The King of Trios event is a inspiration from both cruefan68's LOW to the real worlds Chikara and I'll be running a version called TOURNAMENT OF TRIOS in my *IFC with the GFP game. I have to say Crue continues to deliver with his LOW from top to bottom... My pick failed, but then Pariah's certain trio failed too and they'll fail to The Cleaner & The Bucks when they meet, but that was a fun King of Trios. The Briscoe Brothers continue on is cool stuff, but I like the victory by Jay Lethal... Thanks for the comments my friend and for pointing out the wins by the Briscoes and Jay Lethal. I though for sure Dem Boys were in trouble but they managed to topple two tough teams there. I was hoping for Austin Aries to get the win (the dice truly hate him in my fed!) but give credit to Lethal. I have a plan for Aries so let's see if he can overcome the tough loss. It looks like you and Pariah are on opposite sides of Undisputed Era vs. Bullet Club - let the war begin I have a gut feeling Pariah knows that the Bullet Club is a real faction and he truly is rooting for them Bay-Bay... LOL Outrageous final night to Kings of Trios cruefan68! I have to echo Pariah, Crimson Cross & TTX 's comments on all. I also have to think Mascaras vs Mack might be headed our way. Just great action top to bottom. Sounds like Danielson really had his hands full with Savage, he deserves to be champ defending against The Macho Man. The Bullet Club vs The Undisputed Era sounds like World War III in the making. What a weekend of action! Mil Mascaras vs. Mack would be cool stuff...

