Sweet victory for Samson and Cross...
And I simply cannot wait to see what manner of delicious intrigue my Vampire brother is simmering in his Olde Time skillet... Truth!

I thoroughly enjoyed the last two offerings and Bud & Lou continue to steal the show for me. Love their interaction. I also loved the ladies Mary Elizabeth Monroe & Thunderkitty winning over Murderers Row plus Monroe and Kimber Lee winning over their male counterparts. Imagine how that would have gone over back then! Chuck Taylor in Olde is great. Big fan of Chucky T! Keep the great Olde action coming my friend.

Sweet victory for Samson and Cross... And I simply cannot wait to see what manner of delicious intrigue my Vampire brother is simmering in his Olde Time skillet... Truth! Hey Pariah! Very stoked you are enjoying the OWF amigo. Intrigue is the word when it comes to Mr. Black from New Orleans proper. Although on paper, his cousin Judge Hugo Lexington Black owns the OWF but in reality, the OWF is the property of Coven Black. Madam Destiny needs to be careful, her obvious mystical powers have uncovered the tip of an iceberg. Now Coven has enlisted his younger brother Mandinga (aka Ultramantis Black) into the mix. As the saying goes, the plot thickens. I hope you enjoy where this goes my friend. The next OWF Card will be posted soon. Mention to Wae Mest that you're in tight with "The Real Owner" in order to get a mug of the really good root beer!

Very glad the OWF is worth the three bits admission my friend! I wholeheartedly agree with you, women wrestling in 1929 - that would have made people loose their minds. Going to be posting the next card in a few, keep an eye in the crowd, there's another woman wrestler soon to arrive in the OWF - matter of fact an OWF Women's World Championship Title as well. More to follow - also glad Abbott and Costello are entertaining. Thanks brother!

