Thanks very much for the comments Troy, Pariah and Bri. Troy I don't know what happened but I was able to get three in a row done which I felt good about. That KRU tour was a lot of fun and White vs. Omega, plus The Elite vs. Bullet Club, is coming along nicely. Stan Hansen & Bruiser Brody I expect will be a real force in KRU and I already have them and the Road Warriors penciled in for the Real World Tag League. Coming up next is a big night of action from Golden Age Wrestling, I hope that you enjoy it...

Show Highlights:
* The highly anticipated debut of the Great Gama, coming in undefeated from Amritsar, Punjab, India, saw him take on “Pretty Boy” Larry Sharpe appearing courtesy of All-Star Wrestling. Sharpe is an experienced journeyman wrestler but he was no match for Gama who in just two moves hit the Gama Throw, a double arm belly to belly throw, to score the pin. The crowd cheered the impressive debut for Gama who no doubt will be a serious threat to any opponent in Golden Age Wrestling.
* Empress Ring tag team action saw Susan Green & Athena take on Ida Mae Martinez & Toni Rose. Green recently suffered a controversial singles loss to Rose so she was hoping to avenge that in this tag team bout. The two had several rough exchanges in a match that could have gone either way. Martinez hit a Dropkick on Green for a big near fall with Green returning the favor with a standing dropkick for two. This one ended up outside where Green snatched a chair away from Rose hitting her with it resulting in a disqualification decision. With the Empress Ring tag team title tournament on the horizon, this was a big win for Martinez and Rose and a frustrating loss for Green and Athena…George Tragos & Fritz Von Goering joined forces to take on The Terrible Turk, Yusuf Ismail, and GAW newcomer “Lightning” Rod Fenton. This was a wild bout that almost resulted in a second straight disqualification decision. Von Goering took the lead late and, after a deathjump attack, he tagged in Tragos who trapped The Turk in the Armlock & Scissors for a submission victory…A battle of top technical stars saw Dick Hutton go up against Larry Zbyszko, the self-proclaimed “Living Legend” of professional wrestling. Hutton was a step ahead of Zbyszko early on frustrating him to no end. Zbyszko finally made a counter and roughed up Hutton for a good stretch. The finishing stretch saw Zbyszko impressively kick out of pinfall attempts after an atomic drop and Oklahoma side roll. After a skirmish in the ropes, Hutton caught Zbyszko with a dropkick and locked on the Abdominal Stretch in center ring for a submission win.
* A feature tag team bout saw Joe Blanchard & Tiger Conway Sr. join forces to take on the Hamilton Wrecking Crew of John & Chris Tolos. The duo of Blanchard and Conway looked good early constantly keeping the Tolos Brothers on the defensive. John Tolos managed to turn things around using the corkscrew on both men. Chris Tolos was equally as effective wearing down Conway in the home stretch. After Chris executed a bodyslam to Conway on the floor, he fired him back in where John, who was the legal, man hit the Flying Knee Drop for the pin…A battle of powerhouses saw the popular Yukon Eric face the “Russian Lion” George Hackenschmidt. This was a real hard fought battle that saw both men come close to victory. Eric nearly won it when he locked on the Kodiak Krunch, an over the shoulder backbreaker, but Hackenschmidt escaped. Eric also used a powerful bear hug for a submission chance. The turning point came when Eric missed a knee drop leading to a monster offensive by Hackenschmidt culminating in the Russian Bear Hug for a submission victory…Another feature tag team bout saw The Crusher & Danny Hodge team up against Nick Bockwinkel & Ray “The Crippler” Stevens who were accompanied by their manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. It was a rough week for Heenan who saw Buddy Rogers drop the LOW World Heavyweight title to Johnny Valentine, and he got some equally anxious moments in this match. The Crusher and Hodge proved to be a formidable challenge for the Heenan Family in a match filled with near falls and dramatic pin saves. The Crusher was busted open but kept battling, nearly pinning Bockwinkel with the Crusher Bolo. Late into it a fired up Hodge tried to take it home but a trip up by Heenan sent him directly into a Jumping Knee Smash by Stevens for the pin.
* The popular Bobo Brazil was out for revenge as he took on Ed “Strangler” Lewis, as in revenge for Jim Londos who was recently put out of action by the “Strangler”. The powerful Brazil was more than a match for Lewis who was accompanied to ringside by his protégé the great Lou Thesz, a two-time LOW World Heavyweight champion. Thesz was not pleased with the way Lewis injured Londos but decided to remain loyal to the “Strangler” going into this match. Late in the bout, Lewis caught Brazil with the Strangler’s Headlock two straight times but he kicked out of the pin attempts. A frustrated Lewis then resorted to a vicious move cranking the hurt neck of Brazil with the Neck Yoke before cradling him for the pin. Lewis wasn’t finished, though, and went for a post-match Strangler’s Headlock but Thesz intervened.
Before he knew what hit him, Thesz was struck from behind by none other than Evan “Strangler” Lewis! The crowd looked on shocked as Lewis made a long awaited return to LOW, where he and Ed once feuded over the “Strangler” name. The two men stared each other down but then shook hands and teamed up to attack both Thesz and Brazil! It was an incredible scene as Ed and Evan Lewis united and the left the ring to a chorus of jeers. PWI Editor Bill Apter was on hand to cover the show and afterward got word that the united Lewis’ combination wants to be known as Strangler’s Inc. and that Ed Lewis said that Thesz learned the ultimate lesson from the teacher.
* The semi-final bout saw Frank Gotch, the popular former LOW World Heavyweight champion, take on the flamboyant Gorgeous George who was accompanied by his valet Cherie Dupre. George had Dupre spray the ring with the perfume atomizer as he tossed Georgie Pins to the crowd, an act that had Gotch itching to get on with the match. Once the bell did sound it was George regretting it as Gotch outmaneuvered him every step of the way. A frustrated George eventually found himself trapped in the Gotch Toehold and, with Dupre unable to help, he tapped out giving Gotch the victory via submission.
* The main event for the LOW International Heavyweight title saw the high-flying Antonino Rocca challenge another high-flying star in defending champion Tyler Black. Rocca has done it all in LOW save for holding the International title and he was determined to win it here. Black had other ideas and twice hit the Phoenix Splash in the early going for near falls. Rocca made a swift comeback and countered an F5 by Black into a victory roll for a big near fall. The crowd was going crazy by the end of this exciting match which saw Black execute God’s Last Gift for a big near fall. Rocca regained control until an outside counter by Black led to him hitting a third Phoenix Splash for the pin. It was a successful version seven defense of the title for Black who afterward shook hands with Rocca drawing cheers from the crowd.