LOW All-Star Wrestling (Episode 80) - WMC-TV5 Studios - Memphis, TN (Card #1211)
Announcers: Lance Russell & Dave Brown
Newswire: IWA Commissioner David Marquez called in to the studio at the show open to talk with announcers Lance Russell & Dave Brown about the recently completed King of Trios weekend. Marquez thanked them along with the fans for helping make the event a success and said that the Big Mack Attack of The Mack, Moose & Dante Fox from Lucha Underground impressed everyone by beating the Legends of the Mask – Mil Mascaras, The Destroyer & Tiger Mask – in a thrilling final round battle. Russell agreed and added that with the specter of Catrina watching over things it was a big deal for the Big Mack Attack to get out of there with those medals. Marquez responded that whatever their motivation was they accomplished something special in beating some tremendous opposition over the course of the weekend. Brown said that The Mack also defeated Mil Mascaras, the record seven-time LOW World Heavyweight champion, to win it and that is easily the biggest win of his LOW Career. Marquez said it undoubtedly is and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Mack and his teammates in Lucha Underground.
They also discussed the actions of Bullet Club Elite members “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) who caused the Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) to be eliminated from the tournament. Marquez denounced the actions of Omega and the Bucks who were not invited guests and he said that after their interference they escaped through a side door and headed straight to the airport to return to Japan. Russell asked if Undisputed Era had made any statement regarding the situation and Marquez answered that they had, and it is probably no secret that they want a match with the Bullet Club Elite members. He added that with them being in Kings Road United in Japan it makes matchmaking difficult but that he is planning on contacting KRU officials to try and put something together. Russell thanked Marquez for calling in and asked Brown to introduce the official lineup of action on the broadcast.
Talking Points:
* LOW World Heavyweight champion “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles: PWI Editor Bill Apter caught up with AJ Styles, the LOW World Heavyweight champion, just hours after a grueling title defense against “Ravishing” Rick Rude recently in Boston, MA (Card #1206). Apter congratulated Styles on his disqualification victory and successful title defense but he was not satisfied. Styles said that he came into the match knowing that he was facing the cornerstone of the New Age Horsemen and that he wanted to prove why he is the world champion. He gave Rude credit for bringing the fight to him but said that it was unfortunate that he felt the need to use a chair resulting in the technical decision. Apter asked if he was concerned about the impact that the Horsemen could have in the CWA, and LOW in general, and Styles said of course but that as champion he needed to focus on all challengers. Considering that, Apter asked him about his upcoming title defense against none other than Bruiser Brody at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #1216). Styles said that there could be no tougher challenger to face than Bruiser Brody and that he has been preparing for the confrontation. As video of Brody played showing him demolishing opponents and wielding an axe to chop wood presumably in Albuquerque, NM, Styles said that he will bring his “A” game to MSG and will do whatever it takes to retain his title. Apter thanked Styles for his time and wished him the best in continuing his reign as the LOW World Heavyweight champion.
* Playboy Buddy Rose: PCW and Sherri Sports Agency, Inc. star Playboy Buddy Rose was in studio where he was interviewed by Lance Russell. Rose immediately commented on the “unwashed” studio audience members which drew an angry retort from Russell who said not to insult the fans in that manner. Rose apologized but then insulted their intelligence drawing an “Oh boy” from Russell. They finally got down to business with Russell asking Rose how things are going for SSA, Inc. now that Sherri Martel is the Ring Angels champion and The Mountie continues his reign as the LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion. Rose said that things couldn’t be better and with his girlfriend Sherri holding championship gold it is now time for him to have some gold around his “slim and trim” waist. Russell looked on in disbelief as Rose bragged about his “well defined” body and said that a man of his stature deserves to be a champion. Russell asked him about which championship he planned to go after and Rose said, “all of them”, including the LOW Junior Heavyweight title as he weighs in at a “slim and trim 217-pounds” drawing another look of disbelief from Russell.
As Rose was doing his bragging, he was suddenly surprised by the appearance of fellow PCW star “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas who walked into the studio drawing cheers from the crowd. Atlas walked straight up to Rose and flexed his muscles while calling the “Playboy” the “Doughboy”. Rose was livid and demanded that Atlas be taken out of the studio by security. Atlas turned to ask the crowd what they thought of the body comparison when Rose jumped him from behind and ran him head first into the ring post before running out of the studio. Russell helped up an obviously hurt Atlas who angrily grabbed the mic and said that the “Doughboy” was going to pay for his actions just like all SSA, Inc. for injuring him last year. He concluded by wiping some blood from his forehead and staring into the camera stating that when all is said and done he will go through every member of SSA, Inc. including Rose, until he gets to The Mountie and takes back his LOW Tex-Arkana Television title.
