I know a NICER GUY that's gonna get a PHENOMENAL beating when the previous champ gets a well deserved rematch... Using the ropes to cinch in that grapevine was shameful... Enjoy your reign while it lasts, Buddy... Cuz LOW is now the house that AJ built... And he's coming to reclaim his title... TRUTH!

Thanks for your comments Bri, Bookerbill, Troy and Pariah. I'm not sure if it came across in my match description but Styles vs. Rogers was a classic. They have really matched up well in my fed as you can tell by the title switches between them. Pariah, AJ is certainly in line for a rematch but that is pending a big upcoming event. If he fails to win there, he would definitely be in line for another shot in the new year.
I'm liking that Thesz and Lewis pairing as well. It is fun trying them out as a team. Who knows they may be booked in more tag matches in the future.
Ok up next is a huge announcement from the offices of LOW and I will follow that up by posting the latest card from World of Sport.

Show Highlights:
The opening six-round contest - two falls, two submissions or a knockout – on the final WOS card of the year saw “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams of Brooklyn, NY, take on the massive Jonah Rock hailing from Adelaide, Australia. The first three falls were awe inspiring with both men surviving a number of pinfall and submission attempts, including Williams barely kicking out in round three after taking the Monsta Splash. Williams used the girth of Rock against him in round four, wearing him down and using the Facelock for a submission. Rock tried to fight that fatigue off in between rounds but Williams capitalized early in round five hitting an impressive Piledriver for the pin taking a two to nil decision.
Two of the toughest men in World of Sport squared off as Martin Stone faced the “Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne. The opening round saw Stone in control, but Dunne was able to take it outside early in round two turning the tables. A short time later Dunne planted Stone with the Bitter End for the pin and a one to nil lead. Dunne carried that momentum into the third round, and, after a sitout power bomb, he hit the Bitter End for the pin. It was an impressive win for the “Bruiserweight” in this contest.
The newly formed tag team of Mark Andrews & Flash Morgan Webster had a tough draw as they took on The Sheepherders (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) in a one fall contest. As recently deemed by World of Sport ambassador Henry Irslinger, all tag team matches in WOS are to be contested under one fall rules within the traditional rounds system. This was a thrilling encounter with Andrews and Webster using their youth, speed, and agility to their advantage to combat the ruthless brutality of The Sheepherders who took this match to the outside several times. Webster nearly won it with The Strangler, a front guillotine choke, on Miller in the third round but he was able to escape. The Sheepherders took over two rounds later and it was Miller pinning Andrews after The Sheepherders connected with the Battering Ram.
In what many are deeming a huge upset, Mark Haskins posted a two to nil victory over Johnny Saint, a former two-time LOW Junior Heavyweight champion. The veteran Saint had things going his way early, including surprising Haskins with the Johnny Saint Special. It was a possible mistake, however, that cost Saint late in the third round as he went for a deathjump but was picked off by Haskins. That led to Haskins trapping him in the Sharpshooter and with just seconds remaining Saint tapped out under the pressure. Saint was favoring his back in between rounds and Haskins took full advantage taking over early in the fourth round again locking in the Sharpshooter. Saint tried to escape but was unable to get out and he conceded giving Haskins the huge victory. Haskins shook hands with Saint afterward drawing cheers from the crowd.
After a failed attempt to qualify for the PWI Invitational Cup Tournament, the “British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith was hoping to get on the right track in WOS as he took on another experienced veteran in David Taylor. Both men shook hands at the start setting the stage for a nice scientific bout. The opening round was fairly even but it was Smith taking over impressively in the second round. Taylor survived a number of near falls before Smith leveled him with the Running Power Slam for the pin seconds before the end of the round. With Taylor trying to recover between rounds, Smith homed in on him and quickly took over at the bell before coming off the top rope with a Flying Bodypress for the pin and an impressive two to nil victory for the “British Bulldog”.
A special handicap match saw King Kong Bundy take on the rough combination of Fit Finlay & Nigel McGuinness. This eight-round contest, with three minutes allotted per round, was held with tag out rules and the stipulation that only one fall from either side was required for the victory. The WOS fans have really taken to Bundy and they were fully behind him as he faced a dangerous situation. Bundy hit the Atlantic City Avalanche on both men in the early rounds but due to the tag team rules they were able to make a save each time. Finlay and McGuinness did a nice job roughing up Bundy, but the big man exploded in the fourth round. He avoided a double-team on the outside sending McGuinness sailing over the guard rail. Bundy then tossed Finlay back inside and delivered a 446-pound Knee Drop on him for the pin.
A highly anticipated tag team bout saw the popular Moustache Mountain (Trent Seven & Tyler Bate) take on LDRS, the combination of LOW Junior Heavyweight champion “The Villain” Marty Scurll & Zack Sabre Jr. Scurll was up to his usual villainy ways, taunting both men with the title belt and then using his umbrella on Seven early in the first round. Moustache Mountain did their best to counter the tactics of both Scurll and Sabre Jr., especially doing some nice quick tag ins to control the pace. This was pretty evenly fought going into the third round where Sabre Jr. surprised Seven with a Kimura lock and quickly transitioned into the Cross Armbreaker for the submission victory. LDRS picked up a key win, but the action did not stop there as Sabre Jr. tried to keep the hold applied post-match prompting a save by Bate.
The main event saw the Exotic Adrian Street, accompanied by his valet Miss Linda, enacting his rematch clause as he took on Tyler Black for the LOW International Heavyweight title. Black won the belt from Street on an ACW card in Macon, GA (Card #1276) and was hoping to leave the UK with the belt around his waist. This was a one fall match held under a sixty-minute time limit in accordance with the championship match rules set forth by LOW. WOS Ambassador Henry Irslinger was on hand to accept the championship from Black and hold it up before the referee called for the bell getting the match underway. This was a hard fought bout that included interference by Miss Linda backfiring after Black had hit the Phoenix Splash. Street collided with Linda there allowing Black to roll him up for a big near fall. Street came back using a Cobra Clutch on Black for a submission chance, but it was broken up in the ropes. The finishing sequence saw Street going for a fireman’s carry throat drop but Black countered out hitting Paroxysm. Street bailed out of the ring where Black caught him with a suicide dive that shook up both men. Black barely beat the count back in but Street was still down resulting in the champion winning a count out decision. It was a successful version one defense of the title for Black.
World of Sport Top 10 Rankings:
1) Exotic Adrian Street 2) King Kong Bundy 3) Johnny Saint 4) Pete Dunne 5) Mark Haskins 6) Tommy End 7) Tracy Williams 8) Zack Sabre Jr. 9) Davey Boy Smith 10) Jonah Rock

