I'm sure you are also looking forward to AJ Styles vs. Bruiser Brody (or are you?) for the LOW World Heavyweight title. That is going to be one tough challenge for AJ. Of course, I'm looking forward to AJ's upcoming title defense! Brody is definitely gonna be a tough challenge for the Phenomenal One, but I have faith that he will hold onto the belt... As many others have touched upon already, I'm really enjoying the rivalry between Quack and Hot Stuff (who continues to use eCw as his private playground)... And very pleased that The Mountie's run as LOW Tex-Arkana TV champ is still going strong... Fun times!

Thanks Troy, Crimson, Aceldamas, Bri and Pariah for your comments on the ECW card. I love writing the Eddie Gilbert stuff ("I own that garbage!") and could just see him ranting like that. Mike Quackenbush is obviously under his skin, and a mask, first as T-D Machine #2 and now as Darkness Crabtree. Credit to Aceldamas for using Quack as Crabtree which was his original idea. The Gilbert vs. Quack feud has become pretty legendary in my fed and I'm loving every minute of it. Thanks for coming along with me in the madness Pariah, you say you are looking forward to Styles vs. Brody but are you really? Just kidding, that should be a fun bout but that is a few shows off as up next is another show from Atlantic Coast Wrestling, I hope that you enjoy the action...

LOW Atlantic Coast Wrestling - Greensboro Coliseum - Greensboro, NC (Card #1214)
Quick Results:
1) Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill defeated The Mongols (Bepo & Geeto, with Rock Riddle) by DQ
2) Tyler Black defeated Larry Zbyszko (Pinfall – Phoenix Splash)
3) Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton, with Jim Cornette) defeated Sam Houston & Tracy Smothers (Dennis Condrey pinned Sam Houston – Midnight Massacre, a modified backbreaker and top rope elbow smash)
4) Ring Angels title: Leilani Kai defeated Sherri Martel to win the title (Pinfall – Butterfly Suplex)
5) “Wildfire” Tommy Rich defeated Missing Link (with Rock Riddle) (Submission – Wildfire Sleeper)
6) Bob & Brad Armstrong defeated Masked Superstar & Ivan Koloff (Brad Armstrong pinned Masked Superstar – Russian Leg Sweep)
7) Johnny Valentine defeated Blackjack Mulligan (Pinfall – Atomic Skullcrusher)
8) Magnum T.A. defeated Harley Race (Pinfall – Belly to Belly Suplex)
Match Highlights: The first-half of a double main event at the Greensboro Coliseum saw two of the hardest hitters in the business square off as Blackjack Mulligan took on Johnny Valentine. It was an epic display of resilience from both men as they took the best each other had and kept coming back for more. The battle raged both in and out of the ring and saw both men survive the others finishing move. Valentine impressively fought out of the Blackjack Claw at one point and came back leveling Mulligan with the Atomic Skullcrusher for a near fall. A short time later it was Valentine again delivering the Atomic Skullcrusher for consecutive near falls. Mulligan showed what he was made of there as he survived that and came back strong connecting with a lariat for a two count. He also took Valentine to the outside and nearly won it by count out after a back bodydrop over the ring barrier. Valentine recovered and, in the end, caught Mulligan with a big chop to the chest before delivering his fourth Atomic Skullcrusher of the match to score the pin. Mulligan drew support from the crowd in defeat and even a nod of respect from Valentine as he left the ring. Valentine may have won the battle on this night but there is no doubt a war could be coming between these two men based on this match.
The second-half of the double main event saw two former LOW World Heavyweight champions collide as the popular Magnum T.A. took on the man who many feel is the top star in ACW in Harley Race. After all it was Race, formerly of Kings Road United in Japan, that was the first man announced as having been signed by the company and it was also Race who headlined the first ACW card in Pensacola, FL (Card #1204) beating Bob Armstrong. That aside, Magnum is always ready for battle and that is what he brought to Race in a heated main event. It was a spectacular match that saw both men come close to attaining victory. The final few moments, though, saw perhaps a changing of the guard as Magnum stunned Race with a running forearm and covered him for a two count. Race, still reeling from that blow, slowly got back up to his feet and turned right into a Belly to Belly Suplex resulting in the pin. The crowd erupted in cheers as Magnum T.A. picked up a significant victory and let Race know that his spot at the top of ACW might not be so lonely.