Quick Results:
1) Bruiser Costa defeated Rob Van Dam by Count Out
2) The Mongols (Bepo & Geeto, with Rock Riddle) defeated Backseat Boys (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere) (Geeto Mongol pinned Trent Acid – Mongolian Drop)
3) “Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb defeated Frank Dalton (Pinfall – Tour of the Islands)
4) Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg Valentine, with Abdullah Farouk) defeated Lanny Poffo & Jake Milliman (Brutus Beefcake over Jake Milliman by submission – Sleeper Hold)
5) Don Leo Jonathan defeated Wild Bill White (Pinfall – Mormon Swing)
6) “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe, “Unpredictable” Johnny Rodz & “Duke of Dorchester” Pete Doherty defeated S.D. Jones, Jim Powers & George South (Johnny Rodz pinned S.D. Jones – Rope Choke and Neck Snap)
Match Highlights: A huge upset occurred in the opening contest on the show as Bruiser Costa scored a count out victory over CWA star Rob Van Dam. It was not without controversy, however, as Costa tossed Van Dam out of the ring where he was assaulted by none other than The Sheik. Wearing an expensive suit, The Sheik looked hardly prepared for battle as he tore into RVD gouging away at his forehead with what looked to be a screwdriver. The referee chose to issue a count out win for Costa which caused some controversy on commentary as The Sheik continued his assault. Manager Abdullah Farouk made his way to the announce table stating that RVD wanted The Sheik and now he got him. LOW officials ran down and managed to get The Sheik out of the studio as paramedics attended to a bloody and dazed RVD. Farouk laughed about the attack when questioned by Lance Russell and said that RVD could get another dose of that as The Sheik has an open contract for a match at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY (Card #1216). It was later confirmed that the match between RVD and The Sheik will indeed take place at MSG.
Farouk returned to ringside later as he managed his new clients in the CWA, the Dream Team (Brutus Beefcake & Greg “The Hammer” Valentine), in their match against “Leaping” Lanny Poffo and Jake “The Milkman” Milliman. Poffo had some success but Milliman found himself on the end of a tough beating from both Beefcake and Valentine. Farouk looked on pleased as his men dismantled Milliman before Beefcake locked on the Sleeper Hold resulting in a submission victory. It was a solid debut for the Dream Team under their new manager and it was a great day for Farouk who saw The Sheik and the Dream Team make quite an impression.
In other action…
The Mongols (Bepo & Geeto), accompanied by their manager Rock Riddle, took on the Backseat Boys (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere). Having joined the fledgling Atlantic Coast Wrestling, The Mongols looked to impress as they used their size and power to dominate the action. Riddle looked on pleased as they got the heat on Acid for an extended stretch. Kashmere never properly tagged in as The Mongols finished off Acid with the devastating Mongolian Drop. Riddle stopped by the announce table briefly afterward and said that his men will dominate all the competition in ACW.
Pacific Coast Wrestling newcomer “Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb came out looking strong in his match against veteran journeyman Frank Dalton. The powerful Cobb out of Honolulu, HI, started out strong before Dalton took over including using the Atomic Drop on him. Cobb bounced back strong, though, and nailed Dalton with Tour of the Islands to score the pin. Dave Brown observed that Cobb looked somewhat familiar but couldn’t quite put his finger on it as the show went to commercial break.
Golden Age Wrestling star Don Leo Jonathan was featured in a match against the tough Wild Bill White. The “Mormon Giant” looked strong in this one although White did have his moments. Jonathan wrapped it up with a swinging full nelson before executing his trademark Mormon Swing to score the pin.
A highly entertaining trios match closed the broadcast as, with expiration of time remaining, it was S.D. “Special Delivery” Jones, Jim Powers & George South taking on “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe, “Unpredictable” Johnny Rodz & “Duke of Dorchester” Pete Doherty. Jones and his partners had the full support of the studio audience but unfortunately for them they came up short in the end. After scoring a big near fall with the Piledriver on Jones, Sharpe tagged in Rodz who scored the pin after a Rope Choke and Neck Snap. “The Duke”, who used his top rope splash to great effect on Powers earlier, looked very pleased as he made a rare trip to the pay window because of this victory.
LOW All-Star Wrestling Top 10 Rankings:
1) Larry Sharpe 2) Jim Powers 3) S.D. Jones 4) Lanny Poffo 5) Bruiser Costa 6) Timber 7) Johnny Rodz 8) Ricky Landell 9) Pete Doherty 10) George South