Was really hoping the Exotic One would reclaim the title to become a 2X LOW International Heavyweight Champion... However, Tyler Black is a very talented competitor who can quickly turn a single mistake by his opponent into a victory... Still a thrilling match.
Very cool that Davey Boy bounced back from failing to qualify for the PWI Invitational... And it's kinda cool seeing Bundy receive some support from the fans for a change.
Really hoping AJ prevails in the annual 12-Man Gold Star Battle Royal in order to get his rematch against Rogers at Wrestlecade... But, he's really got his work cut out for him... Eleven other men vying for the biggest opportunity in LOW... Oh, snap!
Another entertaining show preceded by a very exciting announcement, my friend... With each and every update, you always knock it clear out of the park!

That Gold Star Battle Royal is going to be incredible cruefan68! Although Thesz is my overall favorite I can't root against Frank Gotch. So go Gotch! World of Sport is always great. Too bad The Exotic One couldn't reclaim the title but Tyler Black is bad news. He may be holding onto that title for quite sometime. The Voodoo That Cruedoo Continues... Rock on brother!

Thanks for your comments Pariah, Troy, Crimson and Bri. I always enjoy doing the World of Sport shows and of course the upcoming Gold Star Battle Royal should be most interesting as we will find out who challenges Buddy Rogers for the LOW World Heavyweight title at WrestleCade 13. As the build towards the big event continues, and in what is really the calm before the storm, next up is the special United We Stand show presented by LOW in light of the recent controversy that resulted in a number of top stars being let go. That included Wrestling Is Fun being discontinued before what would have been their first stand alone show. Instead we have the territories of LOW coming together for this most interesting night of action...
LOW - United We Stand - American Legion Hall - Hellertown, PA (Card #1284)
Quick Results:
1) Backseat Boys (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere) defeated Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill (Johnny Kashmere pinned Danny Doring – Dream Sequence 2002)
2) Kiera Hogan defeated Xia Brookside (Pinfall – Rocker Dropper)
3) The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) defeated Tommy & Doug Gilbert (Bobby Fulton pinned Doug Gilbert – Cross Body Block)
4) Hacksaw Jim Duggan defeated Wild Bull Curry by DQ
5) The Crusher & Diamond Dallas Page defeated Ox Baker & Missing Link (The Crusher over Missing Link by submission – Snake Eyes – Crusher Nelson)
6) Andre the Giant defeated Larry Zbyszko (Pinfall – Sitdown Splash)
Show Highlights:
This special six-bout card, arranged by LOW Commissioner Teddy Long and his staff in place of what was supposed to be a Wrestling Is Fun show, kicked off with LOW All-Star Wrestling represented as Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill took on the Backseat Boys (Trent Acid & Johnny Kashmere). This was a great opening bout with both teams coming close to victory. The Backseat Boys took over on Doring late and combined on the T-Gimmick, but Roadkill made the save. That set up the Backseat Boys connecting with Dream Sequence 2002, a combination lifting lariat into a Boston Crab by Kashmere and a springboard legdrop to the back of the head by Acid. Kashmere quickly covered Doring for the pin as Acid dropkicked Roadkill off the apron giving the Backseat Boys a big win.
The Empress Ring division took center stage next as the popular Xia Brookside from Liverpool, England, took on Kiera Hogan billed out of Hotlanta, GA. They got off to a lightning quick start with near falls as Brookside hit Let’s Go!, a bulldog, and Hogan avoided a deathjump and executed a counter cradle hold. Things built up from there with some great exchanges including Hogan making a counter and knocking Brookside clean out of the ring with a flying elbow smash. Brookside recovered and went for a legdrop (ch) late but missed and Hogan took over eventually hitting a Rocker Dropper to score the pin.