History was made in Greensboro as Leilani Kai became the new Ring Angels champion earning a hard-fought championship victory over Sherri Martel. The battle of ring veterans saw Kai get off to a blistering start hammering away on Martel keeping her on the defensive. That included coming off the top rope with a flying bodypress for a two count. Martel began battling back into it and hit some hard clotheslines resulting in near falls. She also took the battle to the floor where Kai was nearly counted out after taking a bodyslam on the concrete. Martel continued to punish the challenger until Kai managed to counter a suplex into a Butterfly Suplex and float over to score the pin. Martel was shocked over losing the championship and threatened to strike the referee before Kai swung the belt at her chasing the now former champion out of the ring. The victory marked the first singles championship for Kai in LOW and ended what many felt could be a solid reign for Martel who had won the belt from Mildred Burke in a memorable battle at WrestleCade 12.
In other action…
“Bullet” Bob Armstrong and his son, Brad Armstrong, joined forces to take on the rugged pairing of the Masked Superstar and the “Russian Bear” Ivan Koloff. The popular Armstrong family out of Marietta, GA, had the full support of the crowd in this one and they made the most of it. The Superstar and Koloff provided a serious challenge, though, and dominated the match at several points. The turning point came late in the bout when “The Bullet” thwarted a double-team on the outside and sent the Superstar head-first into the ring post. A tag to Brad followed and he caught the Superstar with the Russian Leg Sweep for a big near fall with Koloff making the save. That led to Bob taking Koloff back to the outside while Brad, sensing the opportunity, caught a stunned Superstar with a second Russian Leg Sweep resulting in the pin. The crowd cheered the big win by the Armstrong family who no doubt could become an important part of the ACW tag team division.
The popular “Wildfire” Tommy Rich scored a controversial win over the Missing Link in a wild battle. The Link, accompanied by his manager Rock Riddle, dominated early and hit the Back Flying Head Butt which resulted in a two count. He also slammed a chair across the back of Rich which was waived off by the referee. Rich overcame that hitting a cross body block for a near fall after clotheslining Riddle off the ring apron on a failed distraction. Riddle got involved again when Rich had Link pinned following a right uppercut prompting Redd Dogg to run down to ringside. As Rich argued with the referee, Redd Dogg yanked Riddle off the ring apron and then decked the Link with a big forearm smash. Rich then turned right into Link and locked on the Wildfire Sleeper resulting in a submission victory. Redd Dogg celebrated with Rich at ringside as the Link shoved Riddle and then grabbed a chair repeatedly smashing his head into it. Redd Dogg had a ferocious battle with the Link on the ACW debut card and it looks like the simmering rivalry is about to explode after this incident.
The Midnight Express (“Loverboy” Dennis Condrey & “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton) defeated Sam Houston & Tracy Smothers in a highly competitive match. Manager Jim Cornette was in the corner of the six-time LOW World tag team champion Midnight Express and got into several verbal jousts with the ringsiders. The Express got the heat on Houston for a good stretch before he managed to tag out. Smothers, a popular native of Springfield, TN, helped turn things around and give Cornette reason to worry. Houston then hit the Bulldog on Condrey for what looked to be a sure pin, but Eaton broke it up. That led to the Express regaining the advantage and connecting with Midnight Massacre on Houston for the pin. Cornette was relieved with the win and afterward grabbed the mic vowing that his men will become seven-time LOW World tag team champions at the expense of “those cowards” the Rock n’ Roll Express drawing jeers from the crowd.
The dynamic Tyler Black out of Davenport, IA, the architect of The Shield in the IWA, took on veteran star Larry Zbyszko in a highly anticipated one-on-one bout. It was all Black early before Zbyszko countered a backdrop and then struck with his trademark Piledriver resulting in a two count. Zbyszko nearly put Black out with the Larryland Sleeper but it was broken up in the ropes. Black mounted a comeback after that, including hitting an F5, before Zbyszko regained control on the outside. The turning point came when Zbyszko missed with a deathjump attack and was caught in a cradle hold for a two count. Black then went up top himself and delivered the breathtaking Phoenix Splash on Zbyszko to score the pin.