LOW All Star Wrestling was a true belly full of action and intrigue for sure dude! Always great to see DLJ get the victory. When I first read that Bruiser Costa defeated Rob Van Dam I just couldn't believe it. Had to re-read that sucker lol. That upcoming confrontation between The Sheik and RVD has got wild written all over it. Playboy Buddy Rose was awesome, him prognosticating about going for The Junior Heavyweight Title is classic! The upcoming MSG card is sure to be it's usual stellar event, now also with A.J. defending The World Title against Bruiser Brody! Thats going to be a real test for Styles, but I'm predicting that he retains after a total war. Also, how about Johnny Rodz! The Unpredictable All Star gets it done. Dyno mite cruefan68!

Sure they were against fellow jobbers but Sharpe/Doherty/Rodz winning really makes me smile. Costa winning is also great. Fun as always.

I really would love to see The Mongols crush it in the ACW and win tag gold and make the words from Rock Riddle come true, plus RVD on the losing end to Costa is amazing stuff...

The King of Trios shows were very good this year. The Big Mack Attack representing Lucha Underground were quite the surprise as the winners, coming out on top over my pick, Legends of the Mask. Even though I was in on the idea of Mike Quackenbush being under a hood, you even swerved me by having him appear in the guise of one of the TD Machines. Nice. And that Lance Russell segment on ASW with Playboy Buddy Rose and Tony Atlas was classic. Having watched Buddy every week for years here in the Northwest, I could totally see his interaction with Lance playing out in my mind's eye as well as him posting Atlas. Very nostalgic.

The All Star main event had me salivating! All my favourites in one match, and I must say I am pleased to Sharpe, Rodz and 'The Duke' get a slice of the winner's pie for a change! Also fab seeing Costa chalk one up against RVD and witnessing the dream team- no not that one, but the 'real' dream of Jake Milliman and the the 'Sir of Supple' Lanny Poffo!
Yowzas!

Thanks very much for the comments Bri, Troy, Crimson, Aceldamas and Joebreakdown. The ASW shows are always fun to do and Costa over RVD, the Atlas-Rose confrontation (Aceldamas, imagine how much fun Rose would have been interacting with Lance Russell) and of course the all-enhancement talent main event were highlights for me as well. Joebreakdown, not only did you get the main event of your dreams but "The Duke" was on the winning team Aceldamas, you definitely inspired me to go forward with that angle and while it may have ended up with a different twist on it the idea was the same. That result really kicked it into gear. Big Mack Attack were definitely a surprise King of Trios winner for me but that is part of the fun of rolling the dice. Coming up next is action from World of Sport...

