, and security gave the call to Gilbert that it was not Quackenbush under the hood.
Once the match got underway, the two men engaged in a hard-fought battle putting aside their past alliance against Hot Stuff International, Inc. The Sandman unleashed a Singapore Cane shot early put Jigsaw kicked out at two. Jigsaw battled back hitting the jumping enzuigiri to set up the Jig N’ Tonic for a big near fall. The Sandman took the fight to the outside several times and took Jigsaw to the extreme. Jigsaw managed to survive, though, and even kicked out after taking the Hardcore DDT. It was a second Singapore Cane shot that ended it as The Sandman clocked Jigsaw with the weapon and scored the pin. Jigsaw got upset over the weapon usage and shoved The Sandman before the referee got in between them. The Sandman celebrated his huge win by downing a few beers and then grabbed the mic saying that he will be the next LOW World Heavyweight champion.
Gilbert, finding it hard to hold back his laughter, grabbed the mic at ringside and informed The Sandman that he had made a mistake. The LOW World Heavyweight title match in Tulsa had already been booked by Larry Dallas and the man getting the title shot would be the “Bad Dude” Tito Escondido! The Sandman was livid and jumped out after Gilbert, but he hid behind security before escaping to the back. The Sandman then returned to the ring where Jigsaw, still irate over the loss, picked up the Singapore Cane and blasted him with it! It was a rare show of violence by Jigsaw and it was the actions of Gilbert that set all of it into place. Gilbert later informed PWI Editor Bill Apter that unlike tonight where they were the main event, he is forcing Jigsaw and The Sandman to face each other in the opening match in Tulsa which will be a Fans Bring The Weapons Match!
The Mountie, with Larry Dallas in his corner, defeated the “Anarchist” Arik Cannon to retain the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title. This was a tale of two matches and unfortunately for Cannon the second-half went to The Mountie. Dallas, the right hand man of Eddie Gilbert in Hot Stuff International, Inc., was given a shot to manage the champion for one night as his usual manager in PCW, Sherri Martel, is busy on the road defending her Ring Angels championship. Cannon made Dallas nervous early as he took the fight to The Mountie. It was a Shock Stick attack that resulted in a near fall, with Cannon getting his foot over the bottom rope, that turned things around. After taking that blow it was all downhill for Cannon although he gamely fought back several times. A second dose of the Shock Stick put this one away as The Mountie scored the pin to retain the title. It was a successful version seven defense of the championship for the lawman from Canada.
In other action…
The very impressive Devastation Corporation (Max Smashmaster & Blaster McMassive), accompanied by their manager Sydney Bakabella, were the winners of a big Fatal Four Way Match over Dez Peloton (Jasper Tippins & Donald Kluger), Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe & Luster the Legend) and R.M.O.H. (Silas Young & Beer City Bruiser). This was a non-elimination Fatal Four Way Match meaning that the first team to score a fall or a submission would win it. It was held under tag team rules with four men in the ring battling it out with the option to tag out to their partners during the match. That made for some interesting strategy for when to tag in and out and made it more difficult to get the win with up to five men able to break it up. The climax of a sensational battle saw Thornstowe somehow kick out of the pin after taking The Death Blow from Devastation Corporation. He was out of it, however, and with action taking place in and out of the ring it was McMassive going for the kill as he nailed Thornstowe with the Sit-Out Choke Slam to score the pin. Bakabella was beaming during a post-match press conference and vowed to take Devastation Corporation all the way to the LOW World tag team titles.
F.I.S.T. (Icarus & Gran Akuma) continued their winning ways as they took on the interesting pairing of Alex Colon & Chri$ Ca$h. Both Colon and Ca$h have been riding high in recent weeks bragging about injuring Lash Leroux and Cedric Alexander, respectively. They weren’t doing too much bragging here, however, as F.I.S.T. used their tag team experience to set the pace. The finish of a mostly one-sided affair saw Alexander make a surprise return from injury chasing Ca$h around ringside as Icarus trapped Colon in the Chikara Special. With nowhere to go, and Ca$h having been run off, Colon was forced to concede giving F.I.S.T. the submission victory.
Ring Angels tag team action saw the popular pairing of Nora Greenwald & Tina Moretti take on Joyce Grable & Simply Luscious. The action was fast and furious throughout this match which saw both sides come close to victory. Greenwald hit her Flipping Seated Senton on both women for near falls and Moretti likewise hit her Jumping Facebuster on Luscious for a big near fall late. Grable and Luscious found themselves on the defensive quite often but it was a defensive situation that led to their victory. That came when Moretti went for a deathjump attack on Luscious but she moved out of the way. Moretti crashed into the mat and Luscious alertly rolled her into a Counter Cradle Hold to score the pin and send her and Grable to the pay window.
A controversial situation in the match between “Limitless” Keith Lee and Blind Rage resulted in a huge upset win for Rage. Coming in at a height and weight disadvantage, Blind Rage needed to come up with a solid game plan to overcome it. Lee dominated early hitting the standing belly to belly and Germansault Suplex. Rage came back with an outside ring attack nearly getting a count out win. The finish saw Blind Rage distract the referee as Blk Jeez snuck up to ringside and blasted Lee with a pair of brass knuckles. Lee collapsed to the mat and Blind Rage took advantage by trapping him in the STF. With Lee knocked out and unresponsive, the referee called for the bell giving Blind Rage a controversial submission victory. Backstage, Lee was irate and demanded a Handicap Match against both Blind Rage and Blk Jeez.
Ricky Landell & The Hobo of LOW All-Star Wrestling nearly pulled off a huge upset against the T-D Machines (#1 & #2) in the opening match. After being chastised by Eddie Gilbert, the two looked to counter attack against the T-D Machines and they had them on the ropes early and often. Landell, in fact, scored near falls on both Machines with the Fisherman’s Buster. The Hobo also picked up a near fall on T-D Machine #1 with the Street Preacher, a back suplex into a side slam. In the end it was T-D Machine #1 catching The Hobo with an elbow to the head followed up by a bridging Back Suplex for the pin giving the T-D Machines the victory.
Extreme CHIKARA Wrestling Top 10 Rankings:
1) Eddie Gilbert 2) Tito Escondido 3) The Sandman 4) Ox Baker 5) Jigsaw 6) DJ Hyde 7) Arik Cannon 8) Juan Francisco de Coronado 9) Blind Rage 10) Keith Lee

Reading your Eddie Gilbert & Mike Quackenbush storyline really brings back memories of the masked mystery man angle and you are doing a great job with it, gotta love it...

Mike Quackenbush showing up as Darkness Crabtree - now there's what we talked about! Quack is giving Eddie Gilbert fits. Ha ha. Of course Eddie takes it out on others as he screws Sandman out of a title shot and ends up turning Sandman and Jigsaw against each other. Hopefully those two can make amends. And I can't forget to mention Gilbert's interaction with the Hobo: "I own that garbage!" So much fun with this territory!

Hey cruefan68! Totally rockin ECW action my man. Lot's of great angles developing here for sure. I think "Hot Stuff" aiming Jigsaw and The Sandman against each other is totally brilliant, but very dangerous. Makes sense for Gilbert to split up that alliance but if they reform and retaliate - watch out! The Mountie continues to get it done version 7 style. Got The Clash in my head - "I Fought The Law And The...Law Won" If Eddie Gilbert is Hot Stuff - then Mike Quackenbush is Hotter Stuff. Absolutely love how he's making Gilbert disintegrate, pretty soon Gilbert will start to eat his own face. "I own that Garbage!" - classic!!