Manager Rock Riddle has vowed to unleash The Mongols (Bepo & Geeto) on ACW and if the opening match was any example it will be rough for any team that faces them. The Mongols took on Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill of LOW All-Star Wrestling and, after a slow start, the two Mongolian warriors unleashed their full fury. It ended up with Doring and Roadkill winning the match by disqualification but there was no victory celebration. Bepo assaulted Doring with a chain while Geeto took out Roadkill. They then hit the Mongolian Drop on Roadkill before hanging Doring over the top rope with the chain prompting LOW officials to get involved.
ACW Top 10 Rankings:
1) Magnum T.A. 2) Harley Race 3) Johnny Valentine 4) Blackjack Mulligan 5) Tyler Black 6) Tommy Rich 7) Danny Hodge 8) Larry Zbyszko 9) Masked Superstar 10) Ivan Koloff

Looks like Cornette and his Midnight Express have their eyes firmly locked on regaining the tag belts from the Rn'R Express... Should be a great showdown when it happens...
Quite disappointed that Sensational Sherri's title reign was cut short by some lackluster officiating (at least that's how I'm choosing to see it)... Someone should check the credentials of that referee because there's no way Leilani Kai beat that count back into the ring...
Johnny Valentine and Magnum TA picked up impressive wins in an electrifying double main event... Keep your eyes on the rankings here in ACW because there's a lot of talent at the top of the card -- Expect to see one of these great competitors challenge for the LOW World Heavyweight title in the near future...
Another excellent show... Really looking forward to AJ's upcoming title defense against Brody... It's sure to be PHENOMENAL!

Hey cruefan68! Atlantic Coast Wrestling definitely delivers again my friend. Magnum T.A. definitely made a big statement here, not to mention Johnny Valentine. Was suprised to see Sensational Sherri loose the title to Kai, but then again Kai can go toe to toe with pretty much anybody. I agree with what Pariah said. From Tyler Black up on the top ten, its superstar loaded for sure. Coupled with the tag scene here, the ACW is extremely competitive. Just the way we like it! You're Voodoo Continue Crue.

Thanks for the comments Troy, Pariah, Crimson, Bri and AJ. Magnum over Race was awesome and a real shocker in terms of how I thought it might go. The ACW is quickly becoming a fun territory for me to run and I'm happy that I added it to my schedule. Sorry I haven't been posting much of late I have just been very busy and thus have had very little time to get those dice rolling. I did manage to finish up this next PCW show which I hope you enjoy. The main event finish is a controversial one which I'm sure will bring some debate. Read on. Next up after this will be the big card from MSG...
LOW Pacific Coast Wrestling - Seattle Center Arena - Seattle, WA (Card #1215)
Quick Results:
1) Sky Low Low defeated Swoggle (Pinfall – Running Splash)
2) Nikolai Volkoff & Boris Zhukov defeated Double-X (Mr. X & Mr. X II) (Nikolai Volkoff pinned Mr. X – Running Stomp)
3) “Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb defeated “The Wrench” Conor Claxton (with Jimmy Hart) (Pinfall – Tour of the Islands)
4) The Warlord & Rhino (with Jimmy Hart) defeated Tugboat & Chaz Taylor (The Warlord over Tugboat Taylor by submission – Full Nelson)
5) Flip Gordon defeated Sabu (with Jimmy Hart) (Pinfall – Snake Eyes - Counter Sunset Flip)
6) Dutch Savage, Jimmy Snuka, Angelo Mosca & Scott Casey defeated “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Cowboy Bob Orton, Don Muraco & Pampero Firpo by DQ
7) “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas & Pepper Gomez defeated Playboy Buddy Rose & Dr. Tom Prichard (with Sherri Martel) by DQ
8) LOW International Heavyweight title: “King of Men” Fred Blassie defeated Giant Baba© by TKO (TKO – Referee Blood Stoppage)
Match Highlights: LOW International Heavyweight champion Giant Baba returned to PCW to put his title on the line against the “King of Men” Fred Blassie, a two-time former LOW World Heavyweight champion. Baba worked the last PCW show in Portland, OR (Card #1205) surviving a tough title defense against Roddy Piper. Blassie was looking to win the belt for the first time and take out his frustration over being left off WrestleCade 12 weekend as well as the big Tokyo Dome card for Kings Road United which kicked off the new year in LOW. It was a bitter pill to swallow for the “King of Men” who has also talked of getting back into managing again and balancing that out with his in-ring career. He has yet to take on any clients in PCW but that was in the background here as he was focused on winning the championship. Early action saw some great exchanges between both men in and out of the ring. Blassie took control and repeatedly used his sharpened vampire-like teeth to bite the forehead of Baba which caused the champion to bleed. Baba battled back, though, and picked up near falls with the Russian Legsweep, a piledriver and a counter roll-up off a missed corner charge. Blassie showed great resilience there and continued a vicious attack including biting Baba some more increasing the blood flow.