A Bodacious Bonanza Of Bodyslams!
☆ Brought To You By: --------------------------------------- The Art of Manliness & The Law Offices of Marx, Marx And Marx.
Bob The Barker's - Top Turnbuckle Tribune 10: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Representative Gavin Q. Volstead vs Jollyville Jeeper Clean.
â–ª Burlesque Show.
2. Dasher Hatfiled vs Jock Samson.
â–ª Madam Destiny.
3. Murderer's Row - Big Sue Jackson & OWF Brouhaha Champion - Burly Bill Taylor vs Bonnie & Clyde - Kickin Kimber Lee & The Kentucky Gentleman - Chuck Taylor.
â–ª Abbott & Costello.
MAIN EVENT: --------------------------
4. OWF World Champion - Matthew Cross defends his title against Old Timer - Jeff King.
☆☆ 2 out of 3 Falls - No Time Limit Bout!! ☆☆
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OWF 10 - Events & Match Results: --------------------------------------------------------------
1. An extremely fast paced and tough to call contest until Gavin Q. Volstead started to carve up Jollyville Jeeper Clean's face with a Foreign Object (A Pocket Knife). Although Clean fought back both inside and outside the ring, the blood loss was insurmountable.
(Volstead pinned Jeeper Clean courtesy of his KICK BACK finisher - An Enziguri to A Kneeling Opponent at the 3 minute mark).
(Volstead was met with an avalanch of outrage due to his methods, OWF Security Staff Hook, Line and Sinker had to even break up and control two livid fans physically attacking Volstead as he sneered his way back to the locker area).
Burlesque Show: --------------------------------
â–ª A 20 minute tour deforce burlesque show occurred for the crowd complete with: songs and comedy (including W.C. Fields), acrobats and magicians, a chorus line and a parody of erecting The Statue of Liberty in New York harbor, with a robe that didn't really fit her. Lady Liberty was played by a long raven haired beauty named Smoki Mountains.
2. Another quick and decisive match tonight that the fans really got behind making up for Volsteads lack of ethics in the prior match. As the unstable Dasher Hatfield started to get the best of Jock Samson, Hatfield went for an Atomic Drop - only to have Samson reverse it into an absolutely tide turning & ring shaking Power Slam.
(Samson pinned Hatfield courtesy of his PILEDRIVER finisher at the 3 minute mark).
(A very intense and disturbed looking woman sat at ringside, continuing to enjoy tonights exhibitions. She ate her peanuts just as she always liked them, still inside the shells and sharpened her screwdriver on the small stone in her other hand).
Madam Destiny -------------------------------
â–ª Madam Destiny again had mixed success with tarot card and palm readings for the patrons of The OWF tonight. She got through all of the readings, but now simultaneously in her minds eye she kept seeing a brass pocket watch that had a brass chain connecting it to a brass key. As well as the number 1862. She doesn't know what to make of these visions. She vowed to share this with Bud and Lou.
3. The team of Murderer's Row accomplished just what they wanted to do, isolate Kickin Kimber Lee inside the ring and work her over. Although Lee started off Dropkicking Big Sue Jackson in the groin, Jackson and Taylor's offense proved to be too dominating.
(Jackson pinned Lee with his Samoan Drop at the 6 minute mark, as OWF Brouhaha Champion Brass Knuckle Punched Chuck Taylor as he rushed to Lee's aid).
(Gaining a measure of revenge, Lee clasped her hands together and struck Jackson square in the jaw, driving him backwards and ass over head as Taylor had just knelt down behind him - causing the immemse Jackson to tumble out of the ring taking the ropes with him. As an irate Burly Bill Taylor started yelling at both of them, Lee and Chuck Taylor turned towards each other. After both Lee and Taylor smacked their own knees and clapped their hands together, confusing Bill Taylor, they both simultaneously punched Bill Taylor square in the face and then scattered in different directions, away from the fuming Jackson and Bill Taylor - who didn't know who to chase first).
Abbott & Costello: ---------------------------------
Lou Costello - Hey Bud...before we go on with the show...I gotta talk to you...
Bud Abbott - Sure...pal o mine...what's on your mind?
Lou Costello - I know that now we are a partnership...strictly 50/50...but last year I worked for you...you still owe me 365 dollars for 365 days...just like we said...
Bud Abbott - Good thinking kid...I'm glad you reminded me...let me get my pad and pencil here...ok...now...365 dollars for 365 days...course you know with every corporation...there's always deductions...
Lou Costello - Oh there are?...
Bud Abbott - Why certainly...for example...365 dollars to start...but...actually...you only worked 8 hours a day...now since there's 24 hours in a day...that 365 becomes one third of that or 121 I reckon it...
Lou Costello - Yeah you sure are wreckin it...
Bud Abbott - 121 dollars...but...you didn't work Sundays did you...
Lou Costello (Gulps) - No...
Bud Abbott - So thats 121 minus 52 for the Sundays so your new amount is...69 dollars...now let's see 69 dollars...but
Lou Costello (Cringes) - I knew there was gonna be another but...
Bud Abbott - You only worked half a day on Saturdays...so half a year of Saturdays is 26...so 69 minus 26 equals...your new sum of 43 dollars...
Lou Costello (biting one finger) - Cant I just get some of it?
Bud Abbott - So 43 dollars...
Bud and a now angry Lou in unison - BUT!...
Bud Abbott - Let's see...you had two weeks vacation...so that's 43 minus 14...which makes it 29 dollars now...
Lou Costello (starting to whimper a bit and tear up) - Ok...I'll take the 29 bucks...no more buts please...will you?
Bud Abbott - However...
Lou Costello - I think I like the buts better...
Bud Abbott - You took one hour lunch each day...so that's another...15 dollars I take it...
Lou Costello (Emotional) - Why not!...You've taken everything else!...
Bud Abbott - So that makes it 14 dollars payable to you............but...
Lou Costello - (Whimpering and tearing up a bit as he starts to eat his own tie).
Bud Abbott - There were 13 holidays last year...so 14 minus 13...here you are (he hands Lou a single buck)...now what's the matter...look don't get excited...
Lou Costello - Bud...You cant do this to me...I've...I've got another mouth to feed...now...
Bud Abbott (shocked and feeling guilty) - What?...What do you mean...We've been together so long and you never told me...Why?
Lou Costello (looks down at his shoes for a while) - I was...ashamed...
Bud Abbott (feels horrible that he just cheated his little pal so badly) - Gee Lou...I'm...sorry...tell you what...(diggs into his pocket)...here's the 365...plus another 50 of mine...
Lou Costello - Thank you...pal...
Bud Abbott - So Lou...is it a boy or a girl?...
Lou Costello - Goldfish...
Bud Abbott (Enraged) - Why You No Good...Double Crosser!!!...
(Bud chases a high pitched yelping Lou throughout the arena, but never catches him).
4. THE MAIN EVENT: -------------------------------------------
The First Fall: ---------------------------
After reversing a Waistlock from Jeff King with a rapid fire combination of a Hiptoss into a Press Slam, Matthew Cross methodically captures the first of this best of three fall match.
(Cross pins King courtesy of a Firemans carry neckbreaker at the 3 minute mark to take the first fall).
The Final Fall: ---------------------------
Although once again Old Timer Jeff King came out on the early offensive, once OWF World Champion Matthew Cross was able to reverse King's offense, that was all she wrote - this time an Airplane Spin was what set up the fall.
(Cross pins King courtesy of a Standing Backwards Somersault at the 6 minute mark to take the second and final fall).