The first of four inter-promotional matches saw The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) of Atlantic Coast Wrestling going up against Tommy & Doug Gilbert, the former T-D Machines of Extreme Continental Wrestling. The two finely tuned tag teams had great showings here, especially The Fantastics who utilized their quick tags and double-team moves with maximum effect. The finishing sequence saw The Fantastics hit the Press Slam & Splash combo on Doug Gilbert, but he managed to kick out of the pin. Then, as Rogers took out Tommy Gilbert, Fulton alertly rebounded off the ropes catching Doug with a surprise Cross Body Block to score the pin.
The popular Hacksaw Jim Duggan of the Capitol Wrestling Alliance is no stranger to roughhouse action, and he got all of that and more in facing the dangerous Wild Bull Curry of Golden Age Wrestling. There was nothing pretty about this one. Duggan exploded early taking it to Curry, including hitting the Flying Spear but Curry avoided being pinned by getting his foot over the bottom rope. Curry battled back taking the action out of the ring several times before bludgeoning Duggan with a foreign object. That enraged Duggan who took it out of the ring himself running Curry into the guard rail several times. It was no surprise that this match was eventually decided outside when Curry was disqualified for repeatedly hitting Duggan with a chair. Duggan managed to grab his 2x4 to fend off a further attack by Curry post-match.
The Crusher of Golden Age Wrestling teamed up with Diamond Dallas Page of Atlantic Coast Wrestling for a big tag team battle against Ox Baker of Extreme Continental Wrestling and the Missing Link of ACW. As with Duggan-Curry, this was a wild bout that saw all four men trading blows in and out of the ring. Baker blasted DDP with the Heart Punch at a heated point of the bout and covered him for the pin, but The Crusher made the save. DDP had a hard time recovering from that as Baker and the Link took turns working him over. DDP finally busted out against the Link and made the hot tag to The Crusher turning the tide of the battle. The Crusher and the Link had a stiff exchange before Crusher caught him in his trademark Crusher Nelson. Baker tried for the save but DDP dropped him with the Diamond Cutter allowing The Crusher to cinch the hold on resulting in a snake eyes submission victory over the now unresponsive Link.
The main event saw the crowd come to their feet as the “Eighth Wonder of the World” Andre the Giant made his way to the ring to take on the self-proclaimed “Living Legend” Larry Zbyszko of Atlantic Coast Wrestling. Andre, representing the Capitol Wrestling Alliance, stepped over the top rope to enter the ring prompting Zbyszko to bail out. Zbyszko did plenty of stalling before going for a dropkick but Andre brushed it off. That set the stage for what was to come as Andre used his great size and strength to dominate the action. He eventually used the turnbuckle squash on Zbyszko in the corner before hitting the Sitdown Splash for the pin. Zbyszko had to be helped out of the ring while the crowd cheered Andre who took the mic from ring announcer Gary Michael Cappetta. Andre spoke briefly, thanking the fans for accepting him back after his association with Bobby Heenan, and subsequently Sir Oliver Humperdink, and said that he is going to again travel the world through LOW taking on any and all challenges. He concluded by issuing a challenge to Humperdink’s new man, the One Man Gang, to face him at WrestleCade 13 in Chicago.

LOW United We Stand was a spectacular show, my friend... A great way for this fed to move forward through the controversy of recent events... Thought it was very fitting that Andre chose this forum as a way to reconnect with the fans... And I'm excited to see how Sir Oliver and OMG respond to the challenge that he issued at the conclusion... Awesome stuff, as always!