A series of multiple knee drops and a controversial low blow led to a big near fall for Blassie late in the match. Baba was lucky to escape that and wound up busting Blassie open as well with a Baba Chop. Things picked up in intensity from there and Blassie delivered a head first run into the ring post and another biting attack. Baba was a bloody mess and that led to the referee calling for the bell awarding the victory to Blassie. The official decision was a TKO win for Blassie via blood stoppage by the referee although that meant that under LOW rules the title would remain with Baba since it was a blood stoppage and not an injury stoppage. Blassie was livid over the call by the referee and wound up tossing the official out of the ring which will likely result in a fine by LOW Commissioner Charlie Cox. Baba, who was successful in his version two defense of the title, needed assistance leaving the ringside area as Blassie looked on in disgust. Blassie cornered local reporters after the match vowing to take his argument to the LOW Commissioner directly that he and not Baba should be the LOW International Heavyweight champion.
Grudge tag team action saw “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas & Pepper Gomez take on Playboy Buddy Rose & Dr. Tom Prichard of Sherri Sports Agency, Inc. Sherri Martel, fresh off her loss of the Ring Angels title to Leilani Kai, was a surprise presence at ringside for Rose and Prichard and she was not happy. Martel angrily guided her men and that appeared to work as Rose and Prichard worked like a well-oiled tag team for most of the match. They got the heat on Atlas for a good stretch frustrating him especially coming after the sneak attack by Rose on the most recent edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling. Atlas finally made the hot tag to Gomez and the popular Mexican star took over battling both Rose and Prichard. Martel screamed for her men to rally but Gomez was in top form looking to put this one away. He eventually caught Prichard with the Mexican Cradle, but Rose broke up the pin attempt setting off a wild melee. Atlas was knocked out of the ring and choked with a pair of pantyhose by Martel as her men launched an excessive double-team attack on Gomez resulting in a disqualification decision. Atlas and Gomez got the win but were left laying by SSA, Inc. drawing jeers from the crowd. When Atlas recovered at ringside, he grabbed the mic and vowed that he was going to come full force after SSA, Inc., especially Rose and Martel, and that his end game will be revenge on “that thief” The Mountie who “stole” the LOW Tex-Arkana Television title from him. Atlas and Rose have been signed to face each other in a singles match on the next PCW card at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA (Card #1225).
In other action…
A wild eight-man tag team match saw Dutch Savage, Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, Angelo “King Kong” Mosca and “Cowboy” Scott Casey take on “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, “The Ace” Cowboy Bob Orton, First Family member “The Magnificent” Don Muraco and the “Wild Bull of the Pampas” Pampero Firpo. Piper was bounced around like a pinball by his rivals Savage and Snuka in the early going, including Savage hitting the Running Piledriver for a big near fall. Orton, the bodyguard of Piper, tagged in and wound up scoring a near fall for his team with a press slam backbreaker on Snuka. Mosca and Firpo, two newcomers to PCW, both had impressive offensive showings in the match as did Muraco. The finish came unfortunately on a disqualification when Orton delivered the Smash with Cast on Casey in full view of the referee. Casey was down but his partners came to his rescue post-match fighting off Piper, Orton, Muraco and Firpo to cheers from the crowd.