7) (Eight 3:00 Rounds) One Man Gang (USA), “Belfast Bruiser” Finlay (Ireland) & Tommy End (Netherlands) defeated King Kong Bundy (USA), Dan “The Beast” Severn (USA) & Martin Stone (UK) (Disqualification – Round 6)
8) (One 60:00 Round) LOW Junior Heavyweight title: “The Villain” Marty Scurll© (UK) defeated Johnny Saint (UK) (1-0) to retain the title (Marty Scurll pinned Johnny Saint – Rebound Lariat)
Match Highlights: The popular Johnny Saint out of Failsworth, Greater Manchester, England, attempted to become a three-time LOW Junior Heavyweight champion as he took on “The Villain” Marty Scurll of Cambridge in a heated main event. It was Scurll that persuaded Zack Sabre Jr. to leave his mentor, Saint, and cross over to the “Villain” side to form LDRS. That alliance propelled Scurll to winning the LOW Junior Heavyweight championship from Paul Pope in Tokyo, Japan (Card #1194) and has made “The Villain” a top attraction in LOW. This was his attempted version one defense of the championship and it was in a one round sixty-minute time limit match as under LOW rules the rounds system does not apply to championship matches held in World of Sport. Saint was at his technical best early surprising Scurll with moves like high cross bod block, armlock around knee and the double arm stretch and cradle hold. He also surprised Scurll with some deathjump attempts as well.
Scurll countered with some nice offense of his own including locking on both the Crossface Chickenwing and the Cattle Mutilation for submission chances. Saint impressively survived and escaped from both holds before scoring near falls with a cutblock and folding press and a cobra clutch suplex (ch) hold. A critical mistake for Saint came when he attempted another deathjump but Scurll picked him off with a bodyslam and locked on the Crossface Chickenwing for another submission chance. The finish of a great bout saw Scurll stun Saint with the jackknife power bomb before connecting with a rebound lariat to score the pin. The crowd jeered the decision as Sabre Jr. rushed the ring to help “The Villain” celebrate his successful version one defense of the championship. LDRS attempted to surround Saint post-match but he was saved by former LOW Tex-Arkana Television champion Roderick Strong who was on hand for stand-by action. Scurll and Sabre Jr. made a quick exit as Strong gestured around his waist indicating that he may possibly be an upcoming challenger for the LOW Junior Heavyweight championship.
In other action…
The trios match that saw King Kong Bundy, Dan “The Beast” Severn & Martin Stone take on the One Man Gang, “Belfast Bruiser” Finlay & Tommy End ended in a wild battle. The two sides fought for five solid rounds, about fifteen minutes of action, before all hell broke loose in the sixth round. The 495-pound OMG, known for his fierce rivalry with his equally massive counterpart Bundy, took some liberties against Stone while taunting both his teammates and the crowd. Finlay and End then rushed over and knocked Bundy and Severn off the ring apron resulting in a battle outside. OMG followed suit by tossing Stone to the floor and attempting to continue his attack. Stone, however, recovered and surprised OMG with a jumping cutter. As OMG staggered back into the ring, Stone grabbed the chain brought to the ring by the massive star and used it on him busting him wide open. The referee immediately called for the bell giving OMG, Finlay and End the win by disqualification. Stone continued his attack until Finlay and End were able to pull OMG out of the ring to safety. Bundy and Severn corralled Stone who was glaring at the bloody OMG. The crowd cheered the actions of Stone but there is no doubt that the One Man Gang will be looking for some payback against Stone in the future.
Exotic Adrian Street, accompanied by his valet Miss Linda, scored a most impressive two to nil victory over another talented veteran in David Taylor. The match went just two rounds, lasting about four minutes total. Taylor got off to an aggressive start in the first round but a counter by Street led to him locking on a Cobra Clutch for a submission victory. Street went back to the punish hold early in the second round with Taylor impressively battling out of it. Taylor was the worse for wear, though, and Street surprised him with the Crucifix to score the pin. A frustrated Taylor argued over the three count with the referee, but the decision stood. After shaking hands with Street, Taylor angrily walked back to the locker room. Street, on the other hand, called for Miss Linda to comb his hair as he pranced by the ring ropes and blew kisses to the crowd. It was a typical display for the “Exotic One” who continues to hold on to his top spot in the World of Sport rankings.
“The Kiwi Buzzsaw” Travis Banks out of Auckland, New Zealand, took on Zack Sabre Jr. of Kent in International competition. Sabre Jr. has recently had a change of attitude due to his association with “The Villain” Marty Scurll and found himself jeered by the crowd in favor of Banks. This was an excellent bout that went five rounds with both men exchanging some terrific offensive. Banks survived Orienteering with Napalm Death, due to a rope break, and the Young Boy Killer frustrating Sabre Jr. He also trapped Sabre Jr. in the Lion’s Clutch, an arm trap crossface hold, for a submission chance of his own. With no score going into the fifth round it was Sabre Jr. nailing Banks with a brutal Penalty Kick that nearly knocked him out. Banks rolled out of the ring because of the blow and the arrogant Sabre Jr. called for the referee to count him out which is what happened. Sabre Jr. picked up a one to nil victory, but Banks really impressed in his debut for WOS.
The “Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne out of Birmingham took on Malvern native “Evil Jesus” Mark Haskins in a brutal, hard-hitting bout. The official WOS debut for both men saw Haskins dominant in the first two rounds before Dunne kicked it into gear. Dunne scored first in round four when he trapped Haskins in a Triangle Choke resulting in a submission win. An X-Plex on the ring apron nearly put Haskins down in round five but he recovered and staged a nice comeback. The final round ended with Haskins nearly evening it up when he hit Made in England, a pumphandle sitout driver, right before the bell but Dunne kicked out at two. After six rounds of action it was Dunne being awarded the victory due to the one to nil score.
The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) performed a demolition job on their opponents the Heartbreak Express (Fabulous Phil Davis & Superstar Sean Davis) who were appearing courtesy of LOW All-Star Wrestling. Miller jumped Phil at the bell and quickly hit a Backbreaker and pinned him in the opening seconds of the first round. The Fabulous one barely had time to recover as The Sheepherders worked him over in the second round with Miller pinning him again, this time after the tandem Double Gutbuster resulting in a two to nil victory for the New Zealand ruffians. Superstar Sean never got tagged in and perhaps that was for the best on this night.
A highly anticipated matchup of two new WOS stars turned into a disappointment. The popular Mark Andrews out of Cardiff, Wales, won it on a disqualification over Flash Morgan Webster in the opening round. Mere moments into the round, Andrews surprised Webster with a huracanrana for a near fall before the action went out to the floor. Webster lost his cool and ran Andrews head first into the ring post resulting in the disqualification decision drawing jeers from the fans. Andrews won it one to nil but was hardly satisfied as Webster took the easy way out. It was later learned that the two will have a rematch under World of Sport rules on the next edition of LOW All-Star Wrestling (Card #1221).
Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) opened the show with an impressive two to nil victory over the Classic Connection (Levi Shapiro & Buddy Royal). It was the WOS debut for both Seven and Bate, although Bate did compete against Pete Dunne at the Tokyo Dome in his first officially contracted match with LOW. The Classic Connection did a nice job controlling the early rounds but by the fourth round it was all Moustache Mountain. Seven blasted Royal with a spinning backfist, which he calls Seven Bells, for the pin. The fifth round saw Royal on the defensive again and, after the tandem Stiff Upper Lip by Moustache Mountain, Bate connected with his trademark Bop N’ Bang to score the deciding fall.
World of Sport Top 10 Rankings:
1) Exotic Adrian Street (UK) 2) Roderick Strong (USA) 3) Johnny Saint (UK) 4) King Kong Bundy (USA) 5) Dan Severn (USA) 6) Tommy End (Netherlands) 7) One Man Gang (USA) 8) Martin Stone (UK) 9) Finlay (Ireland) 10) The French Angel (France)

Worldof Sport never ceases to entertain cruefan68! Congrats to The Villian on a successful title defense against Johnny Saint. That is a serious title defense in my book. He definitely earned his title tonight. Always enjoy The Sheepherders, (with faces only a mother could love), winning. Have to admit I need to catch up on the others involved on the card tonight, but like Pariah's feds, yours educates as well. When the Gang of One seeks his vengeance - it's time to run! Exotic Adrian Street winning was the highlight, not to mention the self indulgent celebration with Miss Linda. Homerun in the upper deck as usual my man!! Which territory is next up?