The Inside Scoops (1 of 4) Partners In Crime 3: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
â–ª Bud hears from his friend in New York City who works at The White Star Lines offices, via a phonecall - as he Lou and Madam Destiny compare notes. According to the reports given via testimony from the surviving crew members - during the sinking it all became a bit of a free for all, with many items stolen as well as sunk. At the urgings of Madam Destiny and Lou, Bud confirms for them with Bud's friend that one of the items stolen was a solid brass pocketwatch, chain and key that were apparently crafted and forged during the United States Civil War. Although Bud really doesn't want any part of this, if Lou follows it up, then he will too. Desinty's Three are now actively pursuing this mysteries.
The Inside Scoops (2 of 4) Fade To Black 3: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
â–ª "Mandinga", (aka Coven Black's basically human younger brother Ultramantis Black), made his horse drawn way up from the French Quarter in New Orleans to Speakeasy Arena in Speakeasy, Ohio, traveling only by night. Inky Scoops, while combating nervousness, orchestrated Mandingas establishment just outside Speakeasy Arena next to Chief Walcott Kickapoo's Covered Casino Cart. Mandinga roundaboutly found out from OWF security members Hook, Line & Sinker that both Bud Abbott and Lou Costello are soon going to start sharing one of the ajoining hotel rooms conected to the arena as room and board, in addition to payment they earn as their entertainment wages.
The Inside Scoops (3 of 4) What's In A Name 3: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inky Scoops - Wow...Lucky and Scarface huh...And Lucia's sure about this?
Ms. Jean Harlow - 100%
OWF World Champion Matthew Cross - I say go to the cops right now Ink...
Inky Scoops - I would...except all the coppers around here are phonier than a three dollar bill...I saw William H. Taft at one of our shows recently I wonder...
Ms. Jean Harlow (snaps her fingers) - I'm a waitress at the hotel's restaurant in town as my day job...I saw Taft last night...he's staying at the hotel...indefinitely...
Matthew Cross - Who hired The Masked Sicilians?
Inky Scoops - The Blacks...On paper Hugo...but in reality It's probably Coven...(To Ms. Harlow) - Taft's taying there indefinitely huh?
Ms. Jean Harlow - Yep...
Inky Scoops (to Cross) - Could you and
Matthew Cross (interrupting Scoops) - Definitely...what time?
Ms. Jean Harlow - Take that gorilla downstairs with you guys too just in case.
Jock Samson (from downstairs) - I heard that...
Ms. Jean Harlow - I'm sorry Jock...that cute and cuddly gorilla downstairs...how's that?...
Jock Samson (from downstairs) - O.K...I can work with that...
The Inside Scoops (4 of 4) Here Comes The Judge 3: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
â–ª Chief Justice William H. Taft finished off quite a few bourbons and then started to go to work. He inquired within the hotel to see if anyone had the phone number of OWF management in particular, the one for Master Inky Scoops. Coincidentally, Taft called and was able to speak with Scoops while Cross, Harlow and Samson were still in Inky's office. He also stated that he wanted Scoops to bring Dr. Jacob Omen with him as well. As Taft hung up his phone, the sleek, black shadowy figure of Coven Black crawled back down the brick and mortal side of the hotel in town...he assumed the form of a large vampire bat...and flew away on a course towards the Ohio River...about two miles away from the town of Speakeasy and the OWF arena...

Very cool that Cross retained... But, he better seriously consider the possible repercussions of any plans to CROSS the owner of the OWF... My Vampire brother will not condone meddling in his affairs... Truth!

Another very fun Olde show, especially Gavin Q. Volstead heeling it up in the opener, Big Sue taking quite the tumble courtesy of Kimber Lee and Matthew Cross retaining the title in the main event. Bud & Lou were, of course, another real highlight and I think my peepers expanded ten fold while gawking at Lady Liberty er Smoki Mountains