Coming off his big victory in the Rey de Voladores tournament at IWA King of Trios weekend, Sabu faced Flip Gordon in a rematch from the last PCW card. With his manager Jimmy Hart at ringside, Sabu looked to establish himself as the “king of flyers” against the young Gordon who has shown great aerial ability in his appearances thus far in both PCW and Extreme CHIKARA Wrestling. Gordon got off to a good start until Sabu took over after a battle on the outside of the ring. Sabu hit the controversial chair-assisted Arabian Facebuster and locked on the Camel Clutch but Gordon was able to slip out of it. Gordon battled back hitting the Spring Blade and superkick before Sabu again took over on the outside. Things were looking good for Sabu until he went for a back bodydrop off the ropes leading to Gordon hitting a Counter Sunset Flip resulting in a snake eyes pin. It was a huge win for Gordon but Sabu took it out on him post-match with an assist from his stablemate “The Wrench” Conor Claxton. The two-on-one beatdown ended when Jeff Cobb arrived and cleaned house sending the First Family members out of the ring. Cobb helped Gordon up to his feet and Flip took a verbal shot at Sabu saying that the only reason he won Rey de Voladores is because he wasn’t in it. That sent Sabu into a rage but Claxton held him back under orders from Hart. As a result, Cobb & Gordon are now scheduled to face Sabu & Claxton in tag team action on the next PCW card in San Francisco.
One of the most feared teams around, The Warlord & Rhino, took on the popular father-and-son duo of Tugboat & Chaz Taylor. The First Family members, who had manager Jimmy Hart in their corner, looked bound and determined to send a message here and they did. This one was over quickly as The Warlord blasted Tugboat with a clothesline off the ropes and then locked on the Full Nelson. The 325-pound Tugboat, who is strong himself, tried in vain to escape the punishing hold. Chaz ran in to try and break it up but was quickly blasted with a Gore from Rhino. Tugboat sank to his knees and conceded the match as The Warlord cinched the hold on. Hart ran into the ring afterward jumping into the arms of the massive Warlord while Rhino gestured around his waist indicating that they want the LOW World tag team titles.
The official in-ring debut in PCW for the highly touted “Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb saw him face some stiff competition from “The Wrench” Conor Claxton, a member of the First Family managed by the “Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart. Claxton gave away plenty of size but made up for it with aggression and had Cobb in trouble at several points, including scoring a submission chance with a cross Armbreaker. Cobb weathered the storm, and a timely distraction by Hart, before making a powerful comeback and crushing Claxton with Tour of the Islands for the pin.
The rugged Russian duo of Nikolai Volkoff & Boris Zhukov easily handled Double-X (Mr. X & Mr. X II) who were appearing courtesy of LOW All-Star Wrestling. As Zhukov took out Mr. X II at ringside, Volkoff pummeled Mr. X and quickly pinned him after a Running Stomp. Volkoff angrily grabbed the mic afterward and demanded “better competition” such as the Midnight Rockers (Stan Lane & Marty Jannetty) or the Texas Hangmen (Killer & Psycho) in PCW.
The mighty midget stars entertained the crowd in the opening match as newcomer Swoggle took on the veteran star Sky Low Low. Their first meeting at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #1185) saw Sky Low Low victorious so Swoggle was hoping to even the score here. Sky dominated most of the early action including picking up near falls with his trademark Dropkick. A second rope deathjump (ch) attempt by Sky backfired with Swoggle picking him off. Swoggle would then go up top and hit the Tadpole Splash but somehow Sky kicked out before the three count. In the end it was Sky getting the win when he delivered a Running Splash for the pin.
PCW Top 10 Rankings:
1) Fred Blassie 2) Jimmy Snuka 3) Roddy Piper 4) Don Muraco 5) Sabu 6) Pepper Gomez 7) Dutch Savage 8) Tony Atlas 9) Flip Gordon 10) Jeff Cobb

Awesome edition of PCW cruefan68! My man Sky Low Low getting it done at the front of the card and Giant Baba retains the LOW International Title at the end of a great night of wrestling. I swear, everytime I read this juggernaut of a fed I feel as though I am reading Pro Wrestling Illustrated just like I did back in the day. Freddie Blassie fights teeth and nail but just isn't tough enough to get it done and Giant Baba with resiliency off the charts, risks hemorrhaging but is just too tough to concede!! That was a 6 star match! Hope Baba holds onto that title for a record setting reign. Bring on MSG! To much is never enough my friend. And no worries about posting amigo. We will be in the seats.
